For a given predicting item, an informative association rule set by Jiuyong Li et. al, (2001) is the smallest association rule set that makes the same prediction as the entire association rule set by confidence priority. To hide association rules, previously proposed algorithms based on a priori approach require multiple scanning of database to calculate the supports of the large itemsets. In this work, we propose using a pattern-inversion tree to store related information so that only one scan of database is required. Numerical experiments show that the performance is more efficient than previous algorithms with similar side effects","PeriodicalId":402255,"journal":{"name":"2006 IEEE International Conference on Information Reuse & Integration","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2006-12-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116555551","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A home automation system controlling household energy is proposed. It is decomposed into three layers: anticipation, reactive and device layers. This paper deals with an anticipation layer that allocates energy by taking into account predicted events. It consists in computing both the starting times of some services and in determining set points of others while satisfying the maximal power constraint. A constraint satisfaction problem formulation has been proposed. Because the complexity is NP-hard, a tabu search is used to solve the problem. It maximizes user comfort and minimizes energy cost. The semantic tagging, based on hidden Markov model (HMM), is performed on the text that has been tagged with unified medical language system (UMLS), part-of-speech (POS), and abbreviation tags. It reuses UMLS, POS, abbreviation, clue words, and numerical information to produce higher level concept information. Our unknown phrase guessing method for a robust tagger also uses the existing information calculated in the training data. However, current knowledge capture is limited to mostly functional knowledge. Knowledge reuse is also often manual and limited to low-scale small model fragments. This paper presents a goal-object pattern framework that captures both functional and non-functional requirements knowledge that is modeled using UML and a goal-oriented method. Patterns in this framework are a collection of model refinement methods, each defining a single model element generation step in the target model. The patterns are model-driven in that they are defined using a UML metamodel and then used as such. The framework also supports incremental knowledge capture in that large-grain patterns can be composed from fine-grain ones, and also application-independent patterns can be specialized into application-specific ones. The framework is illustrated using a simplified on-line bookstore application to demonstrate how large-scale reuse may be possible","PeriodicalId":402255,"journal":{"name":"2006 IEEE International Conference on Information Reuse & Integration","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2006-12-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130901310","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For easy channel extension and new product release, insurance product line engineering was launched. In this paper, we describe experiences of product line engineering. Specially, this paper proposes ACM (adaptable component model) to deal with variability of component applying with rule concept. For component reuse, variability management is most important in product line engineering. It is a basic and essential principle to identify common elements as components and to make them assets of product line. But the problem is that it is not easy to identify what are the variable parts of components and to handle them. These days, business rule is getting more critical key for successful RTE (real time enterprise). It means separating rules can make easy change or fast adapt to new business context without modifying application. The elements of variability which change with each application are viewed as variability of business rules. Therefore, when there is need to change business requirements in product line; this is resolved through rule changes","PeriodicalId":402255,"journal":{"name":"2006 IEEE International Conference on Information Reuse & Integration","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2006-12-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128724595","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These applications can also use many different tools available in the domain of molecular biology to analyze and format the information extracted from these data sources. This diversity of data sources and tools make difficult the integration of them on the applications of this domain. Willing to solve this problem, this paper presents a framework of components called FrameEST, based on the MVC (model view control) pattern that not only integrates data and tools, but also support the development based on reuse. The FrameEST was built using the JavaServer Faces (view and control layers), JavaBeans and Enterprise JavaBeans (model layer) technologies to facilitate the reuse of software. The proposed approach helps overcome the differences of granularity degrees of clusters in ontology that most ontology-based measures do not concern. The approach is based on 3 features (1) cross-modified path length feature between the concept nodes, (2) a new features: the common specificity feature of two concept nodes in the ontology hierarchy, and (3) the local granularity of the clusters. The experimental evaluations using benchmark human similarity datasets confirm the correctness and the efficiency of the proposed approach, and show that our semantic measure outperforms the existing techniques. Very few techniques exist to support forensic analysis of unknown executable files. The existing techniques primarily inspect executable files to detect known signatures or are based on metadata information. A key goal of such forensic investigation is to identify malicious executable files that hackers might have installed in a targeted system. Finding such malware in a compromised system is difficult because it is hard to identify the purpose of the fragments of executable files. In this paper, we present a similarity-based technique that analyzes targeted executable files to identify a malware present in a compromised system. The technique involves assigning a similarity value to the fragments of executable files present in a compromised hard disk against a set of source files. We present some results based on the comparison of assembly instruction sequences of well-known hacking tools with those of various executable files, and suggest various ways to reduce the false positives","PeriodicalId":402255,"journal":{"name":"2006 IEEE International Conference on Information Reuse & Integration","volume":"52 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2006-12-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123903362","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
