For this purpose, a model of a skull implant was designed. This implant could be used for cranioplasty of bone defects after neurosurgical procedures. The implant is made of a titanium alloy and has an auxetic \"double arrow\" structure. The behavior of the implant was investigated in two cases, under the influence of increased intracranial pressure and impact of an external force. The calculations were made with the finite element method implemented in the SolidWorks 2020 program. Moreover, the natural frequency of the structure was examined in the Comsol Multiphysics program.","PeriodicalId":38508,"journal":{"name":"Vibrations in Physical Systems","volume":"31 1","pages":"2020315-1-2020315-8"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68248828","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The perturbation method for the solution of systems of nonlinear differential equations for problems of determination of amplitude-frequency characteristics is generalized. In a combination of finite element and generalized perturbations methods, a new methodology for solving problems of free geometrically nonlinear vibrations of shells with complex guide geometry was developed and verified. With its help the influence of geometrical parameters of corrugating at circular coordinate on the main frequency of the elongated cylindrical panel is investigated.","PeriodicalId":38508,"journal":{"name":"Vibrations in Physical Systems","volume":"31 1","pages":"2020316-1-2020316-11"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68248978","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This allows a certain previously assumed number of eigenvalues and corresponding eigenvectors to be determined. A shear frame with mass lumped on the storey level with built-in dampers is considered. Dampers are modelled with the classical Zener model. Equations of motion are written in the matrix form and include the internal variables resulting from built-in dampers. The subspace iteration method starts from adopting the number of sought solution for the quadratic eigenproblem, then the starting point of the iteration is determined and the iterative procedure is initiated. In each iterative loop the reduced quadratic eigenproblem with Hermitian matrices is solved by rearranging it into a state space form.","PeriodicalId":38508,"journal":{"name":"Vibrations in Physical Systems","volume":"31 1","pages":"2020313-1-2020313-8"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68249179","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For proper inference about the condition of a given machine element, the registered signals should be undisturbed by signals coming from other components and free from external interference. In the case of simple stationary machines, it is quite simple, but in the case of more complex systems, such as a car, which in addition is in motion, things get complicated In the available literature we find examples of the effectiveness of using ordinary coherence function to separate signals from two independent sources[1,2,3]. This work presents attempt to build an algorithm that uses signals from a multi-point measurement system to analyze multiple coherence functions, which allows to separate signals from various sources. It can then get diagnostic information from the signal thus separated. The effectiveness of the algorithm was tested on a model simulating signal mixing, and then using signal coherence function and knowledge of the transmittance function, the signals were separated.","PeriodicalId":38508,"journal":{"name":"Vibrations in Physical Systems","volume":"31 1","pages":"2020324-1-2020324-8"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68249488","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The survey was conducted using Autodesk Fusion 360. Using the da Vinci robot's construction data, a model was designed taking into account the characteristic dimensions and materials used. The obtained shapes of vibrations for natural frequencies allowed us to predict the influence of resonance phenomenon on the manipulator's arm. The movement of the tool along the wrong track, caused by an increase in vibration amplitude, may adversely affect the operation of the device. The results of the conducted research, therefore, provide information for which natural frequencies the values of these amplitudes increase.","PeriodicalId":38508,"journal":{"name":"Vibrations in Physical Systems","volume":"31 1","pages":"2020205-1-2020205-8"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68248147","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Baroque St Joseph Church of Carmelite Fathers, a minor basilica, is, architecturally and culturally, an exceptional place in Poznań, a city located in western Poland. The church is often used as a concert venue. It underwent an acoustic study with the use of a sound source situated in the presbytery and on the pulpit. The aim of this paper is to present results of acoustic investigations and to compare its acoustic properties with other churches. Acoustic parameters acknowledged as primary values used to assess acoustic properties of a religious building were investigated and then compared with recommended values. Placement of the source in two measurement points rendered it possible to carry out speech intelligibility analyses for a variable position of the sound source, and, in effect, enabled functional assessment of the historic pulpit. Thus obtained results were compared with European Baroque churches whose parameters are available in the literature.","PeriodicalId":38508,"journal":{"name":"Vibrations in Physical Systems","volume":"31 1","pages":"2020228-1-2020228-9"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68248557","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
