In order to successfully apply the Blended learning model in teaching, in addition to investment and change from schools and teachers, the main factor is still the learners themselves, learners need to change their perceptions, find a suitable self-study method to bring out the full effect of the Blended learning model. Blended learning is increasingly popular in Vietnamese education. In the field of teacher training, blended teaching is considered as an effective form of training, helping learners improve and practice their pedagogical skills. The article focuses on analyzing perspectives on blended teaching. At the same time, it points out the importance, identifies the influencing factors and suggests the ratio between online and face-to-face teaching in blended teaching to achieve high efficiency in Vietnam.","PeriodicalId":352934,"journal":{"name":"East African Scholars Journal of Education, Humanities and Literature","volume":"214 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122441124","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study focused on identifying the causes of lisping in elementary school students. By analyzing factors such as psychological issues, neurological factors, environment, and genetics to determine the causes of lisping in children, we propose several solutions to address this speech disorder in elementary school students. Firstly, it is important to create a supportive and inclusive environment both at home and in school. Encouraging students to participate in language development activities, such as speech therapy or group discussions, is also recommended. These activities can help children improve their speech skills and enhance their ability to communicate. Additionally, seeking professional counseling and specialized treatment is an effective approach to addressing lisping. When encountering lisping issues, students should receive guidance and treatment from experts who specialize in this field.","PeriodicalId":352934,"journal":{"name":"East African Scholars Journal of Education, Humanities and Literature","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129414959","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In addition, some deviant behaviors lead to serious consequences not only for the students themselves but also for those around them, such as: Drinking alcohol and then driving; Substance use; Using motorbikes and electric scooters without wearing helmets also practiced by a large number of high school students. Male students have higher standard deviation behavior than female students. Educational measures and disciplinary forms for students' deviant behaviors are not appropriate. Grice's principle of 1975 gives the conventions by which a successful speech can be uttered. The key objective of the study is to analyse the type of speeches that conform to Gricean maxims and the maxim which is susceptible to violation. The types of speeches include persuasive, informative, and ritualistic. Descriptive research design was adopted and the target population was people of Kakamega County. Convenience sampling technique was applied to gather the speeches from the church, funerals, marriage ceremonies, learning institutions, media platforms, graduation ceremonies, and seminars. Secondary sources of data include speeches from the president and the governor. The research instruments included audio-tape recording, oral interview and observation until saturation stage was attained. Data was analysed in the table and textual form. It was found that ritualistic speeches flouted the maxim of quantity and manner. Persuasive speeches mostly violated three maxims. Most of the informative speeches conformed to all maxims. It therefore, recommends that ritualistic speeches are specific and mostly written and should not take more than 5 minutes. Persuasive speeches mostly flout the maxim of quality, quantity, and manner because some are informal and figurative. Informative speeches are formal and time-bound, therefore, conform to the maxims. Since Gricean principles could not account for political speeches, relevance theory was applicable to cover the deficit.","PeriodicalId":352934,"journal":{"name":"East African Scholars Journal of Education, Humanities and Literature","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114267616","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
