Studies show that improving Spiritual intelligence (SI) can improve everyone’s mental health.\u0000Problem-solving, meaning and purpose in life, overall well-being, resilience, and good intrapersonal\u0000and interpersonal relationships are all areas where spiritual intelligence can be employed. As Spiritual\u0000Intelligence is a key part of every human being, it focuses on numerous good results. SI is sometimes\u0000known as a spiritual quotient. Spiritual intelligence has an inevitable role in the life of every individual.\u0000It influences all stages of existence and increases mental health for one’s personal and professional\u0000progress. SI is also a helpful tool for a healthy lifestyle since it helps people to cope with stressful\u0000situations and recover from traumatic events. This article concludes that students, employees, and\u0000professionals need spiritual intelligence training to deal with challenging situations. Self-awareness\u0000and spiritual intelligence can be nurtured through mindfulness, psychotherapy, yoga, meditation, and\u0000psychoeducation. The necessities of psychological interventions are unavoidable in this present pandemic\u0000situation. Many research studies stress the importance of mental health and the need for appropriate\u0000mental health interventions.

Whilst the service, and its parent, a major Melbourne public hospital, refused to engage in any form of respectful conversation addressing the pain their Carelessness was causing, a creative community formed to express their feelings in art. Our aim was to create together, to initiate ‘soul repair’, to communicate with the health providers, and for the project to be of service in other organizations where client needs can easily be overlooked. It is a paper about the transformation of those involved from feeling isolated and intimidated by their experiences with the service and hospital, to feeling part of a collective of people doing something positive and uplifting as an act of Care.

The paper seeks to understand ethico-affective connection between the ‘truth methods’ employed by Gandhi (Satyagraha) and psychoanalysis as a technique, both passionately devoted to the quest of conscious/ unconscious truths. Both have been based on honest explorations of primal feeling, fears, and ever pervading intra psychic conflicts that humans constantly grapple with. The ethical and political plane of Satyagraha will be explored to situate its psychological significance of truth, using the psychoanalytic insights on Gandhi, by some eminent psychoanalytic thinkers such as Erik Erikson, AshisNandy, SudhirKakar and many others. The paper, as an ode to Gandhi and his explorations of truth, will help us understand its psychological characteristics underlying Gandhian values and its power of greatest transformative potential. One such psychological components of Satyagraha, identified by Erikson, was the critical significance of self-analysis paired with an attempt to understand another man’s inner conflicts. Secondly, how for Gandhi, the methods of confrontation with the enemy ( internal and external) was purely non-violent based on the acceptance of oneself as a person who also shares other’ s inner mechanisms. Thus, we find an idea of psychological interconnected and oneness permeating the human consciousness. Lastly, the paper will highlight the non separation of personal and political realm, which is the marker of Gandhian life philosophy, unique as it has been so far.

Raja Yoga explores Consciousness and its role in real life applications which could develop interest in Consciousness amongst Psychologists and Psychiatrists. Consciousness plays an important role in intention, attention, thoughts, feelings, emotions, behavior and health. Raja Yoga teaches how to use Consciousness as a King to control his State, consisting of ministers, subjects who are known as mind, intellect and five senses. Raja Yoga explains that mind and intellect do not have separate existence but they are just different functions of Consciousness itself. Raja Yoga helps to manage the psychological, biological, social and spiritual factors of human beings effectively. If Counselors understand Consciousness and apply them in therapeutic techniques, there will be better results than what is obtained now. This article of an individual Case-study is written based on 21years of self-observation on Raja Yoga practice (Dana, 2020) and its application on Counseling interventions.

