A simple scheme of simulating the propagation of shock waves in the heliosphere is devised to study such disturbances caused by solar flares. This scheme, the HAF scheme, is capable of simulating the propagation of many shock waves generated during extended periods up to a distance of 100 au (200 days) during periods when many solar disturbances can occur. The capability of the scheme is demonstrated in reproducing: (1) Multi-events with multi-satellite data within 2 au: (2) The heliospheric conditions at Ulysses/ Cassini within 10 au. (3) A successful reproduction of a Pioneer 11 event at 30 au. (4) The heliospheric condition up to 100 au in 2004, in addition to (5) reproducing recurrent geomagnetic srorms. Thus, the method presented here is simple enough in predicting a rough overall pattern of heliospheric disturbances on a day-to-day basis without MHD simulations. In this paper, we assembled systematically (in terms of distance from the sun) the above multiple results during the development of the HAF scheme in different periods by many researchers. It is hoped that much better schemes will be developed by extending and improving the HAF scheme.","PeriodicalId":377724,"journal":{"name":"Physics & Astronomy International Journal","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130259273","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Furthermore, the relation of the diffusivity to mobility ratio of the carriers in semiconductors (referred to as DMR) is very helpful because it is more accurate than any of the individual relations for diffusivity to mobility ratio, which is thought to be the two most frequently used parameters in carrier transport in semiconductors. With n-InSb and Hg1-xCdxTe as examples of numerical calculations, we will examine DMR under strong magnetic quantization of III-V in line with the three- and two-band models of Kane, respectively, along with parabolic energy bands.","PeriodicalId":377724,"journal":{"name":"Physics & Astronomy International Journal","volume":"126 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126930086","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The sample was made up of 24 future professors from a Chilean university. Task-based interviews were used to collect the information. The results show that future teachers have adequate intuitive ideas about expected value, prioritize the classical approach to solve situations and determine if the game is fair or not, taking into account both the probability of winning or losing the game, and the value that is gained or lost, using few solution strategies, which makes it easier for them to combine their statistical thinking with its teachableness. It concludes on the need to improve the teachability of probability, in both disciplinary and didactic aspects, suggesting support for teachers, both in training and in practice.","PeriodicalId":377724,"journal":{"name":"Physics & Astronomy International Journal","volume":"75 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121822476","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Physics education prepares secondary school graduates to proceed with the study and application of science to explore the universe, as well as being productive members of diverse socio – economic sectors of any nation. Understanding Physics and developing skills that allow students to be responsible citizens in promoting sustainable development depends on how physics education is taught. While interaction between classmates, and students and teachers is important, but with the advent of the COVID – 19 outbreak the learn from home policy which many countries adopted, suspended face – to – face learning, giving way to physics online learning as a combination of synchronous and asynchronous distance learning. This study sought to explore A – Level physics learners' and teachers’ perceptions on the effectiveness of online physics teaching and learning. Semi – structured interviews with purposive sampled A – Level physics learners (PLs) and physics teachers (PTs) were used to collect data. Findings from the study show that if online physics learning is to be successfully, then it should be implemented blended with face – to – face learning. However, ways to support those learners disadvantaged financially to afford data to remain internet connected, should be put into place so that every learners benefits. The study has shown that not all physics concepts can be taught effectively through online strategy, therefore physics syllabi should clearly spell out areas which can be taught online and those which are mandatory to be taught face – to – face.","PeriodicalId":377724,"journal":{"name":"Physics & Astronomy International Journal","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129638389","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Three ranges of light with P4O10/TiO2 film are studied, which are ultra violet light (UV) + visible light (VIS) + IR, VIS + IR, and IR only. This study also investigates the impact of molar ratio of CO2/H2O or CO2/NH3 on the CO2 reduction characteristics of P4O10/TiO2 film. The largest CO2 reduction performance in case of CO2/H2O and CO2/NH3 is obtained at CO2:H2O = 1:1 and CO2:NH3 = 3:2 respectively, irrespective of light illumination condition. With IR light illumination only, the largest molar quantity of CO per unit weight of photocatalyst for P4P10/TiO2 film in case of CO2/H2O and CO2/NH3 is 2.36 mmol/g and 33.4 mmol/g, respectively.","PeriodicalId":377724,"journal":{"name":"Physics & Astronomy International Journal","volume":"64 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133666325","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thus, the process of replacing fossil fuels with many energy technologies cannot be avoided in order to combat this high dependency. Nevertheless, we argue that in the long term, nuclear fission technology is the answer to the ever increasing demand for energy. This entails that nuclear fission has to play a major role in suppling energy in this age and beyond. In achieving this, the major aspect is in switching electrical energy generation from fossil fuels to nuclear fission. This cannot be achieved in a short period of time but in few decades citing France as an example.1 This energy transformation campaign is capable of reducing emissions of carbon dioxide as well as other greenhouse gases at a large scale. In view of this, replacement of coal-fired with gas-fired generating stations will not significantly reduce greenhouse gases emissions. What about the other energy sources such as wind and solar? These may not be an ultimate answer as they will be hard pressed in supply and may fall short in energy supply at very high scale. This is because they depend on backup power or energy storage hence not able to meet the ever growing high demand of energy. Therefore, this paper focuses on the current status of nuclear energy. It also discusses the future prospects of nuclear energy and the activities of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).","PeriodicalId":377724,"journal":{"name":"Physics & Astronomy International Journal","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127006184","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The question thus arises whether these earliest planetary systems did originate under similar conditions as did our solar system about 4.1 Gigayears later? In this article we are looking onto this fundamental problem and show that for the context of the origin of solar systems it very much counts how the Hubble expansion of the universe has developed over cosmic eons. If the cosmic expansion dynamics is too large, no solar systems at all would have been produced, if it would be too small, solar systems would have originated just shortly after the cosmic matter recombination, but not anymore since then. In other words, the Keplerian laws, derivable with the help of Newton‘s gravitational law, would they perhaps reflect the changes in an expanding universe over the cosmic eons? And if yes, - how would they do it? In this article we conclude that in fact Newton‘s pendulum or Kepler‘s planetary revolution periods represent a perfect cosmic clock indicating the actual status of the expanding universe. Only in case, however, that Newton‘s gravitational constant G would vary with the scale R of the universe like G - R, then this clock astonishingly enough would be synchronized for the whole cosmic evolution not serving anymore as a cosmic tracer.","PeriodicalId":377724,"journal":{"name":"Physics & Astronomy International Journal","volume":"102 5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117167796","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
