Magnetostrictive displacement transducers on torsional waves are considered. The developed mathematical model is built using the COMSOL Multiphysics software package. This model takes into account all physical phenomena, such as mechanics (mechanical tension in the waveguide, the change in the physical size of the waveguide and its twisting), electricity (the flow of a current pulse through a magnetostrictive waveguide), magnetism (the magnetic field of a permanent magnet, the magnetic field created by the waveguide through which the excitation current pulse flows).","PeriodicalId":371743,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Electrotechnical Complexes and Systems (ICOECS)","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131313777","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Prevention of formation of gas hydrates by gas heating method is that, while maintaining the pressure in the gas pipeline, the temperature of the gas is maintained above the equilibrium temperature of their formation. The most advanced and promising methods used for this are electrophysical methods of thermal influence on the gas pipeline system. For example, local and locally-step heating of gas pipelines maintain the temperature of the viscous dispersed medium only in a limited area, and the associated heating of pipes requires a large consumption of electricity throughout the product pipelines. Therefore, the development of other types of inductive heaters is today an urgent task of the oil and gas industry as a whole.","PeriodicalId":371743,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Electrotechnical Complexes and Systems (ICOECS)","volume":"79 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114564901","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The determination of the modes and duration of accelerated tests of the engine and generators is carried out according to the generalized method, which allows as much as possible to ensure the equivalence of accelerated and lengthy damage tests at the same time of all “critical” elements of engine and generator assemblies. Comparative accelerated engine tests carried out under the regimes calculated by the considered method and the method used commercially in the industry showed that in the engine as a whole, the accelerated test efficiency, which was estimated by the level of equivalence of accelerated and lengthy tests, is 2 times higher, which allows more accurate assessment reliability and service life of generators and engine by accelerated testing.","PeriodicalId":371743,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Electrotechnical Complexes and Systems (ICOECS)","volume":"88 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117280405","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A number of motor failure cases and methods to prevent or minimize their impact on the drive system are considered. The fault tolerance of bearings, stator and rotor windings are both analysed in detail. In addition, finite element simulations of an outer rotor permanent magnet machine with a power of 4.5 kW and rated speed of 12000 rpm have been carried out. To verify the simulation results, an experimental prototype of a 6-phase permanent magnet motor for aircraft fuel pump application was developed. It is shown that the use of 6-phase (and more phases) electrical machines with permanent magnets is more effective than machines with duplex three phase system in terms of fault tolerance and efficiency. In addition, it is shown that the use of bearingless machines with permanent magnets is one of the most promising technologies for providing of fault-tolerance.","PeriodicalId":371743,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Electrotechnical Complexes and Systems (ICOECS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123116384","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
