Two groups with high and average level of cognitive flexibilism were distinguished on the sample of 166 students on the basis of cluster analysis. The features of internal correlation factors between the indicators considered in the study in the groups distinguished by the level of flexibilism were shown. The greatest number of connections was found between the indices of general flexibilism and students’ intrinsic motivation, with implicit notions of intelligence and personality, and negatively with maladaptive coping. Regression analysis showed that predictors having the greatest influence on flexibilism are «Motivation for achievement», «Acceptance» of the theory of \"increasing intelligence\", \"Vigilance\" and \"Extrinsic motivation\".","PeriodicalId":396792,"journal":{"name":"Vestnik Yaroslavskogo gosudarstvennogo universiteta im. In the modern world, this pairing is changing connection with the formation of a civilized nation and a civil religion. Recently appears a concept according to which both religion and nationality are ideologies, which also causes their interaction and interpenetration, but on a different level. The question of whether religion is a defining, distinctive feature of a nation worries not only theorists. It finds its refraction in the practical plane and in the life of different nations and especially people who live in an alien confessional environment. It is also important to understand the influence of nationality on the choice and preservation of religious affiliation. Will examine these questions of the issue of religious-national mutual influence on the example of the East Slavic peoples (Russians, Belarusians, Ukrainians) who lived and live on the territory of Poland. We will try to understand whether it is possible to put an equal sign between the concepts of \"Orthodox\" and \"Russian\" in the studied historical contexts, and to call the Orthodox faith and the Church in these territories \"Russian\". The article examines the ethnoreligious dimension of the political context, in particular, the influence of state acts on the Orthodox Church and believers who lived in Poland in various historical periods. An attempt is made to identify the features of the relationship between the Orthodox religion and the Church as an institution with the process of preserving and modernizing the national identity of the East Slavic (Ukrainians, Belarusians, Russians) peoples of Poland. The analysis of its evolution during the XV-XXI centuries is carried out in changing geopolitical conditions (including the changes of borders).","PeriodicalId":396792,"journal":{"name":"Vestnik Yaroslavskogo gosudarstvennogo universiteta im. The formation and further development of the racial identity of London Africans went through several levels over the centuries. The background of their origin can be traced back to the 16th century. The beginning of the slave trade suspended the processes aimed at the formation of the racial identity of blacks - Africans were forced to adapt to the new realities of their existence. Elements of African racial identity in London reappeared in the last quarter of the eighteenth century. The acquisition of the racial identity took place among the intellectuals, while other groups of Africans (students, servants, workers, the African poor) embarked on the path of consolidation. At the turn of the 19th - 20th centuries. racial self-consciousness has acquired relatively mature features, having passed from the individual level to the collective level.","PeriodicalId":396792,"journal":{"name":"Vestnik Yaroslavskogo gosudarstvennogo universiteta im. Churches that he ordered to be built in the conquered cities of Livonia in 1577. This practice characterizes some features of the Tsar’s religiosity. In most cases, when choosing such dedications, he was guided by the church calendar, but he did it arbitrarily, following his personal preferences. These preferences were expressed in the fact that the tsar dedicated a significant part of the churches to the Mother of God and Russian saints.","PeriodicalId":396792,"journal":{"name":"Vestnik Yaroslavskogo gosudarstvennogo universiteta im. On the one hand, it’s a pest that should be eliminated by all means, and magical methods peacefully coexisted with rational ones. On the other hand, according to the peasants with their mythological thinking, there was also a benefit from cockroaches. Remarkably that black cockroaches were considered more useful, they were perceived as a symbol of prosperity and patrons of livestock. Red or German cockroaches were perceived as more harmful and methods of getting rid of pests were applied to them in the first place. All this proves the binary perception of cockroaches which were close to the mythological world and its inhabitants and, accordingly, acted as bearers of both harm and good.","PeriodicalId":396792,"journal":{"name":"Vestnik Yaroslavskogo gosudarstvennogo universiteta im. The debatable nature of this issue in the legal doctrine is shown - from the complete denial of the possibility of creating a high-quality and effective codified act in an unstable era, to the admission of their development under certain conditions and recognition of the transition period as the most favorable for the purposes of codification. There is a lack of unified approaches to understanding the essence of the transition period, clear criteria for distinguishing it from related concepts and other periods of social development identified by scientists («stabilization», «the beginning of a new order of relations», etc.). The article draws attention to the fact that the need of society for legal certainty, in an orderly and appropriate to specific historical conditions legislation exists regardless of the era experienced by society, and the transition period in this case cannot be considered an exception. When deciding on codification, it is important to take into account not only the state of society, but other factors (the quality of the current code, the availability of material for a new codification, the level of development of legal doctrine in the country, the existing experience of codification, legal regulation and law enforcement in a particular area, etc.). It is important to develop the conceptual aspects of codification and its strategic directions taking into account the transitional state of society. Legal science has a key role to play in solving these issues.","PeriodicalId":396792,"journal":{"name":"Vestnik Yaroslavskogo gosudarstvennogo universiteta im. P. G. Demidova.
