A Microcontroller Based System for the Selected Gases Detection with Alert Feature

Abstract

The problem of measuring the concentration of gaseous chemical compounds in the air - especially these potentially dangerous to human life - is studied extensively. The main goal of this work was to design, build and test a cost-effective system that can measure the concentration of different gases and additionally notify the user when a specified threshold value is exceeded.
