Engine electronic control unit (ECU) receives the signals from the sensors, and gets the current engine status. Then depending on the signals, the ECU calculates fuel injection rate, injection timing and quantity. Accordingly the actuators which are driven by ECU carry out the better fuel control. Whether the vehicle could work efficiently and reliably almost dependents on the engine ECU is normal or not. One way to test engine ECU is using load box which can diagnose and calibrate the faults. This paper chooses CAN bus to realize the communication between ECU and load box because of its widely using and well function. This paper formulates the CAN bus communication protocol which meets the needs of load box test, and designs the CAN communication module and signal input /output module. MPC5633 made by Free scale is used as the micro controller unit (MCU) in ECU. Through the experiments showed in paper proves the testing programs of ECU control can realize the function requirements.","PeriodicalId":368130,"journal":{"name":"2011 Fourth International Conference on Intelligent Computation Technology and Automation","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-03-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128395372","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Firstly, we analyze the wireless signaling path loss model, the principle of measuring distance based on RSSI, and the algorithm of BP neural network fully. Secondly, we get the experimental data from the hardware platform of ZigBee. Finally, we use the algorithm of BP neural network to emulate and analyze the experimental data. Based on the results of the emulation and analysis, the maximum error of the distance prediction within 120m is 7.62%, with the prediction accuracy improved significantly.","PeriodicalId":368130,"journal":{"name":"2011 Fourth International Conference on Intelligent Computation Technology and Automation","volume":"7 11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-03-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128423441","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These state parameters are nonlinear functions reflecting real-time states of system. Then, applying Kalman filter to acquire best estimate value, we can calculate best answer by Gauss-Newton alternate arithmetic. Not knowing real noise statistic values, we should combine variable noise statistic estimator with two-step filter. Applying this method is called adaptive nonlinear filter. Analyzing simulation results of adaptive two-step filter, it is concluded that performance of adaptive two-step filter exceeds one of other filters.","PeriodicalId":368130,"journal":{"name":"2011 Fourth International Conference on Intelligent Computation Technology and Automation","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-03-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128996517","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, electromagnetic interference from the operational environment and hardware malfunction may cause short disturbances and permanent failures respectively, inevitably bring on communication errors or even break off the communication. To enhance the dependability of CAN communication, research on the on-line fault diagnosis is carried out in this paper, a Monitor is designed to diagnose faults in CAN nodes and a hybrid method with active and passive mode is presented to diagnose faults among communication links. The purpose is to generate smooth tool orientations that leading to consistent surface quality which can respect the mechanical and aerodynamic properties of the aero-engine blisk. With this as the object, optimal tool orientation planning methods for five-axis machining of blisk are studied in this paper. Machining processes and tool path generation methods are first presented according to the structural characteristics of the blisk. Then the feasible region of tool orientation for planned CC point is determined by partitioning the unit sphere formed by all possible tool axis vectors and interference checking. Based on the simplified feasible region, constrained optimization method is used to get optimal tool orientations along the tool path. Finally, the presented methods are validated to show its effectiveness by planning tool orientations for the blade surface and hub surface of the blisk.","PeriodicalId":368130,"journal":{"name":"2011 Fourth International Conference on Intelligent Computation Technology and Automation","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-03-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123441967","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The effects of the dispersion of the nanosized silica template in coal tar pitch, the washing procedures, and the mixing ratio of coal tar pitch to template(C/T) on the porous properties of MACs were investigated. It was found that the pore size distributions of MACs were relevant to the amount of template. The mesopore volume of MACs increased with the amount of template added from C/T of 4:1 to C/T of 2:1. No more mesopore volume, however, formed if C/T reached 1. Mesoporous activated carbons were produced with a BET surface area of 1729 m2/g and mesopore specific surface area of 1702 m2/g at the following conditions: C/T was 2:1, the ratio of KOH to carbon was 4.5:1, the activating temperature was 850 °C and the activating time was 2hrs.","PeriodicalId":368130,"journal":{"name":"2011 Fourth International Conference on Intelligent Computation Technology and Automation","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-03-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121300175","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
