After a long historical development, it forms today's wonderful national folk art. Its production process is rich in ethnic characteristics and national traditions with rich composition, imagination, and uniqueness. Among them, the Miao and Buyi batik in Guizhou is a typical representative of dyeing and weaving technology in China. From the perspective of social psychology, the composition of batik is inseparable from people's stimulation of the response process, that is, batik is the corresponding psychological response of ethnic minority women by receiving the stimulation of external things (natural things), and putting this reaction into their behavior. Different forms of batik compositions reflect their pursuit and desire for a better life.","PeriodicalId":377167,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Social Sciences and Artistic Innovations","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114775613","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We examine how biochar addition to the rice field would influence rice planted areas in Taiwan due to crop yield increase. The result provides insights into biochar utilization and changes in current rice cultivation activities with a modified Taiwanese agricultural model. The area of higher rice yields increases while the lower output area decreases. Plant location also influences the change in area. With a change in plant location, rice plantations change considerably. While most biochar is used in southern and central Taiwan, the results vary depending on where the pyrolysis plant is built and the transportation cost. Climate change might have substantial influences on Taiwan’s rice production","PeriodicalId":377167,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Social Sciences and Artistic Innovations","volume":"116 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132073613","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The hero Clegg, an orphan who is distorted in the cold social environment, being an isolated and invisible man in the world, diverted his interests from the collector of the butterflies to the capture of a living girl and prisoned her till she was dead. From the analysis of the novel, this paper concerns the inner motivation of Clegg, the vulgar of Midland, the captured girl, and the lust of the hypocoristic Mr. X, with the process of the tracking down and imprisonment till the death of the heroine. This paper points out the root of the alienated phenomenon from the character’s speech, behaviors, and inner activities. In the modern world, a human being becomes the victim of the frosted world. Everyone is doomed to be distorted, crazy, and totally destroyed.","PeriodicalId":377167,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Social Sciences and Artistic Innovations","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134233560","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Arts education is included still in schools but faces the challenge of integrated teaching in elementary schools. In order to prepare preservice teachers to adopt the integrated model of arts education, arts teacher education needs a new structure of curriculum in the sense of competency-driven education. Thus, we construct and recommend an arts specialized curriculum for training elementary art teachers.","PeriodicalId":377167,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Social Sciences and Artistic Innovations","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126679655","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As an insider, the author has witnessed and experienced how “musically talented children” are raised in Japan for more than three decades. The purpose of this paper is, therefore, to articulate the career path for becoming professional classical musicians from infants through college period. The findings are four folds: (1) piano is the most popular instrument, to begin with from early age, (2) most young children participate in music competitions, (3) there are three critical periods when young children have to decide whether they continue to study music or quit, (4) Two music universities, the Tōhō Gakuen Music School and the Tokyo National University of the Arts are the top schools in producing professional musicians, particularly in the piano, the violin, and the composition fields. In addition, the systems of three notable music education organizations, the Suzuki Methods, the Tōhō Music School for Children, and the PTNA, are explained.","PeriodicalId":377167,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Social Sciences and Artistic Innovations","volume":"80 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126933406","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There is still some limitation in the semiotic theory of Morris. The limitation of semiotics urges a new perspective to think over the relationship between language and social culture. Under this circumstance, sociosemiotics was developed on the basis of semiotic theory. This paper tries to apply sociosemiotics approach to translation. It is found in the study that the sociosemiotic approach takes into consideration all the signs in human society including linguistic and social-cultural signs. Translating thus is regarded as the message transition between two semiotic systems. Translation study based on sociosemiotics has become a new research sphere along with linguistics, philosophy, aesthetics, psychology and sociology. The development and perfection of sociosemiotics inspire researchers to interpret the meaning of the text in a wider web of relationships among language, culture, psychology, and society. The equivalence translation from a sociosemiotic perspective can be applied in different discourses such as legal translation, foreign news translation, English business advertisements, to name just a few.","PeriodicalId":377167,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Social Sciences and Artistic Innovations","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121427535","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

While this harmony has been removed into utopia by the established reality principles, phantasy insists that it must and can become real, that behind the illusion lies knowledge. … The analysis of the cognition function of phantasy thus leads to aesthetics as the “science of beauty”... . The very commitment of art to form vitiates the negation of unfreedom in art.” —Herbert Marcuse (1966) Aesthetico-symbolic representation of art in all its forms constitutes repressed reality which is otherwise painful. This cathartic function of art unveils truth based on reason. Marcuse sums up the dualism of Aristotelian reason: “Art survives only where it can cancel itself, where it saves its substance by denying its traditional form and thereby denying reconciliation: where it becomes surrealistic and tonal. Otherwise, art shares the fate of all genuine human communication: it dues off.” (Marcuse 1866, p. 145).","PeriodicalId":377167,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Social Sciences and Artistic Innovations","volume":"84 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123600694","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Under the common computer specifications, sound cards contribute its delay significantly. Applying Audio Stream Input Output (ASIO) reduces the delay to 6 ms in the proposed real-time virtual choiring system which is a huge improvement. With the existing technology, ASIO significantly suppresses the delay, which helps to realize real-time virtual choiring. The experiments suggest that a few Mbps network bandwidth be adequate to the audio transmission in a real-time virtual choir, but still easily available when considering that video streaming requires much higher bandwidth by using 5G or WiFi 6.","PeriodicalId":377167,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Social Sciences and Artistic Innovations","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132199501","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
