Gonçalves","doi":"10.17851/2238-3824.24.3.105-123","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.17851/2238-3824.24.3.105-123","url":null,"abstract":"Resumo: Este artigo propoe-se analisar um dos generos mais produtivos da poesia palaciana portuguesa dos seculos XVI e XVII, o retrato elogioso da donna , de fundo petrarquista, largamente praticado no Quinhentos por poetas como Luis de Camoes, Pero de Andrade Caminha e Sa de Miranda, e, no seculo seguinte, pelos poetas cujas obras foram reunidas nas coletâneas de verso Fenix Renascida e Postilhao de Apolo . Demonstra-se a pratica de “notacao” do retrato elogioso, discutem-se os preceitos retoricos e poeticos que o regravam, sua utilidade como controle dos afetos cortesaos, e como o seu contrario, o retrato comico, especificamente aquele construido a base de metaforas de doce, valendo-se dos mesmos lugares comuns de invencao, disposicao e elocucao do genero, articula a imagem reversa da donna , transformando a illustratio ou evidentia (de forte apelo visual), propria do retrato de tipo alto, em “apetite”, “gustacao”, “gula” e “satisfacao sexual”. Abstract: This article proposes to analyze one of the most productive poetry genres of Portuguese palace in the 16th and 17th Centuries – praise of a lady, fundamentally Petrarchan, largely practiced in the 1500s by poets such as Luis de Camoes, Pero de Andrade Caminha, and Sa de Miranda, and in the following century, by poets whose works were reunited in the collections of verses Phoenix Reborn (Fenix Renascida) and Apollo’s Postilion (Postilhao de Apolo). The practice of “Notation” in the complimentary portrait is demonstrated, the rhetorical and poetic precepts that are rewritten are discussed, its usefulness as a control on courtier affections as well as how its opposite, the comedic portrait, specifically that one built upon sweet metaphors, using the same commonplaces of invention, arrangement and elocution of the genre, articulates the reverse image of a lady, transforming the illustration or evidentia (of strong visual appeal), typical of the higher type portrait, into “appetite”, “gustation”, “gluttony”, and “sexual satisfaction”. Para isso, observa-se a insercao do termo nome social no ordenamento juridico brasileiro e, em seguida, analisam-se as estrategias de referencia a pessoas trans em noticias sobre a violencia a esse grupo publicadas na internet entre 2008 e 2017. A analise revela que o termo nome social comeca a ser usado nas normas brasileiras de âmbito nacional nos ultimos anos da primeira decada do seculo XXI, mas sua frequencia em textos de noticias tem sido baixa. Em todo caso, verifica-se que o reconhecimento do nome social constitui, nos dois conjuntos de textos, uma forma de garantia do principio da dignidade da pessoa humana. Abstract : Based on theoretical assumptions of the Socio-onomastics, this work aims to analyze the social name as a category of Brazilian anthroponymy. To reach this purpose, the inclusion of the term nome social (social name) in the Brazilian legal system is observed. We also analyse the strategies of reference to trans people in the news about violence against this group published on the Internet between 2008 and 2017. The analysis leaves room for observing that the term nome social was first used in the Brazilian national norms in the last years of the first decade of the 21st century, but its frequency in the news has been low. Notwithstanding, the recognition of the social name constitutes, in both sets of texts, a way to guarantee the principle of human dignity. Essas cartas tinham como finalidade comunicar a coroa as acoes (e consequentemente, as dificuldades) das missoes enviadas ao Oriente, tanto no tocante a conducao da catequizacao, quanto da conversao, que eram os intuitos principais na promocao da expansao da religiao catolica, mas que traziam no seu bojo outras intencoes, como o avanco economico e politico sobre aquela populacao. A obra em estudo resulta da reuniao das mais significativas cartas enviadas a Portugal. Escritas originalmente em portugues, elas foram posteriormente traduzidas para o neolatim, sob o titulo Epistolae iapanicae, de multorum gentilium in uariis insulis ad Christi fidem, per Societas nominis Iesu Theologos Conuersione . A edicao dessas cartas, neste formato, deu-se no ano de 1569, pelo editor Ruitger Velpius (1540-1615), pela Universidade de Lovaina, com prologos e subtitulos de Hannardus Gameren Mosaeus (1530-1569) e o patrocinio de Alberto V, Duque da Baviera (1528-1579). A proposta deste artigo e discutir o processo de composicao desta obra a partir das suas caracteristicas enquanto trabalho resultante de compilacao de documentos esparsos, aqui tratados como fontes primarias, em que se levam em conta aspectos contextuais como mecenato, intencoes editoriais e os processos de adequacao da difusao dos documentos inacianos aos propositos de expansao religiosa, politica e comercial, transformando um arquivo de cartas de circulacao restrita em obra impressa de valor essencial para as intencoes expansionistas de Portugal. Abstract: The Japanese Letters ( Epistolae Iapanicae ) are documents which record the activity of the Portuguese Jesuits in Japanese territory from 1549. These letters were intended to report to the crown the actions (and consequently the difficulties) of missions sent to the East, both in terms of conducting catechization and conversion, which were the main purposes for