Ku","doi":"10.17576/pengurusan-2020-58-04","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.17576/pengurusan-2020-58-04","url":null,"abstract":"ABSTRACT Drawing from the social exchange theory, the study extends the merits model of ICTR and examine the correlation of communication, transaction, and relational on relationship quality and e-loyalty towards the online travel agency (OTA). The data for the present study were collected from 190 tourists in Sabah, Malaysia. For our data purification and paths analysis, we employed structural equation modeling using PLS-SEM. The initial analysis of the current framework produces strong nomological validity. The path-coefficient analysis indicates that all dimensions of communication, transaction and relational have strong correlations as reliable antecedents for both trust and satisfaction. Correspondingly, the findings indicate that both of our latent constructs of relationship quality positively influence consumers’ sense of e-loyalty towards OTA. The bootstrapping analysis also offers credence on the relationship quality of trust and satisfaction as a significant mediator for e-loyalty. Limitations and recommendations for future research are also discussed and noted. Keywords: Social exchange theory; communication; transaction; relationship quality; e-loyalty; online travel agency ABSTRAK Dengan mengunakan teori pertukaran sosial sebagai dasar, kajian ini memperluaskan model merit ICTR dan mengkaji korelasi komunikasi, urus niaga, dan hubungan terhadap kualiti hubungan dan e-kesetiaan terhadap agensi pelancongan dalam talian (OTA). Data untuk kajian ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan seramai 190 orang pelancong di Sabah, Malaysia. Bagi tujuan pemurnian dan analisis data, kami menggunakan analisis pemodelan persamaan struktur dengan menggunakan PLS-SEM. Analisis awal rangka kerja semasa menghasilkan kesahan nominal yang kuat. Analisis koefisien membuktikan kesemua dimensi yang dikaji yang meliputi komunikasi, transaksi dan hubungan mempunyai korelasi yang kuat sebagai pendahuluan yang boleh dipercayai untuk kedua-dua konsep kepercayaan dan kepuasan. Sejajar dengan itu, penemuan daripada kajian ini turut menunjukkan bahawa kedua-dua pembolehubah laten bagi kualiti hubungan secara positif mempengaruhi e-kesetiaan pengguna terhadap OTA. Analisis bootstrapping turut menawarkan kesahihan terhadap konstruk kualiti hubungan yang terdiri daripada kepercayaan dan kepuasan sebagai mediator penting kepada e-kesetiaan. Batasan-batasan dan cadangan untuk penyelidikan masa depan juga turut dibincangkan. Hence, cultural tourism has a strong relationship with city branding. Given a city cannot build separate brands for its different stakeholders, city branding aims to tourists who might be investors or residents in the future. However, the understanding of the searching trend of online travelers is still limited. This study investigates tourism searching patterns and keywords volume related to cultural information through search engines and social media. The research sites include different tourism regions of Vietnam, which are Hanoi, Hue, Danang, Hoi An and Ho Chi Minh. Successful examples of creative cities all over the world are reviewed for technological platform-based communication in three different levels: primary, secondary, and tertiary. The findings show the dominance of central Vietnam cities as a tourism cluster. The study suggests implications for Danang city to use new technologies for city brand communication more effectively. Oleh itu, pelancongan budaya mempunyai hubungan yang kuat dengan penjenamaan bandar. Oleh kerana sebuah bandar tidak dapat membina jenama yang terpisah untuk pemangku kepentingannya yang berbeza, penjenamaan bandar mensasarkan pelancong yang mungkin menjadi pelabur atau penduduk di masa hadapan. Walau bagaimanapun, pemahaman mengenai tren carian pelancong dalam talian masih terbatas. Kajian ini menyelidiki corak carian pelancongan dan jumlah kata kunci yang berkaitan dengan maklumat budaya melalui enjin carian dan media sosial. Laman penyelidikan merangkumi pelbagai kawasan pelancongan di Vietnam iaitu Hanoi, Hue, Danang, Hoi An dan Ho Chi Minh. Contoh-contoh bandar kreatif yang berjaya di seluruh dunia ditinjau untuk komunikasi berasaskan platform teknologi dalam tiga tahap yang berbeza: utama, menengah dan tinggi. Using data from all non-financial firms listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) during the research period of 2010 to 2015, this research performs regression analysis. The results show that institutional investors can influence cash dividend payments. However, different types of institutional investors have different impacts on dividends. While foreign investors have a significant impact on the level of dividends, local institutional investors do not have a significant effect. Also, this research reveals that free cash flow and leverage have a negative influence on cash dividend policies, while firm size, market-to-book value of equity, and return on assets have a positive influence on cash dividend policies. Menggunakan data semua syarikat bukan kewangan yang tersenarai di Bursa Saham Indonesia (IDX) bagi tempoh penyelidikan 2010 hingga 2015, kajian ini melakukan analisis regresi. