The dual-band feature is implemented using pi-shaped dual-band impedance transformers. Instead of the stubs usually used in such transformers, impedance buffers are used to avoid impractical line widths. A prototype operating at 0.9/1.4 GHz is fabricated, and its simulation and measurements results are presented. The measured output power levels of the prototype at each band are within 0.75 dB from their theoretical values, and good input matching(<-18 dB) is observed at both bands.","PeriodicalId":375340,"journal":{"name":"2022 9th International Conference on Electrical and Electronics Engineering (ICEEE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130558955","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this view, the main object of this study is to analyze controlling the drying process with computer vision used in keeping and storing food and both manage the quality control phase and determine to finalize drying phase. Another object of the study is to show that the performance and quality of drying process and other parameters under different conditions (heat source, moisture, temperature etc.) can be observable by using image analyses. In accordance with these objects, food drying process with three different heat sources has been analyzed, food pictures have been taken with RGB cameras during drying process and the results have been modeled. According to the modeling results, the lowest error in training data and test data have been obtained with resistance drying (1.3493 MAE and 1.8446 RMSE) and infrared (6.3375 MAE and 7.0520 RMSE), successively. It has been seen that the resistance values have almost produced the best results in terms of R2 values. These error values staying between the acceptable limits while using the simple modeling can obtain more accurate results when they are used with improved modeling techniques by increasing the data number. This situation has shown that the drying process can be controlled with computer vision.","PeriodicalId":375340,"journal":{"name":"2022 9th International Conference on Electrical and Electronics Engineering (ICEEE)","volume":"60 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131001368","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Machine Learning classification is an effective method to realize customer churn prediction. This article provides a comparative study of machine learning from the perspective of predicting customer churn. Customer churn is one of the obstacles hindering the development of companies. Through classification approaches based on machine learning, customer churn can be predicted precisely, thus providing decision-making capabilities to these companies. Customer churn prediction is a typical classification problem and can be addressed by the use of a decision tree or random forest model. In this paper, decision tree and random forest models are employed to predict customer churn, using sales data provided by a chemical company from 2012 to 2020. We analyze the underlying risk of customer churn and the customer churn factors, including the low-priced count (LC), total amount of money (TM), and creation time (CT). The prediction results of the two models are evaluated by calculating various metrics. The experimental results indicate that the low-priced count (LC) is the most essential factor for customer churn. The results of the comparison, considering the training error and generalization error including: confusion matrix, ROC curve, AUC, precision, recall, and F1 score, reveal that the random forest model has better prediction accuracy than the decision tree model.","PeriodicalId":375340,"journal":{"name":"2022 9th International Conference on Electrical and Electronics Engineering (ICEEE)","volume":"82 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126178977","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As well, the mathematical model for Nakagami-$m$ is more analytically tractable than other well-known fading channels, which attracted considerable interest among the research community. Original channel model was proposed mainly for single–input single–output (SISO) systems, where the envelope follows the Nakagami distribution while the phase is assumed to be uniformly distributed. However, such model is shown previously to be inaccurate for multiple–input multiple–output (MIMO) systems accomplishing multiplexing gains such as spatial multiplexing (SMX) and space modulation techniques (SMTs). As such, a different Nakagami-$m$ MIMO channel model was suggested and shown to correctly models the behavior of the channel parameters under different conditions. Yet, it is revealed in this study that the previously advised model is imprecise as the phase distribution was not accurately modeled. As well, the previous model was only realizable for integer values of the Nakagami $m$ parameter. Thereby, an altered accurate model is suggested and thoroughly analyzed in this article. Also, the new model is shown to be applicable for arbitrary values of $m$ (i.e., not necessarily integers or half integers). The paper also presents the modified conditions under which the analytical formulation is correct as compared to Monte-Carlo Simulation. For illustration purposes, space shift keying (SSK), quadrature spatial modulation (QSM) and SMX MIMO systems are considered in this study.","PeriodicalId":375340,"journal":{"name":"2022 9th International Conference on Electrical and Electronics Engineering (ICEEE)","volume":"158 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114206647","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, there have been huge investment for wind turbines for an onshore and offshore. Due to wind fluctuations, wind turbines are still defined as an intermittent power sources in literature. In order to improve the wind turbine penetration, mitigating negative effects and increasing benefits makes important contribution to support from grid operator and market players. In addition to this, energy storage integration to wind turbine can provide further support to mitigate the negative effects such as unforeseen wind speed as well as intermittency. This positive support increases the control of active power output. In this paper, the research on the energy storage integration to wind turbine system are conducted. As a case study, 4.2 MW output power wind turbine model is used with real time measured wind speed data which is gathered from in Turkey. The critical factor inside the exhaust system that affects the engine's performance is backpressure. Backpressure is known as the difference between maximum pressure in the exhaust system and atmospheric pressure. Based on previous studies, it was found that an un-optimal exhaust manifold's design leads to higher backpressure that reduces the performance and the fuel efficiency of the SI engine. This research aimed at enhancing the high-end power of the 115cc SI engine by optimizing the exhaust manifold's divergence characteristics through 1D engine analysis. S/N ratio analysis was used through Taguchi's method as a tool to conduct the design optimization. From the analysis, it was found that the optimal exhaust manifold's divergence configuration improved the mean brake power by 4.67% at high-end engine speed. It is expected that the optimal exhaust manifold's divergence configuration could also improve the engine's brake torque and fuel efficiency which could directly reduce the carbon footprint to the environment.","PeriodicalId":375340,"journal":{"name":"2022 9th International Conference on Electrical and Electronics Engineering (ICEEE)","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117206345","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The power capacitor is actively working in an industrial facility. Six months of the data from this capacitor were recorded and tests were carried out using Machine Learning (ML) algorithms for its remaining useful life. ML algorithms were selected from the algorithms that used for regression problems. In the study, Support Vector Machine (SVM), Linear Regression (LR) and Regression Trees (RT) algorithms were used. The rated powers of the analyzed capacitor are 50kVAR and 25kVAR from the active plant. The data set was created by running the capacitor continuously for 6 months and the capacity loss was examined with using ML algorithms. The algorithm that gives the best result in the regression analyzes is the LR algorithm. Island grids that are not connected or limited to another grid with high system balance and generation power for various reasons, can meet the load demand stably and efficiently with the use of renewable energy and storage systems. The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) cannot meet the electricity demand despite its high potential to generate renewable energy. It is an island and has a land connection only with the Greek Cypriot Administration. However, the political relations between the two sides are weak. To find a more efficient, environmentally friendly, and more sustainable solution to TRNC's electricity demand, this paper examines the use of hybrid solar energy systems. More specifically, the paper analyzes the use of energy storage systems by scaling the electricity production and consumption values of the Serhatköy region. By examining the conjuncture of the TRNC, which operates in micro-grid mode by being disconnected from the main grid, this paper proposes an alternative system as an outcome. The simulation analysis reveals that with this new system the need for the main grid can be reduced cost-effectively while meeting the technical requirements. In addition, there is a direct correlation between the financial income and production rate of solar energy.","PeriodicalId":375340,"journal":{"name":"2022 9th International Conference on Electrical and Electronics Engineering (ICEEE)","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116045395","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It will superimpose several parts of the artefacts and overlay them with augmented objects, creating an augmented reality environment. This study focuses on augmented reality as it can be used without additional hardware that might incur more cost. It only needs a piece of software technology and a device that can be used alongside the software.
