One design is a single-layer symmetrical design, and the other design is a two-layer compact design. Static balancing is accomplished by adjusting the initial slope of the beam embodied in the bistable mechanism. The free-body diagram (FBD) combined with the beam constraint model (BCM) method is employed to capture the nonlinearities in the force-displacement characteristics of the proposed compliant bistable mechanism. Nonlinear Finite element analysis (FEA) is carried out to verify the modelling results.","PeriodicalId":370631,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE International Conference on Manipulation, Manufacturing and Measurement on the Nanoscale (3M-NANO)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125827603","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Ultra-precision fast tool servo technology is commonly adopted to process free-form optics. However, the surface decomposition algorithm and smoothing algorithm are immature. In this paper, the cutting points of tool path are endowed with timing characteristic based on machining parameters. Thus, the machining path can be put in a quasi four dimensional coordinate system. Then a tool path generation method based on the signal filtering technology is proposed to realize the surface decomposition and path smoothing, which can make better use of the characteristics of each machining axis of the machine tool and achieve better machining accuracy at the same time.","PeriodicalId":370631,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE International Conference on Manipulation, Manufacturing and Measurement on the Nanoscale (3M-NANO)","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125488397","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, Molecular Dynamic simulations was used to study the process of polymer brushes formed by the attached of polymer chains on polymer surface. The surface adsorption densities were distinguished according to different chain structures and counter ions. Two different modes are considered: (a) various the A-block lengths at fixed the chain length; (b) various the chain lengths at fixed the A-block length. The surface adsorption potential energy plays an important role in the shape of the diblock copolymer chain and the formation of the brush. The adsorption density studied in this paper can provide a basis for experimenters to design polymer brushes with required properties.","PeriodicalId":370631,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE International Conference on Manipulation, Manufacturing and Measurement on the Nanoscale (3M-NANO)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126359807","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

When the lateral force on the tip is large, it can lead to lateral deformation of the grooves and limits further fabrication of 2D and 3D microstructures. In order to obtain the machining depth of the grooves when it is not deformed, we analyzed the relationship between the normal load applied to the tip and the scratching depth. The results indicated that the experimental scratching depth matches well with the theoretical when 0° ≤ θ ≤ 20° and 35° ≤ θ ≤ 60°.≤ is the angle between the horizontal projection of the three-sided pyramid edge AD and the direction of scratching. When θ = 0°, the edge AD faces forward during the scratching process Furthermore, the force on the tip was also studied when machining in different directions. According to theoretical analysis and experimental testing, grooves would deform when the force vertical to scratching direction on the tip was greater than 30µN. Finally, we obtained the relationship between the maximum depth and machining direction during nanoscratching process.","PeriodicalId":370631,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE International Conference on Manipulation, Manufacturing and Measurement on the Nanoscale (3M-NANO)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128377515","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the low bonding strength of the CFRP due to its low surface energy restrains its industrial applications. Although methods including mechanical treatment, laser treatment, flame treatment and chemical treatment have been proposed to improve the bonding strength, the methods tend to involve dangerous chemical reagents, or may induce serious structural damages. In this study, we propose to use atmospheric pressure plasma jet (APPJ) to improve the surface wettability and bonding strength of the CFRP. Contact angles of water and epoxy resin, surface chemical composition, and microstructures before and after the APPJ treatments are characterized. Results indicate that the APPJ treatment can effectively improve surface wettability and bonding strength of the CFRP. The water contact angle decreases from ∼86° to ∼15.2°, while the shear strength increases from ∼5.5 MPa to ∼26.9 MPa, indicating that the APPJ may be a promising candidate for treatment of CFRP surfaces.","PeriodicalId":370631,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE International Conference on Manipulation, Manufacturing and Measurement on the Nanoscale (3M-NANO)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116817970","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the physical changes of cell degranulation based on AFM still need to be studied. In this paper, the changes of cell physical parameters and cell membranes of RBL-2H3 cells during cell degranulation induced by anti-DNP IgE were recorded, and the recorded data were analysed.
