The conventional staining method follows a post-staining protocol that follows gel electrophoresis; pre-cast staining is used as a convenient alternative. Pre-load staining is another method in which a staining dye is added to the 6X loading buffer, and not in the agarose gel. Pre-load staining is simple and time-saving; however, it could alter the mobility of DNA bands within the same gel. In this study, the mobility alteration owing to the use of commercial pre-mixed loading buffers, such as Midori Green Direct, GRGreen DNA loading buffer, and ENVISION DNA dye loading buffer, were evaluated. Lab-prepared 6X loading buffer containing 250X GelRed®dye did not alter the mobility under various experimental conditions. Similarly, 6X loading buffer containing Shinystar and EcodyeTMdid not affect mobility. In conclusion, pre-load staining method is a convenient and practical staining method for routine gel electrophoresis; lab-made 6X loading buffer containing 250X GelRed®could be used for pre-load staining.","PeriodicalId":383838,"journal":{"name":"Korea Industrial Technology Convergence Society","volume":"77 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131051024","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The MI sensor is a principle that detects changes in magnetic field and is a passive sensor that detects metal objects. However, when detecting a metal object, the amount of change in the magnetic field caused by the metal is small, so there is a limit to the detectable distance. In order to effectively detect and analyze this, a method using deep learning was applied. In addition, the performance of the deep learning model was compared and analyzed using the filtering method of signal processing. In this paper, the detection performance of CNN and RNN networks was compared and analyzed from the data extracted from the self-impedance sensor. The RNN model showed higher performance than the CNN model. However, in the shallow stage, the CNN model showed higher performance than the RNN model.","PeriodicalId":383838,"journal":{"name":"Korea Industrial Technology Convergence Society","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123817005","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Because our AI headphone can classify 20 types of dangerous or environmental sounds (e.g., siren, car horn, scream, gunshot, etc.) and recognize specific voice keywords (e.g., person name, be careful!, stop!, etc.), it can assist hearing impaired people in reducing the risk of accident exposure and improving convenience. In addition, we use vibration codes to notify the hearing impaired person of detected information to the vibration motors attached to both sides of the headphone. We confirm that our proposed sound classifier achieves an average accuracy rate of approximately 95.14%, and enables real-time processing on the Raspberry Pi 4B because it requires an average computation time of approximately 0.139s with audio recording data for 5.12s.","PeriodicalId":383838,"journal":{"name":"Korea Industrial Technology Convergence Society","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128560964","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The tools developed in this study provide an opportunity to reduce dependence on overseas products by allowing domestic technology, which lacks optical amplifier technology, to compete with overseas products at a low price. WebAssembly (WASM) is a platform that provides a way to run compilation-based programming languages such as C and C++ in a web browser. We present possible alternatives. The experimental results confirmed that the performance limitations that occur when the existing JavaScript is used in the process of processing large-scale contents in web software are actually very large. In line with the latest trend, the demand for the knowledge and capabilities regarding AI is increasing. In this research, we suggest directions of the education in biotechnology and AI convergence. We employ the focus group interview(FGI) and the in-depth interview(IDI) to investigate the opinions of specialists belonging to biopharmaceutical, medical and AI fields. The results are summarized as follows. The convergence education of AI and biotechnology is presently required to the biotechnology trainee. Advancing into the bio-convergence industry is currently limited to college graduates majored in biotechnology. Specialists participated in this study affirm that bio major students should attain logic and mathematics in studying AI and programming, which leads to the direction of education with the convergence of AI and biotechnology. This research confirmed the AI proficiency required for bioconvergence workers and suggested the direction of vocational education to be implemented for college students and graduates in the future.","PeriodicalId":383838,"journal":{"name":"Korea Industrial Technology Convergence Society","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121462708","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