It has long-term consequences associated with it like diabetes, hypertension, endometrial cancer and coronary artery disease. The prevalence of PCOS is rising in India, which are undergoing rapid transitions due to westernization. Appearance related issues e.g., hirsutism, acne, and obesity, the body image of PCOS women especially young girls (who are more concern for their body) have become more challenging. Thus the girls with PCOS have greater body dissatisfaction and low self esteem as it is exclusively based on body image. Negative perception of body image among PCOS girls include dissatisfaction with appearance, perceived loss of femininity, feeling less sexually attractive, and self-consciousness about appearance. However, due to limited literature on psychosocial impact for girls diagnosed with PCOS, especially in developing countries like India, its significance is still unfathomed. Keeping in mind the importance of body image and self esteem on physical appearance in young girls in the Indian culture the present review was undertaken.

Further, its importance is underscored by its preeminence as a source book of Indian Psychology. Indian Psychology is a modern appellation given to the extraction, compilation and consolidation, from Indian sources, of the principles of psychology based on the framework of concepts and categorisation of the western tradition of psychology. This article examines the deep insights into the human psyche as presented and intuited from the Bhagavad Gita and consolidates them into maxims. The examination of Indian Psychology is guided by Advaita Vedanta - which is one of the windows of interpreting the Bhagavad Gita. The generic and particular principles of Indian Psychology as seen through the lens of the Bhagavad Gita are then studied in apposition with the principles of modern psychology. This study yields an interesting set of observations about the common ground between the two disciplines: indicating what Indian Psychology could learn from Modern Psychology; and the unique insights that Indian Psychology offers which could contribute to a better understanding and handling of human existential crisis and its resolution through better informed existential quests. In an attempt to give a practical orientation, the article examines briefly the principles of Indian psychology that influenced the life of three national leaders who have publicly acknowledged their debt to the Bhagavad Gita, having been life-long students of the text viz. Lokamanya Tilak, Sri Aurobindo and Mahatma Gandhi. The uniqueness of their personality/leadership will be correlated to the Bhagavad Gita’s repository of the Principles of Indian Psychology.

The results indicate that female participants were more predominant of independent self-construal as well as interdependent self-construal than male counterparts. This study also compared the self-construal of male and females by using the Twenty Statement Test (TST).Self-statements were analysed in terms of five main categories (social identity, ideological beliefs, interest, ambitions and self-evaluation) and three others categories (private self, collective self and public self). Results indicated differential use of the main categories by male and females. Female participants score significantly higher on main categories of TST for collective self, public self, social identity and ambitions than their male counterparts while males scored significantly higher on private self, ideological beliefs and interests than females. In the context of values orientation, females scored significantly higher on religious value, democratic values than male counterparts while male scored significantly higher on hedonistic values and health values than their female counterparts. The present study was also analysed in terms of grade perspectives. It was found that there is no close polarization either in favour of independent and interdependent modes of self-construal at grade level. Finding also indicates that 12th grade participants scored significantly higher on main categories of TST for collective self, public self, social identities and ambitions than undergraduate participants while undergraduate participants scored significantly higher on private self, ideological beliefs and self-evaluations than 12th grade participants. Some categories of self-construal are positively related with some personal values while some are negatively related.

The latest assessment of our planetary environmental situation by scientists and environmental experts paints a frightening picture of the consequences should we fail to reach such a deep level of sustainability. Many of the SDGs such as ending poverty and converting civilization to sustainable extraction production, consumption, transportation and disposal are on the mark, but we have seen that they cannot be achieved under the unworkable UN system. Change the design of the system and you change the likely consequences of the system. It is as simple as that—and as profound as that. The Constitution for the Federation of Earth is a blueprint for human survival and flourishing. It is very brief, concise, and clearly designed. We can replace the unworkable UN Charter with the Earth Constitution and integrate all the valuable agencies of the UN into the emerging world federation. This is the way forward for humanity. Indeed, it is the only way to survive as a species within the limited time-frame available to us. Deep sustainability means real transformation of a broken world system. Deep sustainability means human coherence and synergy for truly addressing our most fundamental problems. Deep sustainability means ratifying the Constitution for the Federation of Earth.