promoting the expansion of the Catholic religion, but which brought with it other intentions, such as economic and political advantages taken of that population. The work under study results from the gathering of the most significant letters sent to Portugal. Originally written in Portuguese, they were later translated into Neo-Latin, under the title Epistolae Iapanicae, de multorum gentilium in variis insulis ad Christi fidem per societatis nominis Iesu Theologos conuersione . These letters were edited in this format in 1569 by editor Ruitger Velpius (1540-1615), at the University of Leuven, with prologues and subtitles by Hannardus Gameren Mosaeus (1530-1569), sponsored by Alberto V, Duke of Bavaria (1528-1579). Sera revisitado o conceito de ethos e sua funcionalidade na interpretacao do discurso literario (MAINGUENEAU, 2004), desnaturalizado e visto como um constructo cultural. A interrogacao voltada para a autobiografia de Berlioz demandou, para alem da Analise do Discurso, o recurso a metodos de leitura provenientes de abordagens oferecidas pela historia da edicao e as teorias do campo literario (BOURDIEU, 1992). Nas Memorias de Berlioz combinam-se estrategias discursivas de projecao de um ethos de compositor, assim como da afirmacao e rasura de um ethos de escritor, compondo uma persona de artista romântico. It will revisit the concept of ethos and its functionality in the interpretation of literary discourse (MAINGUENEAU, 2004), denatured and seen as a cultural construct. In addition to analyzing the discourse, the question of Berlioz’s autobiography demanded the use of reading methods from approaches offered by the history of publishing and the theories of the literary field (BOURDIEU, 1992). Berlioz’s Memoirs combine discursive strategies of projection of a composer ethos , as well as the affirmation and erasure of an ethos of writer, composing a persona of romantic artist. O texto apresenta os diferentes termos advindos na corrente de construcao de espacos de vida e de narrativa no universo das Ciencias Humanas: biografia, autobiografia, historias de vida. Em seguida, reflete-se sobre as extensoes da pratica biografica, atraves do estado da arte, para, finalmente, chegar no dominio de pesquisa e pratica do ensino-aprendizagem de linguas estrangeiras, mais especificamente de lingua francesa. Fundamentam este estudo obras organizadas por grupos de trabalho brasileiros e franceses. Finalizamos com a apresentacao de nosso projeto de pesquisa-ensino-extensao aplicado em Porto Seguro, Bahia, integrando os atores da escola publica, estudantes da universidade e Historias de vida. Abstract: The aim of this paper is firstly to call attention to the importance that reports on life stories of actors involved in the public school realm have as an investigative approach to training French language students at Southern Bahia Federal University. The text shows different terms coming from the thread of research built upon life spaces and narrative within the Human Sciences: biographies, autobiographies, life stories. Then we ponder over the extensions of biographical practice, through the state of the art, in order to finally reach the research and practice domain of foreign language teaching-learning, specifically, French. The study is based on references organized by Brazilian and French work groups. We conclude with the presentation of our research-teaching-extension project applied to Porto Seguro, Bahia, which integrates the actors of public schools, university students and life stories. A hipotese norteadora aponta que tal dialogo promove no campo da estrutura textual uma tensao poetica atraves das aproximacoes e afastamentos entre as gestas. Para isto foram utilizados referenciais teoricos como Genette (2010), que analisa os procedimentos com os quais a estrutura textual e reorganizada a partir da transtextualidade; Silva e Ramalho (2007), que refletem sobre as nuances e evolucoes do genero epico desde Anchieta ate a contemporaneidade; alem de outros autores que analisaram o dialogo do modernismo brasileiro com os textos coloniais escritos sobre e no Brasil. A analise permitiu vislumbrar uma construcao de personagens que se distancia da idealidade proposta em Anchieta, redimensionando as personagens a uma perspectiva mais humana e menos heroica, o que propicia uma releitura deste momento historico sob diferentes vislumbres. Abstract: This paper aims to discuss Cecilia Meireles’ re-reading of the epic by Jose Anchieta, De Gestis Mendi de Saa , in his unfinished work Cronica Trovada da Cidade de Sam Sebastian , especially the part entitled “Gesta de Men de Saaˮ. The guiding hypothesis points out that such dialogue promotes in the field of textual structure a poetic tension through approximation and separation of both epic narratives. For this, Genette (2010), which analyzes the procedures in which the structures are reorganized from the transtextuality; Silva e Ramalho (2007) which reflects on the nuances and evolutions of the epic genre from Anchieta to contemporaneousness; as well as other works that discuss the dialogue between Brazilian modernism and the colonial literature about Brazil were used as theoretical reference. The analysis allowed us to glimpse a character construction that distances itself from the ideality proposed in Anchieta's work, resizing the characters to a more human and less heroic perspective, which allows a rereading of this historical moment