The instrument measures life satisfaction and the condition of life among citizens because happiness is an indispensable human goal. A country’s happiness provides an important insight into its citizen’s well-being. For the citizens to be happy, the government must offer good governance supporting their well-being.  A number of factors have a negative or positive impact on the happiness index of any given country. The factors that positively impact the happiness index include Gross Domestic Product, generosity, high life expectancy, generosity, and social support. Corruption negatively impacts the happiness index of a country. The government must ensure that they minimize the cases of corruption in the government so that citizens can have hope in the government, which increases their happiness. To ensure citizens are happy, the government ought to have a consistent gathering of happiness data on a large scale because it helps policymakers recognize deliverables that must be formed to enhance citizens’ well-being.","PeriodicalId":373664,"journal":{"name":"Interdisciplinary Humanities and Communication Studies","volume":"90 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140451909","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Variations in emotional states can affect how people purchase and spend money in everyday life. The same applies to purchasing decisions, and the current emotion, especially positive emotions, is mainly responsible for the consumer’s decision to buy and invest. Previous research (Achar et al., 2016) has shown that emotions embedded in marketing stimuli, or integral emotions, influence decision-making through cognitive appraisals of the object or event. These emotions are elicited by marketing appeals and contexts, such as advertising or brand, and shape consumers’ decision-making processes.","PeriodicalId":373664,"journal":{"name":"Interdisciplinary Humanities and Communication Studies","volume":"12 20","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140450681","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Through the questionnaire survey, we found that anchor burnout had a significant impact on consumers’ purchase intention, purchase amount, satisfaction and loyalty. The experimental results show that the more serious the anchor burnout mood, the lower the purchase intention and purchase quantity of consumers and the lower the satisfaction and loyalty. These findings contribute to understanding the impact of anchor emotions on consumer behavior and provide useful reference for relevant businesses and researchers. The results of this study have certain guiding significance for understanding the influence of anchor emotions on consumer behavior and formulating corresponding marketing strategies.","PeriodicalId":373664,"journal":{"name":"Interdisciplinary Humanities and Communication Studies","volume":"14 10","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140450904","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In recent years, more and more individuals and media have begun to pay attention to the impact of social media on people. This paper, which takes Generation Z as the research object article, will focus on the psychological impact of social media on Gen Z.  Generation Z, unlike any previous generation, has a unique growing environment --- a digital environment. Starting from this perspective, the paper will analyze why human beings are faced with unprecedentedly complex psychological problems according to existing literature, with the purpose of in-depth research on the psychological impact of social media and online communities on Generation Z. this paper concludes that social media will greatly affect people’s psychological state, which has good and bad effects on current people. While social media platforms offer avenues for connection and self-expression, they also present various new challenges. Promoting the mental health of young people in a digital environment is crucial by balancing the positive aspects of social media with being aware of its potential negative effects.","PeriodicalId":373664,"journal":{"name":"Interdisciplinary Humanities and Communication Studies","volume":"97 15","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140451325","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Recently, the discharge of nuclear wastewater from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant in Japan has reignited discussions on such incidents’ environmental and geopolitical implications. In the aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami 2011, the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station was severely damaged, accumulating radioactive-contaminated water used to cool the reactors. In August 2023, Japan began discharging nuclear wastewater into the Pacific Ocean, overseen by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). This paper aims to analyze and compare the reports of China Daily and The New York Times on this issue. China Daily is China’s state-owned mainstream media dedicated to reporting news to English-speaking countries, while The New York Times is one of the most influential media in the United States. Through framing theory, this paper will use different frameworks to showcase how these two media outlets try to influence people’s perception of Japan’s discharge of nuclear wastewater and the geopolitical landscape.","PeriodicalId":373664,"journal":{"name":"Interdisciplinary Humanities and Communication Studies","volume":"97 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140451437","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

(RFE/RL’s Crimea. Realities, 2021) This action stimulated public discontent and thinking about the justice system. How can society reform a coercive system and move toward a criminal justice system that is logical, and compassionate? The use of torture to get confessions has also been a subject of ongoing debate within this problem.","PeriodicalId":373664,"journal":{"name":"Interdisciplinary Humanities and Communication Studies","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135511859","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

By investigating the interaction between emotional sensitivity and objective judgment, the study illustrates the influence of framing bias on decisions. The essay demonstrates how shifting the framing can impact how something is valued using principles from Prospect Theory. This prejudice is seen in consumer decisions, public policy discussions, and media coverage. Even with education and awareness, it can be challenging to counteract framing bias in a subjective, unconscious, and media-rich environment. In doing so, it sheds light on the complex web of human decision-making and suggests potential future research routes to better understand neurological processes and design focused therapies.","PeriodicalId":373664,"journal":{"name":"Interdisciplinary Humanities and Communication Studies","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135511864","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The findings suggest that digital inclusive finance hinders the quality of green economy development in China,and the conclusions still hold after using instrumental variables to deal with endogeneity; moreover, digital inclusivefinance promotes the level of green economy development while hindering green economy efficiency. Regional andstructural heterogeneity in the quality of digital inclusive finance for green economy development and its variablesacross dimensions exist.","PeriodicalId":373664,"journal":{"name":"Interdisciplinary Humanities and Communication Studies","volume":"24 5","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135512036","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
