This study explores the relationship between exercise duration, menstrual disorder and the performance of women’s futsal athletes. This research method uses a survey. The subjects of this study were 22 female futsal athletes in the city of Cimahi. The instrument was a closed interview validated by a women's soccer expert (coach of the Indonesian women's soccer team) from STKIP Pasundan and tested on three participants who met the inclusion criteria. Descriptive analysis is presented as the mean and differences between groups were evaluated by t-test with a statistically significant level of p < 0.05. Descriptive analysis using SPSS software (version 21.0). This study reveals that the significance test with sig.0.13 <0.05 on the duration variable, which means that the exercise's duration directly affects the athlete's performance. In comparison, the menstrual cycle variable has a sig.0.91 value > 0.05, which means that the menstrual cycle does not directly affect the performance of female futsal athletes. However, the significant results showed no effect of the menstrual cycle on the performance of female futsal athletes. This study recommends that female futsal coaches pay attention to the duration of training during the menstrual period for each athlete to achieve optimal performance.","PeriodicalId":353164,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal SPORTIF : Jurnal Penelitian Pembelajaran","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130630068","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Twenty-four futsal players from the university's futsal team comprised men's (n=12) and women's (n=12) teams. The Futsal Skill Test (FST) is carried out on the futsal field and checks skills such as passing, controlling, dribbling, and shooting the ball as quickly as possible by making the minimum possible mistakes. The validity of the content is assessed using experienced futsal trainers and instructors. Data analysis in validity measurements was determined using known group differences between male and female university futsal players, then reliability was determined using Pearson's correlation coefficient (r), intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC), and variation coefficient (CV) between experimental repeats. The results showed that the variance equivalence test on Performance Time (Time Taken and Penalty Time) showed that F had been 0.048 (0.013 and 0.375) with a significance of 0.829 (0.910 and 0.547). Performance Time for men is different from that of female university players. T-test results for the quality of the means for Performance Time (Time Required and Penalty Time) t=-5.506 p=0.000 (t=-5.5277 p=0.000 and t=-2.060 p=0.051). The CV Time Taken, Penalty Time and Performance Time scores for male students were 6.97%, 28.46%, and 6.88%, for female students, were 6.81%, 19.63%, and 6.38%, both for male and female students were 6.89%, 24.04%, and 6.63%. The FST assessment is an apt score to describe the performance time, that the player with the faster time achieved from the futsal skill Test is more skilled. The Performance Time score consists of Time Taken and Penalty Time.","PeriodicalId":353164,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal SPORTIF : Jurnal Penelitian Pembelajaran","volume":"64 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114576684","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research aims to analyze the factors that give success in pointing throws. The method applied in this study uses descriptive correlational analysis to obtain a factor of determination on the results of the pointing throw. The subjects were 15 male athletes aged 15-17 years registered at FOPI Pati Regency with a total sampling technique. The results of data analysis show that the analysis of the physical component factors at pointing explains the formation of 3 components in the independent variable. This is shown in each component formed to have their respective contributions. Component 1 with member variables Eye-hand Coordination, Concentration, and Kinesthetic Perception has an effect of 42.937%, component 2 with member variables Arm muscle strength, wrist flexibility, and balancing have an effect of 19.403%, and component 3 with member variable Sleeve length has an influence of 13.508%. This study concludes that athletes with Eye-hand Coordination, Concentration, and Kinesthetic Perception will have a high pointing success rate on petanque.","PeriodicalId":353164,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal SPORTIF : Jurnal Penelitian Pembelajaran","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132711291","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This quantitative study uses a cross-sectional survey approach to collect data in a month to understand the relationship between leadership style and sports federation performance. Due to time constraints, the population of this study was only focused on members of the 46 elite sports federations in Central Java Province. Using purposive sampling as a sampling technique and obtained 127 respondents. Using the Guttman scale, the respondent filled out the questionnaire related to the humanistic, transformational, participatory, servant, and organizational performance leadership styles. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the four leadership styles have a positive relationship where if the leadership style is often used in organizational management, organizational performance will also increase as the servant leadership style is the highest correlation level among others though it is not the most widely used leadership style by elite sport federation leaders in Central Java Province. The servant leadership style is only used by 96.61% of sport federation leaders, but 98.95% of leaders use the participative or democratic style.","PeriodicalId":353164,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal SPORTIF : Jurnal Penelitian Pembelajaran","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133739640","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research investigates the motivations and challenges young Filipino (Batang Pinoy) athletes experience while pursuing careers in boxing. It purposively selected 10 young male boxing athletes who had already competed in provincial, regional and national games from the Bicol region, Philippines. Using a phenomenological approach, the participants participated in an in-depth interview using the validated interview questions. It reveals that poverty is portrayed as a great motivator of young athletes, where the life stories of successful world boxing champions serve as their basis. They are also influenced and supported by their peers and family in their boxing careers. However, insufficient facilities and fundings are mainly the cause of their struggles. This study serves as a call for the national governing body of sports in the country to further extend its efforts to support the needs of young potential athletes. Specifically, safety equipment and training, strengthening sports policies, and funding are necessary to solve these challenges.","PeriodicalId":353164,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal SPORTIF : Jurnal Penelitian Pembelajaran","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122921330","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Despite the importance attributed to physical education leadership, more empirical research evidence still needs to relate to the topic. The purpose of this review is to describe leadership research in physical education in the last five years (2018–2022). Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) were adopted for the research review, and two databases (Scopus and Web of Science) were used in article browsing. 741 articles were obtained from two databases (Scopus: 392 articles) and (WoS: 349 articles). After following the exclusion criteria, only 13 articles remained. The review succeeded in showing that Iraq publishes the most research, and quantitative, qualitative, mixed research (quantitative and qualitative) approaches, and heuristic approaches are the methods and types of research used, and then the review is divided into five research groups: (i) physical education teacher leadership, (ii) principals and departmental leadership, (iii) student leadership, (iv) school leadership, and (v) cultural leadership. Of these five groups, transformational leadership is the most frequently discussed topic. Future research can be continued with mapping analysis of research on this topic using bibliometric or scientometric studies. This literature review can also be continued by discussing the topic of leadership in sports.","PeriodicalId":353164,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal SPORTIF : Jurnal Penelitian Pembelajaran","volume":"54 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115429955","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
