The MicroGrid for an electric train is considered that contains two output three-phase inverters with a total power 400 kVA. Analytic expressions for determination of a required phase and output voltage amplitude of the three-phase inverters are obtained. The problem related to current rushes appearance when the output three-phase inverter connected to the MicroGrid is shown. For solving this problem, the control algorithm of the output three-phase inverters with the use of two proposed control modes (PLL-mode and Droop-mode) was developed. It is shown that the combination of the developed PLL-mode and Droop-mode allows excluding the output current rushes and provides an equable output power division between the three-phase inverters at the level of 5%. Hardware Trojans (HTs) are integrated in lightweight chippers building designs to leak sensitive data. Runtime monitoring techniques effectively detects HTs, however, require significant resources (area, power and energy). Recently, runtime monitoring algorithm based on reverse-function redundancy (RFR) was proposed. RFR minimizes energy and power but requires significant area resources to implement critical nodes' monitors. The objective of this research is to develop a simplified runtime monitoring algorithm with minimal area resources, power and energy. The algorithm uses step-based reverse function redundancy (SRFR), facilitates design-for-trust and is targeted for lightweight ciphers in RCDs. Initially, several optimization techniques were examined and then incorporated in the proposed algorithm. Implementation results show that area resources were significantly reduced by 60%. However, a serious threat to the operation of the grid itself has emerged, which is the cyber-attack. To reduce the impact of this kind of attack on the electrical network, a new strategy was presented to provide an effective method to discover the nature of electrical disturbances according to specific criteria. One of the methods of artificial intelligence was used to discover the nature of cybernetic disturbances and distinguish them from other disturbances. The methodology of this method was tested on the IEEE 14-bus test system. The paper will determine the best location of the PV system in which the best performance of the network will be achieved, taking into account the voltage level, line loading, network Losses, short circuit level, voltage stability, as well as harmonic analysis. And facilitate the increase of penetration levels of PV systems in the electric network. Even though it can be predicted in different ways but as when we use the fastest growing time series databases, the prediction mostly will be accurate. Since time series is an important topic nowadays and it is having many applications, here we use those data to explore a study in the direction of web traffic prediction. In this paper, we propose a novel time series regression based hybrid model for web traffic prediction based on deep learning algorithms. This hybrid model is a combination of two well-known networks, Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) and Radial Basis Functional Networks (RBFNs). This is generated using ensemble stacking algorithm and is trained to make a final prediction using all the predictions of the LSTM and RBFNs as additional inputs. We choose the time series data on different Wiki pages and used the significant conventional evaluation metrics such as mean absolute error, mean squared error and mean absolute percentage error. Within machine learning, there are various types of techniques or tasks such as supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement, and many hyperparameters have to be tuned to have high accuracy especially in image classification. The batch size refers to the total number of images required to train a single reverse and forward pass. It is one of the most essential hyperparameters. In our paper, we have studied the supervised task with image classification by changing batch size with epoch. The characterization effect of increasing the batch size on training time and how this relationship varies with the training model have been studied, which leads to extremely large variation between them. Then, using the information coming from the designed estimator, an adaptive linear model predictive control is established for reference trajectory tracking considering some hard and soft constraints. An inappropriate amount of calorie intake may affect our health. Daily recording of food consumed helps calculate calorie intake. However, busyness and forgetfulness are problems faced in the daily recording. Therefore, a ß-version smart calorie counter prototype was developed for daily recording. However, the accuracy and consistency of measurements are influenced by easily loosen wire connections and the instability of components. A printed circuit board (PCB) is designed and developed to improve the stability and accuracy of the counter. This prototype tracks between components are designed. After comparing 2-layer PCB with 4-layer PCB, the 2-layer PCB design is chosen and sent to the manufacturer. The printed PCB is tested and troubleshot. 2-layer PCB with dimensions 10cm by 11cm is developed as it has a cheaper printing cost. The technologies are now ubiquitous but somehow the technologies have not been able to make an impact in the world of disability as expected. This research work is part of UTAS initiative to explore and invent novel assistive technologies that are relevant for locomotor challenged individuals. The work comprises an extensive literature survey that involves Oman's healthcare sector information. The main aim has been to analyze and assess the types of disabilities that are most prominent in Oman. Our work is a sort of survey paper on the more general as well as specific types of disabilities prevailing among Sultanate of Oman's population and underlying physical challenges. We analyze various surveys, white papers, and government manuals related to disability in Oman. We are keen on the statistical data on disability as it will allows in focusing our research directly on the specific needs of disabled. The data so collected sheds vital insights into how disability is being tackled and what technologies are currently in usage. This work also ropes in caregivers and try to ascertain their views on the type of devices and facilities they view as essential for the daily upkeep of the disabled person. We also surmise the integration of assistive technology (AT) with the Internet of Things [IoT] and how such contraptions can help in alleviating the physical discomfort faced by a locomotor-challenged person.
