When using gadgets, children become less involved in interacting and communicating. Checking the current lifestyle is worrying. Children today have been adopted by the culture of technology dependence irrespective of the monitoring process by parents. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of gadget usage on speaking ability of children aged 3-6 years. This research was conducted at TK Al-Hikmah Jember. This research was conducted 4 times and pre-test and post-test will be conducted. With the stages of assigning classes, preparing questions according to the application of discovery Learning, conducting a pre-test, giving treatment, holding a post-test, and determining the difference in the average scores of children. Data analysis techniques using t-test with the help of SPSS program ver 16.0. The research hypothesis is that there is a significant increase in the naturalist intelligence of children about the natural environment in children after the application of the Discovery Learning approach. This can be seen from the results of data analysis obtained t = -20.3357 and p = 0.000. Data collection methods used are interviews, and tests. The research approach used is qualitative descriptive. Data analysis used is qualitative descriptive analysis. Subjects are 2 student with mild intellectual disability. Based on the analysis of results, both mild mental retardants have understood most of the treatment of dangerous objects and dangerous situations. The results of the tests and interviews above illustrate that dangerous objects that cannot be identified by both students are forks. In addition, students do not understand what should be done when an earthquake occurs outside the room. Students do not understand what to do at their own time and forget the direction to go home. Therefore, students need to be improved in identifying dangerous objects and how to use dangerous objects. Besides that, students' vigilance should be increased when facing earthquakes both indoors and outdoors. Knowledge of the steps that need to be taken during an earthquake. Autism is a developmental disorder in children characterized by behavioral disorders, communication disorders, and interaction disorders. Autism can be seen in children, before the age of 2 years. Problems faced by parents who have autistic children need solutions to adapt to the stress problems that befall them. Many autists have not been able to meet the needs of everyday life. Children with autism are generally more difficult to focus their minds on, so often children seem to change quickly and have difficulty completing tasks. This also makes autistic children often not independent. This literature study was created to illustrate how autistic children are trained to be independent, what are the factors that can affect autistic children. The environment, family, teachers, and people around autistic children have an important role to make autist children become independent.
