The pressure on the latter becomes daily more and more important. The objective of the study is to present the environmental and socio-economic influences of land occupation in the municipality of Djidja. The research methodology is based on data collection, manual and statistical processing of data and analysis of results. Surveys are made from 271 heads or representatives of households and resource persons. The basic considerations of the socio-economic scenario contribute to the reduction of the lifespan of plant formations, as these will be subject to anthropic pressures. In fact, it has been noted in the case of this scenario, an amplification of human pressures in particular, the extension of plantings, the intensification of shifting cultivation on slash-and-burn, the massive destruction of natural plant formations with the consequent naked and soil pollution, amplification of water and wind erosion followed by huge losses of agricultural land. , agricultural producers, through their various associations are informed and integrated into the environmental management plan, through the creation and operation of several local action committees. When these different conditions are met, we will see the horizon 2050, environmental stability with an equitable distribution of different units of land use in the municipality of Djidja. This situation will prevent the study area from the climatic disturbances that it has suffered for decades. In short, the scenario of environmental stability or scenario '' Alafia '' is that desired for a sustainable management of the environment in the Municipality of Djidja. The overall performance of the simulation is 87.15% with a Kappa index of 83%. The results according to the types of units of occupation are relatively homogeneous, since they exceed 70% of precision for the producer, with however better results for artificialized units, agglomerations, fields and fallows.","PeriodicalId":364314,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Agriculture, Environment and Bioresearch","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128596429","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study adopted quasi experimental research design. A quadrat of 100m x 100m was delimited in the relatively less disturbed forest in each ecological zone from which twenty (20) sub-quadrats were randomly selected for data collection on plants and soil organisms (earthworm, arthropods, fungi and bacteria) abundance at different soil depths (0-15cm, 15-30cm, 30-45cm). Both descriptive and inferential statistics were used for data analysis. Findings showed that a total of 251 earthworm population was found in the entire area with the highest (52.1%) at the topsoil in the freshwater swamp (FWS) while 176 individual species of earthworm recorded in the mangrove (MG) with highest in the topsoil (63.64%). Soil arthropods abundance was significantly higher between FWS and MG at p<0.05. Earthworm abundance was significantly correlated with tree composition (r=-0.459), tree density (r=0.543) and tree density (r=0.581) in the FWS while soil fungi was significantly correlated with tree richness (r=0.445) at the topsoil in the FWS. In addition, at 15-30cm soil depth in the FWS, only soil fungi was correlated with tree composition (r=0.668) and tree richness (r=0.550). At the soil depth of 30-45, only soil bacteria was significantly correlated with tree richness (r=0.624) and tree density (r=0.464). In MG, at the soil depth of 0-15cm, soil arthropods abundance was significantly correlated with tree composition (r=0.464). At 15-30cm, soil bacteria was significantly correlated with tree richness (r=0.582) and tree density (r=0.632) while soil fungi was significantly correlated with number of trees (r=0.611), tree diversity (r=0.624), tree richness (r=0.520) and tree density (r=0.632). At the soil depth of 30-45cm, soil fungi correlated significantly with number of trees (r=0.474). The study recommended that plant conservation is important to protect the survival of soil organisms. quasi experimental research design. Such crops as onions, pepper, carrots, cabbage, etc are said to be suitably raised by irrigation only in northern part of Nigeria having semi humid climate, hence don’t perform well in the middle belt region with humid climates like Nasarawa state. An irrigational experiment was carried out to compare the biosphysical performance of a vegetable crop (cucumber-cucumissativas) using surface and drip irrigation, under Nasarawa South humid climate. Cucumber was planted in a rain fed plot and studied during raining season which served as control. Agronomic parametres of leaves (major and minor diameters), height and fruits produced were recorded and compared with the results from surface and drip irrigated plot during dry season. The drip irrigated crops produced 217 leaves followed by rain fed plot with 210 leaves and surface irrigated with 182 leaves. Rain fed plot had a mean height of 81cm followed by drip irrigated with 67.4cm and surfaced irrigated with 54.89cm. Fruit yield was highest in rain fed plot with 240 fruits at end of harvest, followed by drip irrigated plot with 192 fruits and surfaced irrigated plot with 144 fruits. From these results, it is recommended that some vegetable crops can perform and produce better through irrigation farming under humid climates of Nasarawa