under different glimpses. Para tanto, afirma-se que uma análise que promova um conhecimento mais compatível com o uso efetivo da língua deve surgir de uma abordagem semasiológica – que investiga as potencialidades funcionais de dada forma – e ser complementada por uma análise onomasiológica – que investiga as construções vinculadas a dado domínio funcional. Por meio desse duplo eixo investigativo é possível conhecer não apenas o funcionamento de uma forma, mas avaliar o tipo de interação que mantém com outras construções na língua. Quando se trata do pretérito perfecto, a abordagem semasiológica permite o conhecimento dos diferentes usos das formas simples e composta e identificar possíveis pontos de aproximação funcional (antepresente e passado absoluto). Contudo é apenas a análise onomasiológica que revela a dimensão da aproximação dessas formas, posto que nos contextos temporais de antepresente e passado absoluto uma e/ou outra forma verbal pode(m) surgir, com diferentes proporções, conforme a variedade da língua investigada.Palavras-chave: gramaticografia; tempo verbal; pretérito perfecto; língua espanhola.Abstract: This paper evaluates and questions the descriptive treatment given to the tenses of Spanish, with special attention to the compound (he estado) and simple (estuve) forms of the pretérito perfecto. For this purpose, it is affirmed that an analysis that fosters some knowledge that is more compatible with the effective use of the language must arise from a semasiological approach – which investigates the functional potentialities of a linguistic form – and be complemented by an onomasiological analysis – which investigates the constructions related to a functional domain. Through this double investigative axis, it is possible to know the functioning of a form and to evaluate the type of interaction that it maintains with other constructions in the language. When it comes to the pretérito perfecto, the semasiological approach shows the different uses of the simple and compound forms and identifies possible points of functional approximation (ante-present and absolute past). Nesta pesquisa, propõe-se o estudo do léxico da moda do século XIX no Brasil baseado nas teorias da Lexicologia e na Moda; fazendo uma análise sobre os itens lexicais que se refiram às vestimentas encontradas em Memórias póstumas de Brás Cubas, de Machado de Assis (1994) e Lucíola, de José de Alencar (1988). Os resultados das reflexões permitem a compreensão da dinâmica social da sociedade da época e do estabelecimento da língua portuguesa brasileira independente da variedade continental.Palavras-chave: léxico; moda; literatura; século XIX.Abstract: Fashion, with its own language, establishes a group identity within the society and the period in which it is set. Moreover, it is a way of communication between an individual and the world around them. This research aims at the study of the lexicon of nineteenth-century fashion in Brazil, based on the theories of Lexicology and Fashion, on a collection of lexical items referring to clothes found in Memórias póstumas de Brás Cubas (The Posthumous Memoirs of Bras Cubas), Machado de Assis (1994), and Lucíola, José de Alencar (1988). Muitos outros fatores fonéticos, morfológicos e semânticos também são levados em consideração. O primeiro dicionário da língua portuguesa, de Jerônimo Cardoso, não é uma exceção a essa regra. O aspecto aparentemente caótico da ordenação, na verdade, revela decisões teóricas antes do estabelecimento da futura aplicação radical da ordem alfabética e, de modo algum, aponta para falta de conhecimento ou de habilidade do autor. Pretende-se, neste artigo, apresentar alguns critérios empregados por Cardoso e, com isso, contribuir para conhecer não apenas sua erudição, mas também alguns dos pressupostos linguísticos da sua época.Palavras-chave: Jerônimo Cardoso; lexicografia; historiografia da linguística; português quinhentista; ordem alfabética.Abstract: Dictionaries of the sixteenth century are generally not alphabetically ordered in a strict sense. Many other Phonetic, Morphologic and Semantic features are also taken into account. The first dictionary of the Portuguese language, by Jerônimo Cardoso, is not an exception to that rule. The apparently chaotic aspect of its ordering in fact reveals theoretical decisions before the future radical determination of the alphabetical order and there is absolutely no point in interpreting it as author’s lack of knowledge or ability. For this purpose, two of the singer’s musical career albums were selected, being one from his career in the group Titãs and the other from his solo career. Subsequently, one song was randomly selected from each album and the linguistic mechanisms that possibly enhanced the speaker’s self-image construction were identified and analyzed. Finally, the discursive ethos profile that emerges from linguistic materialities was interpreted. In order to achieve such objective, the theoretical assumptions from the Linguistics of Enunciation were used as basis, mainly from Émile Benveniste’s theory and his definitions of “language”, “enunciation” and “subjectivity”. Moreover, other theoretical branches were adopted for the concept of ethos, from the Discourse Analysis perspective, by Dominique Maingueneau (2005) and debreagem, from Semiotics, by Greimas e Courtés (2008). To support the methodological parameter, Carlo Guinzburg’s (1989) indiciary paradigm was used.
