These fast-growing abnormal cell masses disrupt normal brain function. Doctors use various imaging techniques to identify the specific type, size, and location of brain tumors in patients. Accurately identifying and classifying brain tumors is crucial for understanding how they develop and progress. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), a well-established medical imaging technique, plays a vital role in this process by assisting radiologists in investigating the location of the tumor. Previous models frequently encounter a compromise between accuracy and computational efficiency, lacking an approach that successfully integrates both aspects.This study introduces an innovative ensemble model termed as “XMob Approach” that combines the deep features extraction abilities of Xception with computational efficiency of MobleNet for binary classification of brain Tumor. The Xmob Approach leverages the strengths of both architectures : Xception depthwise seperable convolutions allow for detailed feature extraction whereas MobileNet’s lightweight structure ensures efficient computation making it suitable for real life application. This combination aims to enhance in medical diagnostics, promising enhanced accuracy and efficiency. This study explores the potential of integrating these pre-trained architectures to provide real-time, automated diagnostic assistance, improving the speed and precision of brain tumor detection. In our methodology pre-processed MRI scans undergo feature extraction through Xception model, capturing complicated patterns indicative of tumor presence. Simultaneously MobileNet processed these images emphasizing computational efficiency without compromising on performance.The output of both the modesl are then integrated using ensemble technique to improve overall classification accuracy. By integrating the complementary strengths of Xception and MobileNet , the XMob Approach represent a significant step towards the field of medical diagnostic promising improved outcomes for patients through advanced technology.\u0000DOI: https://doi.org/10.52783/tjjpt.v45.i03.7253","PeriodicalId":39883,"journal":{"name":"Tuijin Jishu/Journal of Propulsion Technology","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141837806","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this context, Physical Unclonable Functions (PUFs) are widely used hardware security primitives that can be used to solve a wide range of security issues. To support hardware security solutions, this paper presents an extensive overview and analysis of the existing Physical Unclonable Functions (PUFs) used as True Random Number Generators (TRNGs). Recognizing the shortcomings of current PUF designs, we propose a configurable Arbiter PUF design employing Digital Clock Manager (DCM)-induced metastability as an entropy source, presenting a robust solution for evolving hardware security. To mitigate the adverse consequences of metastability, the proposed Arbiter PUF includes a Carry Chain primitive with four Flip-Flop clones. Acknowledging the constantly evolving IoT and Blockchain environment, the suggested configurable Arbiter PUF is made to satisfy the highest security standards. By exploiting the inherent variations in FPGA technology, we aim to reduce system resource and area consumption, aligning with the efficiency criteria of modern applications. The system's performance is additionally enhanced by an on-chip post-processing based on DSP. Simulation results demonstrate successful implementation on a Xilinx Basys-3 FPGA board, offering a scalable and efficient solution. The generated sequences of the proposed PUF undergo rigorous testing, including National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) statistical tests for uniqueness, reliability, and randomness.  This holistic approach aims to improve the PUF's performance and security. \u0000 ","PeriodicalId":39883,"journal":{"name":"Tuijin Jishu/Journal of Propulsion Technology","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139960734","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For estimation, the study analysed an unbalanced panel of 219 non-financial listed firms on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) for 2008-2021. Fixed effect regression with robust standard errors clustered at the firm level is applied to address the concerns of heteroscedasticity and autocorrelation. Findings show that overall managerial ability enhances firm performance. Furthermore, research has established a positive correlation between CSR and a company's financial performance. In addition, the interaction between M.A. and CSR has a substantial positive correlation with F.P. The results reveal that CSR positively moderates the linkage between M.A. and F.P. and behaves as a complement. The ongoing research is limited to the non-financial sector; however, the study findings are unquestionably valuable for corporate investors and managers in the context of developing economies. ","PeriodicalId":39883,"journal":{"name":"Tuijin Jishu/Journal of Propulsion Technology","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"138984363","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study focuses on formulating a design methodology and aid for recovering shear capacity losses resulting from openings in existing solid deep beams. A novel design approach involves the implementation of steel elementary configurations around the openings in deep beams, enhancing their shear resistance. The study employs a systematic investigation, integrating simulation through the ABAQUS program, to assess the effectiveness of the proposed steel configurations in restoring shear capacity. The research explores three distinct steel configurations, emphasizing the synergy between concrete and steel materials. Concrete Damage Plasticity models, incorporated within ABAQUS, enable detailed quasi-static analysis to unravel the intricate behaviour of deep beams subjected to shear openings and strengthened with proposed steel formations. Specifically, a deep beam model featuring a combination of a full-length steel plate welded with a steel cylinder around the opening (EDSBPD) exhibited full capacity restoration, achieving an efficiency of 1.0064 compared to solid deep beams. Leveraging ABAQUS simulations and adhering to ACI 318-14 specifications, a parametric study was conducted to investigate the EDSBPD for design assistance. This study led to the development of a dimensionless equation that calculates the shear strength of deep beams, accounting for the impact of the thickness-to-width ratio of the steel configuration around the opening. This equation provides a valuable tool for incorporating openings into solid deep beams without compromising shear strength.","PeriodicalId":39883,"journal":{"name":"Tuijin Jishu/Journal of Propulsion Technology","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"138605258","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Apart from the corrosion, the tidal forces on the structures act as the  cyclic loading  which in turn damage the structures by way of cyclic loading. There are two types of  cyclic loading, which are  constant amplitude and varying amplitude. In this experiment,  cyclic loading was taken  with Constant amplitude. Strengthening the corroded beams  on tension  face ie below the beams with GFRP  laminates improve the cyclic life of the beams. In this paper, the non linear finite element analysis (ANSYS) for the corroded high performance concrete beams under cyclic loading  to predict the cyclic life of the beams. The results were compared with the experimental results with regard to cyclic life and Maximum deflection. It is found that it is  reasonably agreeable. All these reactors pose a problem of shock loading, when the high COD organic industrial waste is fed in to the reactor. Further, the normal substrates like glucose, sewage, citric acid may result in addition of a large volume of the substrate solution for a given organic loading. Both these problems are solved by adopting molasses, a typical by-product from the sugar industry. Among the bio-reactors to treat high strength waste waters, the Up-flow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket Reactor (UASBR), has received wide popularity for the treatment of domestic waste waters as well as for a variety of industrial wastewaters. This paper is to present a cogent and a clear picture of the startup and steady state operation of an UASB Reactor with molasses as the initial startup substrate for the development of well settleable sludge granules, the major feature of an UASB Reactor. The UASB reactor was fabricated in transparent Plexiglas. The reactor had a working volume of 9.75 liters with provision of ports for input, output, collection of samples, and collection of gas. Inside the settler, a gas-liquid-solid separation system using a glass funnel and a gas pressurizing plexiglass tube was provided. The aim was to granulate the sludge and acclimatizing it completely to take high organic loading. The feed was supplemented with a fixed COD: N: P ratio by adding urea for nitrogen and KH2PO4 for phosphorous.  The HRT was fixed to be 8 hours. The reactor temperature was maintained at 35 ± 20oC. In about 55 days, the buttery seed sludge got granulated at an OLR of 8 g COD/l.day.  The SEM of the granules exhibited a mixed morphology on the surface of the granules while filamentous Methanothrix proliferation could be clearly seen in the interior of the granule. Methanoceata and Methanothrix are the two dominant species found in the granules.","PeriodicalId":39883,"journal":{"name":"Tuijin Jishu/Journal of Propulsion Technology","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"138605853","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
