The goal is to minimize the expected outage costs to consumers in conjunction with normally closed switches capital investment, installation, and annual operation and maintenance costs, improving at the same time the level of reliability and service quality of distribution networks. The optimization approach is developed as mixed-integer linear programming using CPLEX solver in the TOMLAB optimization tool. The global solution obtained was successfully tested and validated with real data of the above-mentioned Portuguese network. An optimized Defected Ground Structure (DGS) has been etched in the patch antenna's ground to achieve a dual-band response. Moreover, the GA allows obtaining a maximum gain in both frequency bands. The proposed antenna has a good gain of 7.22 dBi and 6.18 dBi at 3.5 GHz and 5.8 GHz. An experimental validation is conducted using ROHDE & SCHWARZ ZVB20 network analyzer, and a good agreement with the simulation result is obtained. We used eye tracking system to capture and tracks the child's eye gaze movements as they watch a short video of a human's dynamic facial expression evolving from static emotion to sad emotion. With the human face, we have created three areas of interests. Our data analysis focused on where specifically in the stimulus the child was looking at, with a significant difference was found between the two groups. However, the new scheme had not been applied to the phase shift keying (PSK) modulation technique. Due to the structure of M-PSK constellations, existing third mapper symmetry-based heuristics could not produce mapper designs. In this paper, a genetic algorithm (GA) is proposed to produce the third mapper design for three transmit USTLD PSK systems. The three transmit antennas USTLD M-PSK scheme is simulated in the fast-fading channel where M is the order of modulation. Numerical analysis show that the analytical results are validated by Monte Carlo simulations with a tight match at high SNR. The target is to enhance the narrow band behavior and to achieve ultra-wideband with high absorptivity rates. The design is based on octagonal shaped cut rings and octagonal patches printed on grounded rigid substrate. A novel unit cell is developed and enhanced with the use of lumped elements technique to obtain ultra-wideband absorbers with high absorptivity rates. It is implemented on Rogers RT5880 with dielectric relative permittivity $varepsilon_{mathrm{r}}=2.2$, dielectric loss tangent of $text{tan} delta=0.0009$, thermal conductivity of 0.2 W/m. K and with a 1.575 mm thickness. The characteristics of the MMA are examined in term of different resistive values, geometries, and angle of incidence. The obtained results show great enhancements in both the −10 dB bandwidth and in the absorptivity rates. The narrow bandwidth of the symmetrical design is enhanced by a factor of about 200 with average absorptivity of about 98% over the whole bandwidth. Subjective and objective tests were used to evaluate the system. We used the Mean Opinion Score (MOS) for subjective evaluation, and the Diagnostic Rhyme Test (DRT) to test the intelligibility of some consonants and vowels. We use the Perceptual Evaluation of Speech Quality (PESQ) for objective evaluation. The results have a mean of 3.92/5, 3.88/5 for the MOS and DRT tests, respectively, and 3.17/5 for the PESQ test; the majority of words and sentences were recognized, and the system's overall evaluation quality was satisfactory. Reduced complexity is the most attractive feature in encoding and decoding schemes. One of the main characteristics of 5G networks is the enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB) communications. The characteristic of chaotic signal such as wideband spectrum, good randomness behavior, easy to generate and perfect correlation properties making it suitable for 5G communication system. The implementation of polar coding with chaotic modulation plays a vital role in communication systems for 5G environments. Parallel processing capability with Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) reduce the complexity and perform the encoding and decoding processing faster. In this paper, an efficient communication system consists of polar codec and Chaotic Shift Keying (CSK) modulator has been designed in Xilinx System Generator (XSG). The designed system is implemented successfully in FPGA hardware using Nex4DDR-Artix7 and Genesys2-Kintex7. The hardware results proved that the required resources are reduced as compared with literature. People drive around for half an hour or more to avoid facing this challenge. Automatic car parking is an autonomous car maneuvering system that takes the car from a traffic lane to a parking space. To provide more simplicity into people's lives, this paper will develop a system that enables car to park itself in parallel way. The system uses ultrasound sensors and Arduino microcontroller to detect the parking place automatically, then moves the car to park in the accurate position. The system uses a four-wheel drive miniature vehicle to simulate the mechanism of a real car. This system becomes necessary for an inexperienced driver, especially in a narrow parking space without damaging his/her car or other cars nearby. In addition, disabled drivers can benefit from this technology. A prototype parking system that can perform parallel parking maneuvers autonomously has been implemented and tested. Doherty power amplifiers (PAs) assume different topologies to increase back-off power and efficiency values. However, their main concern is not about increasing the low-power region efficiency of the PA. Rather, they focus on the region between the peak power and the maximum back-off efficiency points.
