In fact, the implementation of DPRD functions does not always run as it should. There is a need for an internal DPRD oversight body to enforce the DPRD's Rules of Procedure and code of ethics. The Ethics Council as one of the permanent apparatuses of the DPRD is expected to be able to guarantee the upholding of the DPRD's rules and code of ethics.\u0000Aim: This research focuses on the reasons for the non-optimal implementation of their duties and authorities.\u0000Method: This legal research uses a non-doctrinal or empirical juridical approach, the type of data used is primary data, secondary data in the form of primary legal materials, secondary legal materials, and tertiary legal materials. Methods of data collection using interview techniques and literature study. The collected data was then analyzed qualitatively.\u0000Findings: The reason or cause for not optimally carrying out the duties and authorities of the DPRD honorary body in enforcing the DPRD's rules and code of ethics is the existence of internal factors including the tendency to be subjective. Whether a region can adequately manage its domestic issues or not depends in part on the effectiveness of the government machinery.\u0000Aim: The purpose of this study was to empirically determine the effect of human resource competence on the financial performance of the Bireuen district government.\u0000Method: The variables used in this study are human resource competence as the independent variable and financial performance as the dependent variable. The approach used in this study is the quantitative by testing theories through measuring research variables and analyzing data with statistical procedures using SPSS V.22 for Windows. The type of data used in conducting this research is primary data obtained from the results of distributing questionnaires to BKPSDM Bireuen district. The sampling method in this study was saturated sampling method where the samples obtained were 46 respondents.\u0000Findings: The results stated that the direction of the influence of variable X on Y is positive, through the t test where tcount > ttable (9.380 > 2.015) thus Ha is accepted H0 is rejected. Studies show mixed results of the relationship between ESG and financial performance. Besides, ESG adoption in ASEAN countries is still in early stage compared with European countries or US region.\u0000Aim: The purpose of this paper is to investigate the relationship between Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance and firm performance of ASEAN listed companies moderated by company ownership structure.\u0000Method: This paper selects publicly listed companies in ASEAN stock exchanges with data period of 2017-2021, a total of 607 companies samples with 1,309 data observations. Diarrhea and relations due to poor WASH kills and put on cost on family and economy at large. Poor WASH affects economy in the sense that, millions of persons are unable to yield maximum productivity due to sickness, millions of working hours lost, and millions of schooling hours lost.\u0000Aim: This study performed an assessment of water, sanitation, and hygiene among Almajiri schools in Sokoto state, Nigeria.\u0000Method: A survey using a sample size of 300 schools gotten via simple random sampling, analyzed with descriptive statistics and chi-square test. Findings: The Almajiri schools surveyed, 3.3% of them have basic sanitation; 6.7% had limited sanitation; and most of them (90.0%) have no service at all (unimproved sanitation facilities or no sanitation facilities at the school). No Almajiri school had basic hygiene services (that is handwashing water and soap at the latrine vicinity), 33.7% had limited hygiene services, that is, they recorded acquiring of handwashing facilities with water but no soap available at the school at the time of the inspection, 66.6% of the schools had no services, that is no handwashing facilities or no water available at the school during the survey. States increased the level of protection that aims ‘to maintain and to protect’ their borders on behalf of sovereignty. On the other hand, refugees have the right ‘to seek and to enjoy’ asylum from persecution in other countries. In this context, refugee crisis implies the paradigm clash between national security and human security. The Global Compact on Refugees (GCR) is presented as the product of a “States Plus” approach to multilateralism that brought together several states, other stakeholders, and refugees to solve the dilemma above with the principle of burden and responsibility-sharing.\u0000Aim: This article analyzes the legal mechanism that impacts the financial resources and fulfilment of the GCR objectives.\u0000Method: The researcher combined a qualitative approach with a methodology for conducting a literature review. The majority of the articles and other sources used to compile the study's data were books and academic publications that examined relevant subjects.\u0000Findings: Previously, refugee handling in the global refugee regime (1951 Convention and 1967 Protocol) tended to be state-centred. In contrast, GCR tends to be people-centred and comes from the refugee crisis realities (bottom-up). However, from the implementation aspect, there is a significant gap between the targets made in the Global Refugee Forum and its achievements. As technology advances, vaping's popularity there is still rising. The vast number of people who traveled abroad for vacation is where it all began. They brought vaporizers with them when they went back to Indonesia. They introduced them to friends, family, and coworkers in their various communities, which led to many people switching from traditional cigarettes to vaping and raising the price of vape in Indonesia.\u0000Aim: The purpose of this study was to analyze and prove the effect of perceived enjoyment, social influence, subjective norms, personal gratification on the attitude of vape users in Samarinda City.\u0000Method: Researchers conducted quantitative research by providing questionnaires to residents of Samarinda who use vaping products. The questionnaire contains 26 indicators and 26 statements scores on a scale of 1 to 5, with one strongly disagreeing and five strongly agreeing. The sample size for the SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) analysis tool is 100-200 respondents to estimate interpretations with SEM performed on the IBM AMOS 23 software.\u0000Findings: Perceived enjoyment, social influence, subjective norms, and personal gratification significantly effect the attitudes of vape users in Samarinda City.
