The Buntu Burake Religion tourist destination is not only about the tall statue but the beauty of the scenery on the mountain and the glass bridge that stimulates adrenaline makes people come to visit.\u0000Aim: This study aims to find out how Buntu Burake Religious Tourism is managed.\u0000Method: Method used is descriptive, namely the type of research that aims to provide a clear picture of the extent of the community's response to the management of Buntu Burake Tourism.\u0000Findings: The community's responses varied, as for the community's response so that the management of Buntu Burake religious tourism must be improved again, because there are many lacking infrastructure, such as cleanliness in the Burake dead-end religious tourism area, toilets that are rarely used even the water often runs out and trash cans still very lacking. The Government has encouraged conservation efforts towards the woods to cope with this problem. Participation of local people is considered necessary nowadays to understand their attitudes related to such issues. Studies are limited in Indonesia's context, especially in East Kalimantan province's case concerned with a heterogeneous community regarding socioeconomic and limited access to conservation activities.\u0000Aim: This study aims to understand how local people could have different participation and willingness to participate (WTP) as the embodiment of their attitudes towards conservation activities and how their reasons are associated with the heterogenous characteristics by taking the location of Margomulyo Mangrove Conservation Area (MMCA) Balikpapan, East Kalimantan.\u0000Method: This study uses a qualitative approach combining interviews, observation, and document collection methods. The data is analyzed inductively using coding stages from Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña.\u0000Findings: This study reveals positive attitudes by different participation from local people that presented as a heterogenous community. Reasons for involvement vary and are associated mainly with occupation, experiences in mangrove conservation activities that gave them access to the projects, and good networks among local people. Meanwhile, an excellent social relationship contributes to the WTP of local people in the projects with different preference types of activities. Kutanegara, Muhadjir Darwin","doi":"10.55324/iss.v2i11.516","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.55324/iss.v2i11.516","url":null,"abstract":"Background: The existence of strong ethnic factors in Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) and the diversity of dioceses is the basis that cultural intelligence needs to be applied by all soldiers so they can carry out their duties and to be accepted by society.\u0000Aim: This paper aims to determine the cultural intelligence of leaders and explain the urgency of the performance in military organization based on a number of cases in NTT involving the role of the military leadership in solving problems\u0000Method: Using a mixed method with a quantitative descriptive approach which was tested on military leaders at Military Resort Command 161 NTT, the data shows that the cultural intelligence measured using the Cultural Intelligence Scale (CQS) is dominated by moderate leaders.\u0000Findings: In addition, based on the results of statistical tests through correlation-regression tests, it shows that cultural intelligence has a significant effect on leader performance. This shows how urgent cultural intelligence is for soldiers, especially in carrying out their performance directly related to the community. Throughout the process of data collecting, the comparison technique and the descriptive approach are used.\u0000Findings: The most recent results from research in applied linguistics conducted on language instruction are presented here. Teaching the English language is used as an example to integrate it with practical language teaching theory, which then allows for the creation of relevant teaching experiments. According to the experiment results, applied linguistic teaching theory may raise the students' desire for learning, which may boost the efficiency with which they acquire a second language. Students who have high learning independence tend to learn better, are able to monitor, evaluate, and manage their study schedules effectively. More than that, students can estimate the time in working on the project. \u0000Aim: This study aims to examine the effect of the implementation of the project-based learning model on the learning outcomes of entrepreneurial crafts in terms of the learning independence of class X students. \u0000Method: This research is an experimental research with a factorial design method. The research data was obtained through a student learning independence questionnaire and also a student comprehension test. This study involved 32 students who were taken using a random sampling technique. The data were analyzed by using SPSS 26, by conducting descriptive statistical tests, prerequisite tests namely normality and homogeneity tests, and then tested research hypothesis using two-way Anova. \u0000Findings: Project-based learning models are more effective than direct learning models in improving learning outcomes. Project-based learning models provide positive interactions with students' independent learning. Learning outcomes of students with high learning independence shows a significant difference between the Project-based learning and direct learning model. In this era, the phenomenon of betrayal often occurs around us. Betrayal can also occur in all types of human relationships i.e. marriage or romantic relationships, friendships, the world of work, etc.\u0000Aim: This study discusses betrayal in the novel Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher. This study aims to reveal the types of friends' betrayal and to describe the impacts of protagonist's friends.\u0000Method: The researcher uses Larson's theory (2021) which took about the types of betrayal and Reis and Spencer's theory (2009) about the impacts of betrayal. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method to reveling the data. The data is originally taken from the Thirteen Reasons Why novel.\u0000Findings: In this research found five data to reveal the type of betrayal and twelve data to describe the impacts of betrayal. The results of this study indicate that there are two types of betrayal received by Hannah, i.e., intimate partner betrayal and interpersonal betrayal. Holland Bakery offers a variety of interesting products to consumers.\u0000Aim: This study aims to examine the relationship between perceived value and price on repurchase intentions through the mediation of consumer satisfaction moderated by personal selling.\u0000Methods: This research uses quantitative methods. Sampling in this study used the Non Probability Sampling Method with a purposive technique. The population used by the community in Bekasi district. The samples obtained were 100 consumer respondents who consumed Holland Bakery. This research data analysis fully uses SmartPLS 4.0.\u0000Findings: Personal selling can play a role in strengthening the perceived value of consumer repurchase intentions of Sari Roti and BreadTalk brand bread , but not so for Holland Bakery brand products that personal selling has a direct role on repurchase intention. But there is no universally accepted definition of the term CSR.\u0000Aim: This paper examines the impact of corporate social responsibility (CSR) on brand awareness construct of brand equity.\u0000Method: Extant literature reveals that little is known about CSR activities during an industrial crisis like covid-19 pandemic, most of the available research works in this area were carried out on developed countries and in the case of the telecommunication industry in Ghana, the scope of studies appear narrow as individual telecommunication companies were used as case studies and reported findings are inconclusive. Convenience sampling procedure was employed in which questionnaires were administered to 800 respondents across the 16 regions of Ghana.
