The dual-band feature is implemented using pi-shaped dual-band impedance transformers. Instead of the stubs usually used in such transformers, impedance buffers are used to avoid impractical line widths. A prototype operating at 0.9/1.4 GHz is fabricated, and its simulation and measurements results are presented.
