A new automatic method of Barkhausen effect signal filtration was investigated. Apart from a classical measurement of Barkhausen effect signal, for which the RMS value is assumed, the signal waveform factor was also used in analyzes. The developed approach to processing the Barkhausen Noise signal has made it possible to obtain more useful diagnostic data than those obtained from the raw signal.","PeriodicalId":38508,"journal":{"name":"Vibrations in Physical Systems","volume":"31 1","pages":"2020106-1-2020106-8"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68247327","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The physical model of the operator's upper limb with 5 degrees of freedom, in accordance with ISO 10068 standard was used. The paper presents the results of theoretical analysis regarding elementary and net displacements for individual directions. Moreover mathematical relationships describing them were determined. The result of the synthesis of these relations and the adopted (in accordance with the standard) physical model of the upper limb is the general matrix form of differential equations of motion of the analysed bio-mechanical system, built using the Lagrange’s equations of the second kind.","PeriodicalId":38508,"journal":{"name":"Vibrations in Physical Systems","volume":"31 1","pages":"2020108-1-2020108-20"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68247470","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the case of a plane system, the flexibility matrix of the vibroinsulator was derived and two typical configurations of machine suspensions: symmetrical and asymmetrical, were analysed. For the case of a spatial motion, the elastic matrix of the vibroinsulator and the method of determining its elements was specified. Due to the non-linear character of the vibroinsulator's work, which is caused by large deformations of elastomeric elements under static loads, the analysis was limited to the surroundings of the work point and linear model. The results of theoretical analyses were confirmed by experimental tests.","PeriodicalId":38508,"journal":{"name":"Vibrations in Physical Systems","volume":"31 1","pages":"2020204-1-2020204-13"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68247894","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is assumed that the dampers are described according to the generalized rheological model. Influence of temperature on the parameters of dampers is taken into account using the frequency-temperature correspondence principle. Isotropic and rectangular plates are analysed in numerical tests included in this study. The natural frequencies and non-dimensional damping ratios are determined for these plates by solving the non-linear eigenproblem using the continuation method. The Finite Element Method is used to determine the stiffness matrix and the mass matrix occurring in the considered eigenproblem. The results of exemplary numerical calculations are presented and discussed at the end of this paper.","PeriodicalId":38508,"journal":{"name":"Vibrations in Physical Systems","volume":"31 1","pages":"2020310-1-2020310-8"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68248705","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Compared to gravity mills they have much lower demand for energy of the milling process, significantly lower mass and several times lower cost of raw materials milling. In addition, they have much greater technological possibilities, which justifies their use in many cases. Apart from a number of advantages, vibration mills have disadvantages. The dynamics of work causes a significant transfer of vibrations to the ground and a major load on the vibrator bearings. As a result, they require temperature monitoring and the use of complex cooling systems. It is possible to reduce these negative effects by using new construction solutions.","PeriodicalId":38508,"journal":{"name":"Vibrations in Physical Systems","volume":"31 1","pages":"2020302-1-2020302-11"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68248353","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The method presented consists in graphic representation of vibrations of subassemblies in the form of a trace on a plane. It is created by associating instantaneous rms values of vibration acceleration and instantaneous Rice frequency values obtained as a result of short-time signal processing. On the basis of the shape, orientation of the created trajectory and / or dispersion / concentration of points on the Rf – arms plane, the type of non-stationarity of generated vibrations can be identified. The presented methodology can be used for testing machine prototypes. The results in the proposed form can be helpful to determine the type of vibration reduction systems for individual machine subassemblies. It is also possible to detect subassemblies for which an increase in machine capacity results in an increase in the level of generated vibrations. The location of the averaged values of measures obtained for a new machine on the Rf – arms plane can be a reference point for further monitoring of machine vibration and for detection of damage or malfunction of its subassemblies.","PeriodicalId":38508,"journal":{"name":"Vibrations in Physical Systems","volume":"31 1","pages":"2020112-1-2020112-10"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68247343","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Any changes in this process cause an increase in the value of vibration amplitude and a change in the distribution of harmonics dominating in the frequency domain. In order to identify selected malfunctions of the internal combustion engine of the Polaris off-road vehicle tested, its current parameters were correlated with the vibrations transmitted to the vehicle's structural elements. An integrated sensor for measuring acceleration using the direct method, made in MEMS technology, was used for the tests. The recorded signals of the acceleration components were subjected to analysis in the frequency domain, thus identifying the characteristic harmonic components in the analyzed spectrum. For the classification of incompleteness based on registered signals, a diagnostic inference matrix based on our own algorithm of conduct was used.","PeriodicalId":38508,"journal":{"name":"Vibrations in Physical Systems","volume":"31 1","pages":"2020110-1-2020110-16"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68247576","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, the dynamic instability of elastic solid is modeled and analyzed based on the benchmark model. It is caused by a continuous stream of vortices (known as von Kármán vortex street). In the presented approach, prerequisites are calculated to meet the necessary conditions for this phenomenon to occur. The main objective of this study is to determine the influence of different Poisson ratios on the intensity of a solid body’s deflection. In the first part, governing equations are presented. The following part describes the model domain as well as assumed parameters with chosen values explanation. The third part presents simulation specific information – mesh and applied options. The conclusion and possible real-life applications are preceded by obtained results.","PeriodicalId":38508,"journal":{"name":"Vibrations in Physical Systems","volume":"31 1","pages":"2020301-1-2020301-11"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68248249","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research group consisted of adolescent female football players who underwent standard FMS assessment by a physiotherapist. In order to objectify the physical performance assessment, a mechanical model was proposed, on the basis of which the parameters supporting the evaluation of the test were defined. The example of the analysis of one of the exercises (push-ups) presented in the paper showed that even the players who obtained the highest marks in the test do not always perform the exercises flawlessly, which is a consequence of subjective assessment made by specialists. The use of a motion capture system together with an appropriate biomechanical model allows for a much more objective assessment of the physical performance and detecting any dysfunction of the movement apparatus of the examined persons.","PeriodicalId":38508,"journal":{"name":"Vibrations in Physical Systems","volume":"31 1","pages":"2020220-1-2020220-11"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68248427","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