state","PeriodicalId":364314,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Agriculture, Environment and Bioresearch","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114031630","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose of this study was to confirm the presence or absence of enrofloxacin residues in 8 egg samples, after analyzing 180 eggs samples collected at commercial farms in Kosovo with the Elisa Test. The confirmation method used was the Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry. 2 of 8 samples resulted with presence of enrofloxacin residues. The findings suggest that illegal use of enrofloxacine in chicken farms is present and highlight the fact that chicken farmers were using antibiotics as a promoter of egg production and body weight and to reduce the incidence of infectious diseases. Five primers (Sola1, Sola4, Sola7, Sola8 and B4) were used to identify ISSR markers in C. mannii. These primers revealed a total of 55 bands of which 52 bands (93.06 %) are polymorphic. Molecular Analysis of Variance (AMOVA) indicates a weak genetic differentiation of the three cultivars (Fst = 0.048 or 5 %; p = 0.01). When considering the collection area, a weak differentiation between accessions was observed (Fst = 0.027 or 3 %; p = 0.01). On the other hand, a strong genetic differentiation was observed between accessions of the same cultivar (Fst = 0.268 or 24 %; p = 0.01) and between individuals of the same accession, for which a highly significant differentiation (Fst = 0.261 or 74 %; p = 0.01) was observed. For the constitution of a gene bank, it is necessary to keep many individuals in a limited number of accessions from few regions. Indeed, the dendrogram of C. mannii indicates a weak differentiation between cultivars and therefore their belonging to the same common ancestor.","PeriodicalId":364314,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Agriculture, Environment and Bioresearch","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132127107","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The contribution of agriculture to the Union's gross domestic product (GDP) is below 3%, but this industry employs about 5% of the employed working age population of the Community and is a major source of income in many rural communities. Food, beverages and tobacco represent about 20% of the average household expenditure in Europe and their contribution in the Union's international trade and export is very significant. The EU own production of basic agricultural products is vital both for its citizens and the political independence of its member countries. The economic, social and political importance of agriculture outweighs the contribution to the Union's GDP. Tobacco cultivation and tobacco production are part of the most important economic activities in Macedonia. Our country is a well-known producer of high-quality oriental type of tobacco, which is part of the recipes for manufacturing best quality cigarettes. Tobacco production is of economic importance and it should be sustained, despite the reduced production imposed by the EU in many countries. Many types and varieties of tobacco which are well-known for their specific properties, participate in obtaining the expected properties. According to the aroma, tobacco is divided into aromatic and non-aromatic. The term “aromatic tobacco” usually refers to the oriental types and they contain essential oils and other aromatic substances, due to which, their leaves become fragrant after the process of drying. The Balkan countries, including Macedonia together with Greece, Bulgaria, and Turkey, are the largest traditional producers and exporters of quality oriental tobacco. That is why the primary production of oriental small-leaf aromatic tobacco is of great economic and social significance for us. Due to its high quality, the Macedonian oriental tobacco is highly valued on the international market and together with the tobacco products, it is a significant export product that provides foreign exchange inflow into the state budget.","PeriodicalId":364314,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Agriculture, Environment and Bioresearch","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133903342","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Among these watersheds, we have Kafountine, which, like all others, participates in the sedimentary morphodynamics of the coastline through the water erosion that occurs especially upstream, on the slopes. The sediments transported and deposited are usually composed of fine sands forming accumulations in places that stabilize the beaches. The objective of this study is to estimate the amount of sediment eroded in the Kafountine watershed and transported to the coast. To do this, we used the Wischmeier and Smith Universal Soil Loss Equation (RUSLE) (1978), which is frequently used to calculate the average annual soil loss per unit of land resulting from slick and channel erosion. The equation is applied after the data is integrated into a Geographic Information System (GIS). The results from the overlapping of factors tell us that the Kafountine watershed is losing on average 54.5 t/ha/an.","PeriodicalId":364314,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Agriculture, Environment and Bioresearch","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130916351","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
