Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the academic motivation of Arabic language teachers and its female teachers, according to the gender variable, and the research is determined by the Arabic language teachers and female teachers, in the schools of education in Al-Qadisiyah Governorate, the primary stage, and for the academic year 2022-2021AD, the first semester, and the descriptive research method was adopted, and the size of the research was The research sample (259) male and female teachers of the Arabic language for the primary stage, were chosen by stratified random method, and by 10% of the original research community, which amounted to (2587) male and female teachers, and the researcher prepared the research tool to achieve the goal of the research, which is the academic motivation scale, which was composed in its image The final conclusion consisted of (33) items in five main areas, namely (achievement motive, perseverance, curiosity, cognitive motive, and level of ambition) based on the definition of Kotfried (1985), and the apparent validity and construction validity of the scale were verified, and the values of the correlation coefficients of the paragraphs’ degrees were calculated. The scale was based on the total degree of skill, and the items of the scale were distinguished, and the values of the stability coefficient of the scale were calculated using the Crow-Nach-Alpha coefficient. T for two independent samples, and it was found that the level of Arabic language teachers’ possession of academic motivation decreased, as well as the teachers’ possession of academic motivation more than the parameters of the parameters according to the gender variable (males and females), and based on the results of the current research, a set of conclusions was reached, as The researcher recommended a set of recommendations and suggestions.
