The power supply takes the method of putting AC voltage regulator on the transformer primary side and rectifier circuit of double star in reverse on the secondary side and the size of the output current is controlled by changing the conduction angle of controllable devices. It uses thyristor on the transformer primary side, and then the secondary side can use cheap diode. It is not only easy to control and operate but also to design the trigger circuit. It can greatly improve the size of the output current because the diode capacity is larger than others. The simulation model is obtained by using the Matlab/Simulink software. The results of simulation prove that the power supply has strong adaptation and good dynamic performance. The power supply has been used in an actual production and it works efficiently and reliably.","PeriodicalId":373152,"journal":{"name":"2012 IEEE International Conference on Automation and Logistics","volume":"156 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-09-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114800635","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to solve the higher precision control problem for the nolinear, uncertained and strong-coupled ship dynamic positioning system, this paper introduces the nonlinear model predictive control (NMPC) technology into this system based on lots of foregoing work about its linear application. Firstly, a 3 degree of freedom nonlinear mathematic model of dynamic position ship is established based on ship dynamics. Secondly, the model is simplified according to the demand of design of the controller. Then, in terms of the concept of the lie notation, a nonlinear model predictive controller is designed based on NMPC theory. The controller is judged to be a Positive definite one. Finally, a simulation experiment is carried out and the simulation results show that the designed NMPC controller is effective and satisfactorily for ship dynamic positioning system.","PeriodicalId":373152,"journal":{"name":"2012 IEEE International Conference on Automation and Logistics","volume":"379 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-09-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124725564","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, an FCM (Fuzzy C-Means)-based method combining with mathematical morphology is proposed, while tomato images getting from greenhouse are used to verify the proposed method. The image getting from the vision sensor is color image in our system. Therefore, CIE L*a*b* color space is selected to express the color image in this proposed method at first. Then, the segmentation for the effective color feature component is made using FCM segmentation method. After that, the component with the desired characteristics can be obtained and transferred into binary image for further processing. Lastly, the mathematical morphology method with geometric characteristic is used to extract the largest connected component as the ideal result, and to mark the center and bound rectangle of the recognized fruit. Experiment results indicate that the proposed method achieved good performance.","PeriodicalId":373152,"journal":{"name":"2012 IEEE International Conference on Automation and Logistics","volume":"48 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-09-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130258170","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Two measurements named region information entropy and ratio of region mean are presented in the nonsubsampled contourlet transform (NSCT) domain so that the SAR image can be split into roughness regions, smoothness regions and highlight point target regions. The algorithm performs the different fusion rules for each particular region independently. Experimental results show that the fused image not only joins the target information in the SAR image that is difficult to identify in the panchromatic image but also preserves the spatial resolution of the panchromatic image. The algorithm performs significantly better than the wavelet transform and the pixel-based NSCT.","PeriodicalId":373152,"journal":{"name":"2012 IEEE International Conference on Automation and Logistics","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-09-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130492913","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Currently, most of discrimination processes are manually operated, which are time-consuming and inevitably limited by the subjective evaluation. In this paper, an automatic growing area discrimination method is presented based on tobacco near-infrared (NIR) spectrum using support vector machine (SVM). The Savitzky-Golay smoothing method and principle component analysis are used for tobacco NIR spectra preprocessing. A SVM model is established to investigate the characteristics of growing areas. The developed SVM classifier produces the best prediction accuracy of 80.3% in testing subset with 14 principle components as the inputs. It is 6% and 2% higher than that of artificial neuron network and Mahalanobia distance model respectively, which were developed for comparison. It demonstrates the effectiveness and robustness of SVM for growing area discrimination. The prediction ability for each growing region is further analyzed by the measurements derived from confusion matrix, such as true positive rate, true negative rate, positive predictive value and F1 score. The SVM setting is also discussed with respect to prediction accuracy of validation.","PeriodicalId":373152,"journal":{"name":"2012 IEEE International Conference on Automation and Logistics","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-09-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126299241","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Because of the effects of actuator saturation, pseudo-control hedging (PCH) was introduced to reduce the level and duration of actuator saturation. Considering fitting characteristics of neural network, we designed an adaptive neural network (NN) controller with a modified particle swarm optimization (PSO) to account for the dynamic inverse error. Meanwhile, the inertial weight of exponential decay was applied to enhance the performance of the PSO. The simulation result proves that the new flight control system conquered the aerodynamic modeling inaccuracies and the external disturbances; the PSO avoided the local optimization of NN and improved the learning efficiency. The compensation of the inverse error is effective and the robustness of the control system is improved greatly.","PeriodicalId":373152,"journal":{"name":"2012 IEEE International Conference on Automation and Logistics","volume":"36 3","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-09-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114042181","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