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahawa pelabur institusi bebas boleh mempengaruhi pembayaran dividen tunai. Walaubagaimanapun, perbezaan jenis pelabur institusi mempunyai kesan yang berbeza ke atas dividen. Selain itu, pelabur institusi bebas asing mempunyai keupayaan yang lebih besar dan lebih banyak insentif untuk mempengaruhi pembayaran dividen tunai berbanding pelabur institusi bebas tempatan. Kajian ini juga menunjukkan bahawa aliran tunai bebas dan leveraj mempunyai pengaruh negatif ke atas dasar dividen tunai, manakala saiz firma, nilai pasaran-kepada-nilai buku bagi ekuiti dan pulangan ke atas aset mempunyai pengaruh positif terhadap dasar dividen tunai. It has become a worldwide brand, cultured and structured industry. Nevertheless, Malaysia has witnessed low penetration of Islamic banking. Researchers documented several reasons allied with low market penetration of Islamic banking. Although Malaysian industrial sector is dominated by Small and Medium Enterprises, there is less information about small business owner’s intention to adopt Islamic banking. Following the Theory of Reasoned Action, this research includes attitude, social influence and business service factors effect on intention to adopt Islamic banking. The research followed positivist research philosophy and quantitative descriptive cross-sectional study design to explicate the relationship between small business owner’s attitude, social influence and business service on intention to adopt Islamic banking. 390 sample from Klang Valley region of Selangor state of Malaysia was considered for the study. Data was collected using survey method through the distribution of structured questionnaires. PLS-SEM was used to test the predictive relevance. The results indicate a strong positive relationship between attitude, social influence and business service on intention to adopt Islamic banking. Ia telah menjadi jenama di seluruh dunia, sebagai industri yang dikenali dengan budaya dan struktur. Walau bagaimanapun, penggunaan perbankan Islam di Malaysia masih di paras yang rendah. Penyelidik mendokumentasikan beberapa sebab yang berkaitan dengan penetrasi pasaran yang rendah bagi perbankan Islam. Meskipun, sektor perindustrian Malaysia didominasi oleh Perusahaan Kecil dan Sederhana (PKS), terdapat sedikit maklumat mengenai niat pemilik usaha kecil untuk menggunakan perkhidmatan perbankan Islam. Berdasarkan Teori Tindakan Munasabah, penyelidikan ini mengkaji sikap, pengaruh sosial, dan faktor perkhidmatan perniagaan yang mempengaruhi niat untuk menggunakan perkhidmatan perbankan Islam. Kajian ini mengikuti falsafah positivis dengan reka bentuk kajian kuantitatif dari pelbagai firma untuk mengkaji hubungan antara sikap pemilik perniagaan kecil, pengaruh sosial, dan perkhidmatan perniagaan mengenai niat untuk menggunakan perkhidmatan perbankan Islam. 390 responden dari Lembah Klang Selangor, Malaysia dianalisis untuk kajian ini. Data dikumpul melalui pengagihan soal selidik berstruktur. Kaedah PLS-SEM digunakan untuk menguji hubungan. The nature of this study is quantitative, cross-sectional and non-contrived. This study used a convenient sampling technique for the collection of data. Data were gathered from 315 customers who used to buy luxury fashion brands. This study has adopted a causal analytical approach by which hypotheses were developed and tested. For data analysis, correlation, regression, and descriptive statistics tests were carried out with the help of SPSS and mediation analysis was carried through AMOS. Findings approved that corporate association; symbolic benefits have limited impact on brand loyalty while functional benefits customer involvement and customer relationship proneness have a significant impact on brand loyalty. Findings suggest that emotional attachment fully mediates the relationship of corporate association, symbolic benefits, customer involvement, and brand loyalty, while emotional attachment partially mediates the relationship of functional benefits, customer relationship proneness, and brand loyalty. Keywords: Corporate branding; customer involvement; customer relationship proneness; brand loyalty; emotional attachment ABSTRAK Tujuan utama kajian ini adalah untuk membuat kajian terhadap rangka kerja teori yang menjelaskan peranan penjenamaan korporat (persatuan korporat, faedah simbolik, dan manfaat fungsi), penglibatan pelanggan dan hubungan kecenderungan pelanggan terhadap lampiran emosi pelanggan dan kesetiaan jenama dalam industri fesyen mewah. Kajian ini adalah berbentuk kualitatif, kajian rentas dan mengunakan sampel yang tulus. Kajian ini mengunakan teknik persampelan secara kebetulan untuk mengumpul data. Data telah dikumpul dari 315 pelanggan yang biasanya membeli pakaian berjenama mewah. