The MWK is obtained by incorporating the wavelet technique and manifold theory into SVM. Unlike Gaussian kernel in SVM, the MWK can approximate arbitrary nonlinear functions. Digital archives have been built up in almost every level of Chinese government hierarchy. The structure features of the archives in Chinese government are discussed first in this paper. Then, it proposes a practical approach for text mining of these semi-structured archives. With the help of Semantic Web related technology, knowledge extracted through mining can be stored and managed in ontology base for administrators, and can be retrieved through ontology presentation system for end-users. Finally, a case study in a provincial archives bureau of China is introduced, which shows that knowledge among the archives especially dynamic knowledge can be easily mined and utilized in this way. Bradford’s law was used to find the core journals of traffic flow. The total impact factor was proposed to evaluate the contribution of authors. Annual production, document type, language distribution of publications, page count, number of references, geographical distribution of research output, and key words in traffic flow filed were performed. To study two important facts: the allocation of market share and service radius of facilities. The utility function is the most important function for allocation the market share by a retail facility in a competitive environment. Conjunction with the spatial customer choice, we define a step utility function which is used to constitute a new model of a chain-company’s new facilities location in competitive environment. Both the decay cover and the service radius of facilities are considered in the model. The genetic algorithm to solve this model is developed and computational experiment is described. In this paper, a new face detection algorithm is introduced combined the skin color segmentation and the AdaBoost algorithm. The simulated experiment results show that this algorithm mentioned in this paper, not only reduces the false detecting rate and missing rate, but also obviously improves the detection speed. The effects on the aerodynamiccharacteristics of the whole aircraft made by the BWB wereinvestigated. The longitudinal/lateral characteristics of BWB and the conventional tailless sweep wing had been compared. The results showed that BWB configuration had the better longitudinal aerodynamic characteristics. The causes of its excellent characteristics can be attributed to the new wingbody lifting design, which can improve the flowing pattern of the surface. But its lateral stability was bad.
