Abstract

The effect of corona effect on the amount of electrical losses on the power lines is discussed in this paper. The influence of the wires insulation coating on the power lines is analyzed to solve a number of issues that directly affect the process of transmission of electricity through them. Possible materials for the coating, as well as the results of computer modeling and experimental verification of the statements under consideration are considered.
