Chayanov and N.D. Kondratiev to the implementation of land and agrarian reform, which was being prepared in Russia after the February Revolution of 1917. The views of economists on the purpose and objectives of the reform, methods of its implementation and socio-economic consequences are considered. Special attention is paid to the methodological principles of reforming agrarian relations, the correlation of land and agrarian reform, the role of peasant labor economy as the main beneficiaries of transformations, as well as methods of socialization of land and the principles of its transfer into the hands of the peasantry. The importance of the scientific heritage of A.V. Chayanov and N.D. The resources of the environment are finite. Sometimes, in pursuit of profit, enterprises cut down forests, which affects the flora and fauna, it is necessary to dispose of, recycle waste, and they are buried, polluting water resources with industrial discharges — all this is a negative external impact that manifests itself in causing damage to the environment. It is easy and simple to cause great damage to nature, but it will take a long time to restore it. Therefore, when developing an environmental policy in Russia, the mandatory components are the formation of the necessary legal framework, the adaptation of the experience of developed countries in the legal sphere (including environmental standards and instruments). According to the forecasts of these organizations, depopulation awaits Russia. The article presents calculations carried out by scientists of the CEMI RAS based on a demographic agent-­based model.The first scenario is associated with the initiation of the process of deurbanization, which involves an increase in the proportion of people living in rural areas, the second — with a gradual increase in the volume of medical services provided. The article also describes scenarios for the development of demographic systems in most countries of the world, obtained on the basis of an agent-­based model created by scientists from the CEMI RAS, and foreign experience in stimulating the birth rate. It is concluded that it is difficult to isolate the influence of a single factor on the increase in the total fertility rate.
