In technical term; this solution was proposed to reduce the operational expenditure for service providers in future wireless systems since it offers the possibility of automatic and remote managing of mobile networks especially in LTE-Advanced and beyond, coming within the 11th Release of 3GPP. SON includes a set of functions divided into three types: self-configuration, self-optimization and self-healing functions. Some of these functions have already been standardized but others still under researches, since they present some problems such as auto-tuning mobility parameters, which is the main topic that will be discussed throughout this work. Thus, we will try in this paper to find solutions to achieve traffic balancing and enhance the network capacity by developing a novel auto-tuning strategy based on mobility. This strategy will present the impact of LTE-A and mobility auto-tuning on the system performances, defined as the user throughput average and congestion indicators of the network. At the end simulation results demonstrate that the gain capacity when using the auto-tuning concept is further greater than without it.","PeriodicalId":405923,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Electrical and Information Technologies (ICEIT)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126651083","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, in most cases, uniform power allocation (UPA) strategy is still widely utilized, which wastes the limited resources of the communication system and thus degrades the quality of service (QoS). Therefore, in this paper, we will compare optimal power allocation (OPA) strategy with UPA for the decode-and-forward (DF) relay station. Moreover, in this paper, the direct transmit link between the source and the destination will be considered. As a result of this consideration, a more convincible comparing result can be obtained. Finally, the better performance of OPA strategy over UPA strategy can be verified under a series of mathematical reasonings and simulations.","PeriodicalId":405923,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Electrical and Information Technologies (ICEIT)","volume":"77 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126236810","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The output of each biometric matcher is modeled as a fuzzy set using membership functions, and the corresponding fuzzy entropy estimates the reliability of the information provided by each biometric matcher. Then, the fuzzy densities are generated based on training accuracy and fuzzy entropy. The results are aggregated using the Choquet integral. This novel method can measure the importance of each biometric matcher and improves the accuracy of the fusion model significantly.","PeriodicalId":405923,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Electrical and Information Technologies (ICEIT)","volume":"96 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128952303","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

At the emitter, multiple watermarks are embedded using CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access). At the receiver, we consider the detection problem of the multiple watermarks as a matter of BSS between the audio signal and the watermark one. We make our choice on the UISA (Under-determined Independent Subspace Analysis) technique that has proven its performance in terms of detection reliability. Recovering the estimated audio signal at the receiver, we show how to transform the blind detection to a non-blind one. Experimental results show how the detection of multiple watermarks can be improved thanks to recovering the estimated signal at the reception.","PeriodicalId":405923,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Electrical and Information Technologies (ICEIT)","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128503595","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For that, a Multiple Signal Classification (MUSIC) technique has been introduced in the IM fault diagnosis world. MUSIC has the highest frequency resolution among all FFT-based methods, non parametric and parametric methods. Despite its effectiveness in improving the freqency resolution, MUSIC is computationally too complex to implement in real time and it takes a long computation time to find more frequencies by increasing the order of the frequency signal dimension. To address this problem, a zoom MUSIC algorithm (ZMUSIC) that combined the zoom technique and the MUSIC algorithm was proposed. We present the results obtained for real data to verify the proposed method for monitoring of Wound Rotor Induction Machine.","PeriodicalId":405923,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Electrical and Information Technologies (ICEIT)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127446559","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of the control strategy is initially to define an electromagnetic torque reference by an Mppt system based on mechanical torque estimator using backstepping control then in a second time the second order sliding mode control is applied to achieve smooth regulation of both electromagnetic torque and stator reactive power. Compared with traditional controls, the proposed strategy using robust control, allow to directly track the DFIG torque leading to maximum power extraction. This allows a large wind system performances. Simulation is carried out in SimPower toolbox of Matlab/Simulink. The suggested system would provide cars' drivers with accurate information about location and availability of parking spots. The status of each parking lot is detected by its corresponding sensor node, and reported periodically to a database. This latter converts the collected data into meaningful information which can be viewed via a LED screen at the entrance of the parking and a phone application. The paper also discusses the different functionalities of the system by means of design.
