The model of Wind Energy Conversion System (WECS) consists of a wind turbine, two-mass drive train, PMSG, and power converter supplying a DC load. The proposed method based on sensorless wind speed, air density and turbine parameters, generates the outputs to be used in the Field Oriented Control (FOC) requiring implementation of an active rectifier and also in the MPPT block. At first, we show the advantage of using a FOC of the PMSG. Then we describe the EKF and the extremum seeking method. Simulations on Matlab-Simulink can be found at the end of the paper, confirming the performance of the proposed approach.","PeriodicalId":405923,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Electrical and Information Technologies (ICEIT)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114544526","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Compared to silicon, glass provides better electrical performances. In this work, we present a new electrical modeling approach, based on physical parameters, for the glass interposer with through package vias (TPV). First, we develop a model that takes into consideration the parasitic effects which represent a serious drawback for high frequency applications. The interesting feature of this model is its ability to convert physical weaknesses into electrical characteristics. We simulate the insertion loss induced within the TPV structure and we compare the results with the insertion loss induced within trough silicon vias (TSV). Finally we design a model to simulate the Crosstalk between two neighbor TPVs.","PeriodicalId":405923,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Electrical and Information Technologies (ICEIT)","volume":"49 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129413890","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This control is based on monitoring the evolution of ultrasonic parameters namely velocity and attenuation through the pack in different temperatures. To check the reliability of this technique, we have followed the evolution of these ultrasonic parameters in two particular cases: the sterilized pack (without hole) and the non-sterilized pack (with hole). The function of this hole is to allow air infiltration inside the pack. By comparing the results issued from this experimental study, we demonstrated the ability of this method to detect the presence of an air-trace inside the pack. This fact is confirmed by detection of a divergence at a given time for each ultrasonic parameter between both cases. We explained this as a translation of bacterial activity. In addition, this study has shown that the temperature 35 °C is the most suitable to bacterial growth.","PeriodicalId":405923,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Electrical and Information Technologies (ICEIT)","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126920052","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

All used equations were obtained with a transparent analytical procedure. To avoid using any mathematical simplifications or other physical assumptions when extracting RS (series resistance) parameter, a fast and accurate iterative numerical method is proposed. For determine a four or five PV parameters model, many authors proposed several procedures that require the entire experimental I-V curves or based on many estimations, assumptions and simplifications for solving non-linear I-V equations. These techniques lead to a PV parameters model with a minimum error. We apply this combined method in order to extract the four-parameter Single-Diode models of photovoltaic modules. The effectiveness of this approach is evaluated and validated by Matlab/Simulink environment, through comparison of simulation results of the model to the data provided by product's manufacturer. It envisaged that this work is very useful for PV power electronics designers who require exact, fast and accurate approach for modeling emulating their photovoltaic modules under various environmental conditions.","PeriodicalId":405923,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Electrical and Information Technologies (ICEIT)","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125594288","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The navigation data are recorded using a low cost GPS receiver antenna, and post-processed using GPS post-processing algorithms used in RTKLIB C++ package. This method allowed us to study and simulate errors variation in the case of a single positioning mode. An important focus was given to the Dilution of Precision (DOP) characterization of GPS errors, on the computed solution by a software post-processing. The DOP parameter showed a good indication of the quality of the GPS positioning solution, when using good satellite geometry. For navigation processing, it is usually convenient to choose the lowest value of DOP (DOP <; 4) in order to minimize the GPS errors. But often, this is to choose some satellites with low elevations angles. As a solution for this issue, the best case is obtained when choosing a minimum DOP with best and optimum elevation angle. The experience was carried out using a fixed antenna receiver, where the effects of other sources of errors such as multipath were reduced. In this case, we compare the performances of using all the satellites in view, to choosing the optimum geometry obtained using 4 satellites generated by a quasi-optimal algorithm. This two are employed to be compared and to calculate the constellation's DOP and the corresponding receiver's position error. Results show that it s better to deal with best satellites geometry, and an accurate correlation between DOP and resulting errors can be obtained.","PeriodicalId":405923,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Electrical and Information Technologies (ICEIT)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125628392","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The obstructed link study takes into account the human shadowing effect, usually caused by close by miners interrupting the transmitter-receiver link. Measurement campaigns were performed using Monopole antennas in an underground gold mine. The off-body channels were characterized in terms of the channel impulse response, RMS delay spread, and coherence bandwidth. The channel capacity was determined using the well-known Shannon formula for LOS and NLOS situations. Living labs (cities in which new designed systems can be tested in real conditions) have been created all over Europe to test the possibilities of these future cities. It's the new concept where vehicular networks play relevant role. The Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks VANETs are a sub-class of the most studied Mobile Ad hoc Networks MANET, in which vehicles are considered as mobile nodes. VANETs differ from other MANETs because of their specific characteristics, inducing numerous problems and constraints, which lead us to discuss many issues in VANETs as they are decentralized, self organized, self monitoring with distributed nature of network. When and if deployed, VANETs will be the most implemented MANET ever and will continue their development over next years; it is indeed the reason why many issues are of great concern to be studied. Ample research efforts have been devoted to VANETs in the broadcasting domain. In order to have optimal and adaptive approaches, we focus on a number of requirements. In this light, this article will present an overview of VANETs, chiefly broadcasting protocols with the aim to resolve this relevant related issue, it also present some suggested broadcasting solutions and a propose a new algorithm with the idea of integrating the concept of Intelligent Traffic Lights ITLs in order to solve the core's problem which is how to minimize the number of rebroadcast packets while maintaining good latency and reachability using dynamic parameters from the counter, probability based and distance based.","PeriodicalId":405923,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Electrical and Information Technologies (ICEIT)","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130557080","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These services are creating more opportunities but at the same time bringing new challenges in particular security and privacy concerns. To address this issue, an access control management system must be implemented. This work introduces a new access control framework for IoT environment, precisely the Web of Things (WoT) approach, called “SmartOrBAC” Based on the OrBAC model. SmartOrBAC puts the context aware concern in a first position and deals with the constrained resources environment complexity. To achieve these goals, a list of detailed IoT security requirements and needs is drawn up in order to establish the guidelines of the “SmartOrBAC”. Then, The OrBAC model is analyzed and extended, regarding these requirements, to specify local as well as collaboration access control rules; on the other hand, these security policies are enforced by applying web services mechanisms mainly the RESTFUL approach.
