The algorithm uses binary strings called receptors to detect intrusions in programs in the operating system. In the work, a statistical approach is used to calculate the probabilities of detecting the intrusions and the results are compared with the experimental tests. New experiments are conducted using a virtual machine as the environment to check the effectiveness of the proposed IDS. For this purpose, real-world malware samples are launched in the virtual machine. Reliable fabrication protocols, using InGaZnO as n-type semiconductor, in combination with different design strategies, aiming at the improvement of both the electrical performance and the mechanical stability of such electronics, are discussed. First, simulation models are used to guide the fabrication of operational amplifiers and logic circuits on flexible polyimide foil, using an additional third metal layer for the interconnections. Thanks to the reduced parasitic resistances and capacitances, the resulting circuits have yielded improved electrical performances with respect to a two-metals architecture. In particular, an increase of 5.7% of the Gain-Bandwidth-Product (GBWP) for operational amplifiers, and an average reduction of 22% of the rise times, fall times and propagation delays for digital circuits, were achieved. In parallel, Finite-Element Modeling (FEM) has supported the design of engineered stretchable substrates shaped with pillar (or mesa) structures. Reusing implementation results of a module for multiple instances and across different designs can mitigate this issue. Identical relative placement and routing for multiple instances of a module can be forced in Xilinx 7 Series devices with strict design constraining. A reference instance of a module can be implemented in a certain section of FPGA fabric. Fixed placement and routing constraints can be extracted from the obtained results and relocated to any identical section of FPGA fabric. The approach is especially useful when applied to reconfigurable partitions – it supports independent development and implementation of reconfigurable modules and static design. Thanks to low response time and high sensitivity, this type of sensor is often used in applications that rely on fast digital pulse processing such as a plasma spectroscopy. Large size fusion devices such as ITER tokamak require sensitive electronic devices to be placed far away from the reactor due to high magnetic field, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation. One of the plasma diagnostic system, that use PMT’s is ITER Hard X-Ray Monitor (HXRM). In the case of the HXRM system signal to digitizer must be sent over a 100 m long triaxial cable. Electromagnetic interferences can degrade the signal. PMT provides low amplitude signal that requires low-noise amplification before digitalization and transmission. A suitable ultra a low-noise amplifier with at least 100 MHz bandwidth, gain higher than 100x (with possible adjustment) and relatively high voltage output is required.Various available solutions were considered, but none of them fulfill all requirements at once. Finally, a dedicated low-noise amplifier was designed from scratch to meet all specifications required by PMT-involved applications.The paper discusses the design of a low noise amplifier suitable for Photomultiplier Tube applications.
