The wild population will hurt the government. Therefore, the population growth rate must be controlled so as not to burden the national economy and to minimize the negative impacts that will occur later. Data collection was carried out by observation, interview, and documentation methods. The research subjects were employees of the Family Planning Office and the Women's Empowerment Agency (KBPPPA Office), and the community. Proof of data validity using inspection techniques. The research location was in The Police and Civil Service Police Unit for the City of East Kutai Regency. The City Civil Service Police Unit is a Regional Work Unit (SKPD) in the Regency. Research results found that the resource factor in the Control and Supervision of the Distribution and Sales of Alcoholic Beverages in the Sangatta Region of East Kutai Regency, as seen from the human resources and facilities used is adequate. However, in the field of resources, the existing rules cannot accommodate traditional alcohol types in monitoring, distribution, and sales. The communication process has been carried out through outreach to the community and actively coordinating with the sub-district and village parties to go directly to the community as the implementation target. Dispositions in the form of attitudes and commitments from the parties involved are felt to have a consistent commitment to carrying out their duties and the Bureaucratic structure with complete SOPs regarding implementing policies for controlling and supervising alcoholic beverages. It is hoped that the actions within the organization will be consistent.","PeriodicalId":352934,"journal":{"name":"East African Scholars Journal of Education, Humanities and Literature","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124808878","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

On the one hand, there is a controversy over what criteria are to be considered the most in the evaluation process. On the other hand, the perceptions students have of their teachers’ feedback tend to influence their learning behaviour. The aim of the present paper is to shed light on what relevant methods can help attain objectivity when evaluating EFL learners’ speaking. It also tries to know about the sample’s (2nd year students of English – university of Saida) stances about and reactions to testing and evaluating their speaking abilities. Two questionnaires were used and addressed to both students and teachers. The results confirm that the nature and the conditions of the evaluation process make it very hard to attain objectivity. In addition, students’ affective aspects in relation to evaluation have a relatively negative impact on their learning orientations of the speaking skills.","PeriodicalId":352934,"journal":{"name":"East African Scholars Journal of Education, Humanities and Literature","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115475418","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The objective is in an attempt to understand the socio-cultural perceptions that the community holds about ex-prisoners which makes re-integration difficult. Method: Both the qualitative and quantitative methods were used in data collection. This was done through techniques such as documentation, interviews, observations, focus group discussions and a review of literature. Analysis was done using the conflict, incapacitation and the equilibrium model theories respectively. This data was categorised into themes and sub themes such as community’s socio-cultural perceptions, family treatment and consequences of these perceptions on ex-prisoners. Results: Findings revealed that, the family is the determinant factor that helped ex-prisoners re-integrates in the society. This is because 11 out of 15 informants were able to re-integrate into society following the help and understanding from their families. By studying the cases of those rejected by their families, it can be deduced that, their crimes contributed enormously to this rejection. Nevertheless, if one puts aside the fact that they have been able to re-integrate without much problems, the prison is not a place one should be proud of being a member. We then confirmed the saying that the prison is the best place to keep all criminals. Conclusion: This article presents the entire life of ex-convicts while in prison and after (professional, political, economical, social, cultural, distractive and even religious). This will help us understand clearly the link between life in prison, and out of prison. This article is to know the professional activities that have been carried out in prison hence, the influence it might have on them on release back into mainstream society. The method used is normative legal research using statutory, comparative, and case approaches. The results show that marriage annulment creates legal consequences for children, assets, and third parties. Regarding the legal consequences for children, it has been regulated in Article 28 paragraph (2) of the Marriage Law and Article 75 (b) KHI for the benefit or benefit of the child where in an annulment of a marriage, the law does not retroactively apply to children. As for the division of assets, in this case, the original/innate assets of the parties must be returned to the original/original owner. Furthermore, for third parties who have a good faith, the legal consequences of the annulment of marriage do not apply retroactively, so civil acts committed by the husband/wife before the annulment of the marriage remain valid. They must be resolved by the husband/wife so that the third party is not harmed. 2. There are several differences regarding the causes of marriage annulment, one of which is contained in article 71 KHI, namely being able to practice polygamy without permission from the Religious Court. Marriage law regulations in Indonesia prohibit polygamy without the permission of the Religious Courts because the principle of marriage in Indonesia adheres to the principle of monogamy.
