It is characterized by physical symptoms such as exhaustion, fatigue, frequent headache, and gastrointestinal disorders, sleeplessness and behavioral signs include frustration, anger, a suspicious attitude omnipotence or overconfidence, cynicism and signs of depression. \u0000Methods: This is a descriptive cross-sectional hospital-based study. The data was collected from 100 Physicians by a questionnaire specially prepared for the purposes of this study. Filling out the questionnaires was distributed by the research team in person. The questionnaire consisted of 27 questions, with 9 questions attributed to each of the 3 risk factors (Depersonalization, Emotional Exhaustion, and Personal Accomplishment). Data was analyzed by using SPSS program version 26 and the result was represented in tables and figures. \u0000Results: (72%) of the participant were females and (28 %) were males, age ranged between 2 and more than 51 years, age was categorized into three groups 20–30 (73%), 31–40 (20%) and 41–50 (5%) and more than 50 (2%). Participants were distributed in 6 different specialties with Pediatrics as the most represented specialty (18%). In the level of profession most of the participant were house officer (42%) followed by registrar (32%) and the least were specialist (4%). Levels of emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, (77 %) of the sample had a high level of (EE), (54%) had a high level of (DP), and (14 %) had a low level of (PA). (19%) of the residents included in this study had a high level of burnout in all three do- mains of the index, and (93%) had a high level in at least one of the three. The high level of each burnout components distributed according to the research different demographic variables and the results of the inferential statistical tests. Males had higher levels of EE (82.8%), and DP (55%), and lower levels of PA (14.9%) than females (71.6%), (54%), (12.1%) respectively. \u0000Conclusion: In conclusion, our study showed that burn out is highly prevalent among Ibrahim Malik hospital doctors, while female doctors had a higher degree burnout than males. Among the different professional levels, the highest percentage of burnout belonged to GPs and the lowest belonged to consultants .ER doctors suffered the most from burnout, whereas surgeons suffered the least. Several factors attributing to the burnout symptoms of these doctors have been identified.

Three study questions were developed to evaluate this relationship, and three null hypotheses were tested at a 0.05 level of significance. The results of this study could be used to better appreciate the value of marriage as a union between a man and woman that promotes both mental and physical health through marital satisfaction. \u0000Methodology: For this study, a correlational research design was used in order to explore the relationship between emotional intelligence, general self-efficacy, and marital satisfaction. A sample of 1,344 married teachers was selected from a population of 6,987 married teachers through a multi-stage sampling procedure. Three instruments - the emotional intelligence scale (EIS), the general self-efficacy scale (GSS), and the index of marital satisfaction (IMS)—were used to collect data. These instruments are standardised measures with reliability coefficients of 0.96 for IMS, 0.89 for EIS, and 0.87 for GSS. Data collection was done through a direct delivery approach. Aggregate scores were used to answer research questions, Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficients were used to answer research questions, and regression analysis was used to answer research questions. The hypotheses were tested using the t-test of correlation. This method is used to assess the relationship between two variables, and to determine if the difference between their means is statistically significant. \u0000Results: The study demonstrated that there is a slight yet positive relationship between the emotional intelligence, self-efficacy beliefs, and marital satisfaction of married teachers. \u0000Conclusion: Research findings indicate that emotional intelligence, self-efficacy, and marital satisfaction are positively correlated among married teachers in Anambra State. This positive correlation suggests that couples who are better able to recognise, understand, and manage their own emotions, as well as those of their partner, tend to have higher levels of marital satisfaction. Additionally, higher levels of self-efficacy, or confidence in one's ability to complete tasks or handle difficult situations, may also play a role in the overall satisfaction of the marriage. \u0000Given these findings, it is recommended that counsellors involved in marital counselling motivate and encourage married teachers in Anambra State to take part in seminars and counselling sessions that promote the learning of emotional intelligence and self-efficacy. These sessions can help couples better recognise, understand, and manage their own emotions, as well as those of their partner, and build confidence in their ability to handle difficult situations.

Inter-ethnic clashes, internal displacement, and ethnic tensions have become protracted security challenges of Ethiopia. Particularly, dispersed minorities are principal victims of these challenges. Furthermore, dispersed minorities are invisible in the political process and power sharing specially in regional states. Accordingly, this article delved in to the impacts of national and sub-national constitutions and institutional set up on dispersed minority rights and security. Based on this objective, qualitative method was employed and both primary and secondary data sources were used from multiple sectors and multi-levels including victims (internally displaced persons (IDPs1) in Burayu). Accordingly, the results of the study supposed that national constitution, sub-national constitutions that designed pursue the national constitution are not safeguarding the minority but galvanizing sources of ethnic conflicts and intolerance provided that other factors like ethno-linguistic regional autonomy and its poor implementations, including regional special forces are still contributing for protracted ethnic conflicts and social instability that usually result in minority insecurity and conflict induced internal displacements. Unless Ethiopia amends both federal and regional states constitutions and dissolve Special Forces of regional states, maintaining peace and security, assuring human rights, sustaining horizontal integration among regional states, raising accountability of regional governors and assuring equality and justice of citizens will become a long-drawn-out challenges for national government.

