Reflection properties of fractional or intermediate solutions obtained using fractional curl operator are analyzed. It is shown that this approach is a useful technique for the description of solutions to the reflection problems for some known mediums in terms of the fractional order. Also new features of boundaries corresponding to fractional solutions can be derived. In this paper intermediate boundaries are modelled with BI slab with a PEC backing. Finally, using fractional derivative new boundary conditions are introduced. The problem of diffraction on strip with fractional boundary conditions is solved.","PeriodicalId":350740,"journal":{"name":"2007 8th International Conference on Telecommunications in Modern Satellite, Cable and Broadcasting Services","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2007-11-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123834845","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This can be done either by source amplitude or phase control and controlling element spacing. Further we wish to throw some light on performance enhancement even when element spacing is reduced. When in order to keep fix aperture we sometimes have to put the antenna elements close to each other than half wavelength. It is surprising to note that even in reduced spacing with some kind of distribution the array behaves well. The craving desire of engineers to go for super directive array forces researchers to study various polynomial distributions. We are discussing here Tschebyscheff polynomial method which is quite optimum for super directive or super gain design. This method absorbs most problems due to element space reduction and hence is very much useful when we wish to design antenna that will give good directivity.","PeriodicalId":350740,"journal":{"name":"2007 8th International Conference on Telecommunications in Modern Satellite, Cable and Broadcasting Services","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2007-11-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125147906","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The signal from a PLL synthesizer is used as a reference signal in the FLL in order to obtain a signal with characteristics like one originating from a free- running VCDRO having, in the same time, stability close to a signal from PLL. The two signals are compared at 40 MHz band where a IF filter is designed in order to limit a stability difference between a VCDRO and PLL. A control signal within the FLL loop is realized with microcontroller that ensures a very stable operation over a wide temperature range. The signal obtained in the presented way meets the desired stability with very low level of spurious signals and meets all requirements for LO signals in modern microwave systems.","PeriodicalId":350740,"journal":{"name":"2007 8th International Conference on Telecommunications in Modern Satellite, Cable and Broadcasting Services","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2007-11-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116403803","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Since the transmission medium quality is one of the key requirements for performance capabilities of these services, an analytical method for modelling of primary per-unit length parameters of twisted pair is described. This model is implemented in the existing software extended to allow for estimation of data rates on telephone subscriber loops for xDSL service. For the example of particular twisted pair telephone cable, an experimental measurement of its parameters is done, which is followed by their modelling using described software. At the end, comparison of experimental and modelled results of capacity for specific cable is presented.","PeriodicalId":350740,"journal":{"name":"2007 8th International Conference on Telecommunications in Modern Satellite, Cable and Broadcasting Services","volume":"64 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2007-11-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130282890","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The considerable decrease of measuring accuracy is caused by interconnection of the field source and the measuring antenna, and the results of measurements are also influenced by different objects which are near the measuring place, including people. In this connection, EMF measurements near-by radiation sources, i. e. in the near zone, have specific character. The noted features are the sources of numerous measurement errors both when calibrating antennas in standards and during conducting practical measurements in real conditions.","PeriodicalId":350740,"journal":{"name":"2007 8th International Conference on Telecommunications in Modern Satellite, Cable and Broadcasting Services","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2007-11-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130981342","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The fourth order dispersion influence on pulse propagation must not be neglected in case of using these new methods and lasers. The impact of fourth order dispersion on the pulse propagation in the presence of interference is the main subject of this paper. We considered the worst case of interference, i.e. case when phase shift of interference is pi. The resulting pulse shape at the receiver is obtained using analytical expressions that describe propagation along the fiber.
