The CFST members exhibit advantages such as stiffness, strength, capacity, and ductility compared to conventional steel and reinforced concrete members. The study uses CATIA V5 software for modelling the truss specimens, and ANSYS software for finite element analysis. The main parameters examined include shear span ratio, angle between brace and chord, presence of infilled concrete, subsequent flexural behavior, and material interaction. The moment of resistance of the CFST truss with braces is calculated using the working stress method, and a design table for ultimate load carrying capacity of different circular sections is generated. The study aims to understand the effects of shear span ratio, angle of chord, brace, and presence of infill concrete on the CFST chord and brace girder.","PeriodicalId":39883,"journal":{"name":"Tuijin Jishu/Journal of Propulsion Technology","volume":"94 9","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"138605944","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Paradigm change as a burden is transformed into an asset. In its implementation, it does not follow the guidelines for structuring and empowering street vendors. This research aims to examine and analyze the factors of facilitative leadership in the contingency model of collaborative governance by elaborating on collaborative governance that brings together and directs stakeholders and the private sector in structuring street vendors (PKL). The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with case study methods and data collection techniques using literature studies, interviews, observations, FGDs, and triangulation. The research results found that the need for an \"Executor\" Leader according to experts is that collaborative abilities are very important for Execution. Facilitative Leadership has a very important role in the Initial Conditions dimension. The new findings in this research place elements of the leader's background together with power asymmetries and a history of cooperation/conflict as a basis that can hinder or support the collaborative process that is built. This study presents a meticulous approach for evaluating anchorage zone stresses, particularly bursting and spalling stresses, utilizing three-dimensional stress distribution using FE analysis employing the ABAQUS program. The effectiveness of the finite element model was verified through a mesh sensitivity analysis. In the evaluation of anchorage zone stresses, multiple anchorage zone reinforcement configurations were meticulously modeled, encompassing distribution ratios (the ratio of the depth of the anchor plate to that of the anchorage zone) spanning from 0.2 to 0.9. This comprehensive analysis facilitated the examination of stress variations, specifically bursting and spalling stresses, across the span of the anchorage zone. Various attempts were made to mitigate these stresses, employing innovative reinforcement configurations, which were systematically compared with conventional counterparts. The outcomes of this study distinctly illustrate that regions experiencing excessive stress levels are efficiently managed with the implementation of suitable reinforcement configurations. The results demonstrate that both bursting and spalling stresses can be effectively controlled in post-tensioned specimens' anchorage zones, achieving reductions of 62% and 33%, respectively, through the strategic deployment of proposed advanced reinforcement configurations.","PeriodicalId":39883,"journal":{"name":"Tuijin Jishu/Journal of Propulsion Technology","volume":"47 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"138605304","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Soil stabilization is a critical aspect of construction and land management, especially in regions where red soil predominates. Due to its pozzolanic qualities, the by-product of sugarcane processing known as bagasse ash has demonstrated potential as a soil stabilizer. Guar gum (GG) and Xanthan gum (XG), natural biopolymers, have demonstrated promise in improving soil engineering characteristics. This research contributes to the evolving field of sustainable soil stabilization techniques, offering insights into the potential of bagasse ash and biopolymers in mitigating soil-related challenges. In the current study, Xanthum gum (XG) and Guar gum (GG) in varied percentages was employed in experimental experiments on red soil as a material for soil improvement. In this investigation, soil was also replaced with Bagasse ash up to 10% of its volume and its strength attributes were assessed. It was found through studies utilizing different Biopolymers concentrations (XG & GG) the soil's strength was improved.","PeriodicalId":39883,"journal":{"name":"Tuijin Jishu/Journal of Propulsion Technology","volume":"21 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"138605697","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Temperature fluctuations significantly impact the rigid pavement, leading to distresses such as cracking, deformation, and reduced service life. This experimental study aims to investigate the effects of temperature variations on the behavior of rigid pavement and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues. The objective of this research is to analyze the behavioral response of rigid pavement under controlled temperature changes. To achieve this objective, a representative section of rigid pavement was selected for testing. The pavement sample was constructed according to standard specifications, ensuring it accurately represents real-world conditions. The sample consisted of typical layers found in a rigid pavement structure, including the concrete slab, base, and sub base layers. The collected data was analyzed to understand the effects of temperature changes on the rigid pavement. Statistical analysis and visualization techniques were employed to identify patterns, trends, and correlations between temperature variations and the observed behavioral changes. The analysis provided insights into the susceptibility of rigid pavements to temperature-induced distress, such as thermal cracking and differential expansion.","PeriodicalId":39883,"journal":{"name":"Tuijin Jishu/Journal of Propulsion Technology","volume":"53 11","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"138604826","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It has been found that some topological indices of a molecular graph are closely related to many physicochemical properties of its chemical compounds. From this relation, it arises the important inverse topological indices problem, that carry out a thorough search of the existence of a graph having its index value equal to a given integer. In this paper, we are interested in solving this problem for the first, second and third leap Zagreb indices of connected graphs. We are also restricting the solutions to trees and unicyclic graphs. It is shown that for every even non-negative integer k there exists a graph having its first leap Zagreb index value equal to k. For every non-negative integer k, except 2, there exists a graph having its second leap Zagreb index value equal to k and for every non-negative integer k, except 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 17, there exists a graph having its third leap Zagreb index value equal to k. The Desire for enormous and intricate constructions in the present construction industry situation often leads to extreme concreting conditions. It can be tricky to ensure that an enormous quantity of heavy reinforcement in a reinforced concrete (RC) section is properly compacted without voids or honeycombs. Compaction by hand or mechanical vibrators is difficult in this situation. As a result, a new form of concrete dubbed self-compacting concrete (SCC) is designed. This concrete swiftly flows around the reinforcement and traverse the formwork's extremities.
