As one of potential sources of foreign exchange, tourism sector in Indonesia become necessary to foster the Indonesian’s economic growth. Declining in number of local tourist is not as matter as foreign tourist since it has a potential source of foreign exchange. Gravity model of travel cost for foreign tourism is estimated using panel data consisting of eight countries during 2009-2016. Data are obtained from Statistics Indonesia (BPS) and the World Bank data. The results show that, GDP per capita of both domestic and foreigners also population are signiﬁcant factors that increase foreign tourists demand. One of a signiﬁcant factor that lower the number of foreign tourist visiting Indonesia is the distance from the origin country foreigner travelled from. In addition, the appreciation of Indonesia (domestic) exchange rate against $US also decrease foreign tourism demand. This research suggests that, Indonesian policy should provide a guarantee of airline access for tourists in order to attract more visitors. In this study, social movements that lead to education are the core of this research. The purpose of this study is to discuss the social movements that can use the concept or contract that is used in the ﬁeld of information technology to become a platform to support the work of social movements. The researcher looked at some references related to the use of information technology in the ﬁeld of social movements. In this study using the blockchain as a concept that is a reference for social movements namely Gerakan Fun School which supports world education there are currently many uses of the blockchain concept in various ﬁelds, apart from ﬁnance, there are also health and energy ﬁelds that have used the blockchain concept as well as growth community that uses the blockchain concept that is very fast and easy to spread, like bitcoin. The Fun School Movement (GSM) is a reference to be a case study in this study because the growth of the movement is quite fast and this movement makes it easy for the government to make schools fun for students who go to school. This social movement has several agreements with the blockchain from aspects of their approval or freedom to make social changes. This research proposes a combination of Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) method with the Backpropagation (BP) method to improve forecasting performance in terms of accuracy. BP algorithm is a supervised learning algorithm which is have good performance for pattern recognition. In some researches, FCM is more efficient and clustering results are better than other methods. However, FCM has a disadvantage that clustering results are affected by clustering configurations, such as the number of clusters. Therefore it is necessary to do cluster validation. One of popular cluster validation method is Xie-Beni (XB) index. In this paper, we propose a forecasting system by combining the validated FCM algorithm using the XB index method with the BP algorithm. The data are grouped using FCM with number of clusters 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10. Then, the clustering results validated using XB and find the most suited number of clusters for the data. Each cluster becomes the input of the BP neural network for forecasting process.
