This approach can be carried out in two main steps. The first step consists on determining the most adapted architecture to answer the specifications and the appropriate technologies of the passive and the active components of the selected architecture by considering major constraints (volume, cost…). The technology choice is carried out using models developed from manufacturer datasheets. The second step consists on optimizing the selected architecture by considering the appropriate technologies resulting from the first step under multi-physic constraints: thermal, losses (or efficiency), volume …. The proposed control scheme is of “plug-in” structure: a plug-in digital repetitive controller plus a conventional controller (e.g., P or PD controller). The design of the plug-in repetitive learning controller is systematically developed. The stability analysis of overall system is discussed. A repetitive controlled PELS is given as an application example. Desired current can be ensured under parameter uncertainties and disturbances. RF electricity is supplied to the plasma chamber and stability operation is required. For this purpose the impedance of the equivalent loads is controlled to be 50 [Ω]. Therefore the capacitance of capacitors in an LC circuit called a matching box is adjusted and the receiving end impedance is maintained to be 50 [Ω]. Therefore, the same type of HVIGBT should be adopted substitute for original GTO and corresponding domestic development is very necessary. Novel development work of GTO auxiliary system replacing by HVIGBT choppers and inverters have been carried out and completed in 2006. The new system is in reliable operation on line1 vehicles for more than 2 years. After analyzing the original GTO Auxiliary System, simulation on novel HVIGBT chopper for the system is given in this paper. Compared with the simulation results, experimental waveform based on the newly developed HVIGBT chopper which is composed of 800A /3300V HVIGBT module is consistent on the whole. The concept of modulation vector was introduced, and the relationship of output voltage and input voltage of MC by space vector denotation was deduced. Using the modulation vector approach, an improved SVM approach was proposed to improve the output performance of MC in abnormal input voltage conditions. The novel approach was based on dynamic control of the output voltage modulation vector respect to the instantaneous input voltage vector. By this method, the unbalanced and non-sinusoidal input voltages could be automatically compensated without any extra calculation so the output voltage could keep balanced and sinusoidal in expected value. The time-varying nonlinear model of the wind turbine is translated into a linear parameter varying (LPV) system with convex polyhedron version via the LPV convex decomposition technique. State feedback controller satisfying H∞ performance at every vertex of convex polyhedron parameter space can be numerically solved via linear matrix inequalities (LMI) approach. Using these designed controllers at every vertex, a LPV controller with smaller on-line calculating capacity is synthesized via convex decomposition techniques. Our works focus on the followings: 1) a few of external electrical properties of HID lamps have been measured to represent the V-I characteristic and output power vs. equivalent resistance as well as external voltage vs. equivalent resistance; 2) based on the measurement results, a new electrical model has been proposed from 1kHz to 30kHz if the lamps are working no acoustic resonance condition. In order to verify the proposed model, a few of the different brands lamps have been tested. The future value of grid current is predicted by a discrete-time model. The predicted value of grid current is evaluated by the quality function. The optimal switching state that minimizes the quality function is selected. The predictive current control is sensitive to variations in parameters. The effect of variations in parameter values on control system is compensated by parameter estimation. The parameter estimation is achieved by the least square method.
