The current research is determined by studying the variable (reassuring) of an important segment of society in all faculties of the University of Qadisiyah for the academic year (2021-2022) and the descriptive research method was adopted. The sample size was (400) teaching and teaching were chosen randomly. The researchers built a scale of the possessive entity style to achieve the objectives of the research, which in its final form amounted to _ (30) items. The items were divided into three areas according to Laing’s theory 11965 CE. As well as calculating the value of the reliability coefficient using the Cronbach's alpha coefficient, whose value amounted to (0.842). The scale was based on the total degree of skill, and the items of the scale were distinguished, and the values of the stability coefficient of the scale were calculated using the Crow-Nach-Alpha coefficient. T for two independent samples, and it was found that the level of Arabic language teachers’ possession of academic motivation decreased, as well as the teachers’ possession of academic motivation more than the parameters of the parameters according to the gender variable (males and females), and based on the results of the current research, a set of conclusions was reached, as The researcher recommended a set of recommendations and suggestions. To achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher built a scale for complex post-basic thinking based on the theory of Jean-Sinnott (Jan-sinnott, 1998). (Social context) and the adoption of the self-protection scale based on Murray’s theory, expressed by (Bahia, 2019). The scale consisted of (44) items distributed over three areas (embarrassing situations, avoiding the conditions of minimization, indifference from others). After verifying the indications of their sincerity and stability, the application is applied to the final research sample of (400) male and female students, who were tested using the stratified random method and on the basis of proportional distribution according to the variables (gender-specialty) and using the statistical package for social sciences (spss). The research reached the following results: 1. Complex post-basic thinking among university students. 2. The differences in complex post-basic thinking among university students according to the variables (male - female) and specialization (scientific – human). 3. Self-protection for university students. 4. Differences in self-protection among university students according to gender (male - female) and specialization (scientific - human) variables. 5.