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan analisis hubungan sebab akibat dengan hipotesis mana yang akan dibangunkan dan diuji. Untuk analisis data, korelasi, regresi dan ujian statistik deskriptif telah dijalankan dengan mengunakan aplikasi SPSS dan analisis pengantaraan dijalankan menggunakan AMOS. Penemuan telah membuktikan persatuan korporat; faedah simbolik mempunyai kesan terhad terhadap kesetiaan jenama manakala manfaat penglibatan pelanggan dan hubungan kecenderungan terhadap pelanggan mempunyai impak yang ketara terhadap kesetiaan jenama. Kajian juga mencadangkan bahawa keterikatan emosi memainkan satu fungsi yang menjadi pengantara penuh untuk persatuan korporat, faedah simbolik, penglibatan pelanggan, dan kesetiaan terhadap satu jenama, manakala keterikatan emosi pula menjadi pengantara separa kepada hubungan manfaat fungsi, hubungan kecenderungan pelanggan dan kesetiaan jenama. Absenteeism can be overcome by effective organisational intervention at the workplace. Therefore, this review was aimed to identify the important component in an organisational intervention to reduce absenteeism at work. Systematically, articles were searched from PubMed (PMC), Science Direct, Scopus (SciVerse) and Sociological Abstracts (ProQuest) from June 2013 to June 2018 using specific keywords. The input revealed 12 articles, including studies that measured absenteeism as the outcome regardless of working categories except for outdoor workers. Studies that involved all the domains in the intervention which were workplace environment, motivation and individual factors had given significant results in reducing absenteeism. Hence, the intervention at organisational level must use a comprehensive approach to ensure the target of reducing absenteeism at workplace is achieved and become sustainable. ABSTRAK Ketidakhadiran ke tempat kerja semakin meningkat disebabkan oleh beban kerja dan keletihan yang mengakibatkan peningkatan jumlah kemalangan di tempat kerja seterusnya menjejaskan kualiti perkhidmatan dan organisasi mengalami kerugian. Ketidakhadiran ke tempat kerja boleh diatasi melalui pengurusan organisasi yang berkesan. Oleh itu, kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti intervensi organisasi untuk mengurangkan ketidakhadiran ke tempat kerja. Pencarian artikel dilakukan dari Jun 2013 hingga Jun 2018 di pangkalan data PubMed (PMC), Science Direct, Scopus (SciVerse) dan Sosiologi Abstrak (ProQuest) menggunakan kata kunci tertentu secara sistematik. Hasil dapatan pencarian, sebanyak 12 artikel yang melihat kepada kesan intervensi dalam mengurangkan hari cuti sakit semasa bekerja yang melibatkan semua jenis pekerjaan kecuali pekerja yang bekerja di luar. Kajian yang melibatkan semua domain iaitu faktor persekitaran tempat kerja, motivasi dan individu dalam intervensi memberikan hasil yang signifikan dalam mengurangkan ketidakhadiran bekerja. Oleh itu, intervensi di peringkat organisasi haruslah menggunakan pendekatan yang menyeluruh dalam memastikan sasaran mengurangkan ketidakhadiran ke tempat kerja tercapai dan konsisten. Hence, the principal goal of this research is to examine factors influencing users’ trust in travel information provided in social networking services (SNS). Multiple regression analysis was the chosen method of data analysis to assess the hypothesized relationships. The findings revealed that users’ trust in travel information provided by SNS is heavily linked with perceived values. Users are heavily reliant on SNS as they consider SNS as reliable avenues to obtain recent travel information at anytime and anywhere to aid their decision making. At the same time, they are still concerned that their personal detailss are being misused by others without their consent. The quantitative results delivered instrumental understanding to the tourism-related organizations regarding the significant factors affecting users’ trust in travel information provided by SNS. It is vital for them to strongly uphold users’ trust the travel information by outlining effective marketing strategies and persuasive advertising campaigns regarding the companies’ travel products and services via the SNS which could trigger travel consumption and destination visit intentions and behaviours. Oleh itu, matlamat utama penyelidikan ini adalah untuk mengkaji faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kepercayaan pengguna terhadap maklumat perjalanan yang disediakan dalam perkhidmatan rangkaian sosial (SNS). Analisis regresi berganda adalah kaedah analisis data yang dipilih untuk menilai hubungan hipotesis. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahawa kepercayaan para pengguna terhadap maklumat perjalanan yang disediakan dalam perkhidmatan rangkaian sosial sangat dikaitkan dengan nilai yang dirasakan. Pengguna sangat bergantung kepada SNS kerana mereka menganggap saluran SNS boleh dipercayai bagi mendapatkan maklumat perjalanan pada bila-bila masa dan di mana sahaja untuk membantu mereka membuat suatu keputusan. Pada masa yang sama, mereka turut merasa risau bahawa butir-butir peribadi mereka akan disalahgunakan oleh orang lain tanpa persetujuan mereka. Hasil kajian kuantitatif ini memberikan pemahaman instrumental kepada pembuat dasar, kerajaan, dan organisasi mengenai faktor-faktor penting yang mempengaruhi kepercayaan pengguna terhadap maklumat perjalanan yang disediakan dalam perkhidmatan rangkaian sosial. However, studies on inability to cope with conflicting demands on work, family and distance learning among the distance learners in Malaysia have received little attention. In this article, a sample of distance learners (N=173) were utilized to examine the relationship between work-family conflict towards problem-focused coping, job satisfaction and emotional well-being, and to examine the mediating effect of problem-focused coping between work-life conflict towards job satisfaction and emotional well-being. The research model was tested upon Coping Theory and Self-Determination Theory. Results of Partial Least Square (PLS) demonstrated that work-family conflict has a positive influence only on problem-focused coping, and subsequently problem-focused coping was found to mediate the relationship between work-life conflicts towards job satisfaction and emotional well-being. Based on the findings, this research suggests the employers to enhance work-life balance policies and programmes especially for employed distance learners, and the management of distance education to improve student retention and completion rates by providing supports to the distance learners. Walau bagaimanapun, kajian tentang ketidakupayaan untuk menampung permintaan yang bercanggah dengan kerja, keluarga dan pengajian jarak jauh dikalangan pelajar jarak jauh di Malaysia telah mendapat sedikit perhatian. Dalam artikel ini, sampel pelajar jarak jauh (N = 173) telah digunakan untuk mengkaji hubungan antara konflik kerja-keluarga terhadap daya tindak berfokuskan masalah, kepuasan kerja dan kesejahteraan emosi, dan mengkaji kesan perantaraan daya tindak berfokuskan masalah antara konflik kerja-keluarga terhadap kepuasan kerja dan kesejahteraan emosi. Model penyelidikan diuji berdasarkan Teori Pengendalian dan Teori Penentuan Diri. Keputusan Partial Least Square (PLS) menunjukkan konflik kerja-keluarga hanya mempunyai pengaruh positif terhadap daya tindak berfokuskan masalah, dan seterusnya daya tindak berfokuskan masalah didapati mengantara hubungan antara konflik kerja-keluarga terhadap kepuasan kerja dan kesejahteraan emosi. This study used 2,578 firm-years of data from non-financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2008–2015. Audit quality was measured by discretionary accruals and abnormal working capital, and market concentration was calculated by the Herfindahl–Hirschman Index. The study found that market concentration decrease the accrual discreationer and improves audit quality. This outcome is likely because auditors experience in a particular industry have a better understanding of industry risk and will thus undertake better audit planning and procedures that tend to improve audit quality. So, regulators need to encourage public accounting firms to specialise in specific areas and have better knowledge of the industry to make audit quality better. ABSTRAK Kajian ini mengkaji impak penumpuan pasaran audit ke atas kualiti audit apabila peraturan diwajibkan penggiliran firma audit dilaksanakan di Indonesia. Kajian ini menggunakan data tahunan 2,578 firma bukan kewangan yang tersenarai di Bursa Saham Indonesia (IDX) bagi tempoh 2008-2015. Kualiti audit diukur menggunakan akruan boleh pilih dan modal kerja abnormal, dan penumpuan pasaran di kira menggunakan Indeks Herfindahl–Hirschman. Hasil kajian mendapati penumpuan pasaran mengurangkan penangguhan akruan dan meningkatkan kualiti audit. Hasil ini adalah kerana pengalaman juruaudit dalam sesuatu industri mempunyai kefahaman yang lebih baik ke atas risiko industri tersebut dan akan mempunyai perancangan dan prosedur audit yang lebih baik dan cenderung untuk menambahbaik kualiti audit. Oleh itu, pembuat dasar perlulah menggalakkan firma perakaunan awam untuk mengkhusus dalam bahagian tertentu dan mempunyai kefahaman yang baik dalam sesuatu industri untuk menjadikan kualiti audit yang lebih baik.