Studying the therapeutic value of owning domestic pets for widowers is urgent, as it can lead to more effective interventions that promote well-being and improve psychological health outcomes. Hence, this study aimed to unravel and explore the life experiences of the widowers and the therapeutic value of owning domestic pets. It employed a qualitative phenomenological approach, utilizing in-depth interviews to collect data from nine (9) widowers. The data was analyzed using a six-phase guide to thematic analysis to come up with themes that explored the experiences of widowers, how pets helped them in coping and their insights. The findings of the study revealed themes that represent the challenges experienced by widowers, namely; (1) desolating experience, and; (2) yearning for affection. On the other hand, it was also revealed that pets have aided widowers to cope with the mentioned challenges; (1) sense of security; (2) relief and delight through pet, and; (3) attachment and companionship. Their insights are, (1) ease loneliness and longing; (2) provide comfort and warmth; and (3) provide entertainment and happiness. Moreover, the study concluded that pets have an influence on the coping capacity of widowers and owning pets keep them from developing pervasive depression and loneliness. Finally, the study recommended community interventions that aim to improve the overall well-being of older adults utilizing pets or non-human companions.

Technology is transforming the way people interact and do their everyday activities. This technological revolution has also transformed the teaching and learning space; now, the effectiveness of traditional teaching method is being challenged. However, technological advances are not universally available leading to a phenomenon called digital divided. In the classroom, empirical evidence has revealed a discrepancy between teachers and learners concerning ownership and use of technological devices. In some cases, teachers have more computer skills than learners; in other cases, learners are embracing technology more than their teachers. This disparity may serve to inhibit rather than facilitate learning. The constructivist paradigm was applied to enhance the dependability of the data and the credibility of the inferences drawn from the data. Purposive sampling technique facilitated select of information-rich participants or teachers who were able to give a detailed account of the digital gap phenomenon in schools. Structured interviews and focus group sessions were used to capture the livid experiences and perspectives of the teachers. Diffusion of innovation theory, technological acceptance model and technological pedagogical content knowledge framework were also used to explain the level of technology acceptance in schools. The findings of the study pointed towards the existence of the digital divide with learners embracing technology much faster than the teachers. Younger teachers were reported to be interested in the use of technology more than long-serving teachers. The paper presents solutions aimed at reducing the digital gap.

One of the common characteristics that Nagas share in culturally diverse region is the practice of customary laws although each tribe differs in varying degree of its usages and practices. Overall customary law act as a keeper and binds the community together. However, customary laws are not always conductive to modern development especially with regards to gender rights. Under customary laws, the distribution of power, status and resources have always been male centred. It is a male dominated arena based on discriminatory rules that invariably pose a great constraint on women to progress equally in the society. Accordingly, against this background, the paper critically analyses Naga traditional and customary law practices from gender perspective and examine its implication on women rights. It evaluates some of its intricate dimension of gendered meaning attached to certain symbolic function in the traditional practices of the Nagas which inadvertently constructed men as naturally superior and thereby resulted in the subjugation of women. Further, the paper attempts to address the impeding gender issues by offering feminist perspective of constructivist approach to culture as a means of alternative solution in the face of conflict between gender rights and customary laws.

As a result, this study investigated the determinants and consequences of irregular migration, human trafficking, and modern slavery in Nigeria in the context of national and international perspectives. Several variables were believed to be determining factors of these events based on what is apparent in the existing literature reviewed, including poverty, low standard of living, insecurity, wealth disparity, leadership flaws, and a low level of education. This paper then concludes that, given the globalising nature of these events (irregular migration, human trafficking, and modern slavery), it would be extraordinarily impossible for any single country to adequately address the tremendous consequences emanating from these social events.

Historically, intimate partner violence has been considered a female victim issue and the concept of female victims is much more recognized in the general population than the concept of male victims. IPV against men is a phenomenon that has received little attention in the academic literature and the media around the world. This paper explores the determinants of Intimate Partner Violence and uses social learning theory to examine dynamics surrounding IPV in male survivors by identifying major areas, and significant players in the male’ survivors’ life that can help understand factors that put them at risk of IPV, which could be entry points for interventions and mitigation strategies. Desk review was used and focused on the current state of knowledge on the determinants and men’s experiences of IPV. Since governments have an obligation to serve all citizens, there is a need to widen the scope of social policy in this area. Governments should continue developing policies with the explicit objective of responding to, preventing, and ending violence against both women and men. However, gender-based analysis approaches to IPV need to consider the impacts of violence on all genders and develop policy-relevant responses to the needs of each, men, and women. Additionally, the study points to the need for research that may be wider in scope, cover more geographical areas and document the experiences of men as victims of IPV. Expand research on male survivors of IPV by encouraging more inclusive research designs that investigate patterns of IPV across the gender spectrum.
