There are many factors which can influence students’ reading comprehension. This study aims to examine the effects of perception on school environment and vocabulary mastery towards students’ reading comprehension in the State of Senior High School in Tangerang Banten. Population in this research is 11th grade students of State Senior High School in Kota Tangerang Banten. The samples of the research were taken as much as 60 respondents from two schools of one sub-district with A accredited. The data were collected by giving two sets of objective test and one set of questionnaire as the instruments to the 60 students. This research is qualitative, it was carried out at SMK Negeri 4 Semarang, Indonesia. Since English is an international language so, people need to be able to speak English. The data collection method in this study is cluster random sampling, and the researcher chose two classes at the vocational school. They are XI Animation and XI Electronics Engineering. The data was obtained from an interview with the teacher from both classes and the final semester examination score that belongs to the students. This study aimed to optimize the students writing by implementating the clustering technique that technique help students to generate ideas. The method used the classroom action research as an appropriate method for this research. The subject in this research was done at SMP Negeri 02 Suhaid, Kapuas Hulu. This is a Junior High School which is located on Lintas Mensusai Street No.1 Mensusai, Kapuas Hulu Regency. The researcher conducted the research for 24 students’ of VIII class. In qualitative data finding based on the observation checklist and field note, the students very enthusiastic during teaching learning process and their showed positive attitude to the activities that were conducted by the researcher in clustering technique. Besides, there were some students who active and often asked the questions when they found some difficulties in writing. Moreover, in quantitative data finding had conclusion was that clustering technique could be used to improve the students’ writing skill. Because of the different pattern between the students’ mother tongue and English as the target language, students often make errors in producing sentences. The objective of the research is to find out what type of error which mostly appears when students use Simple Present Tense in descriptive writing. This research is a descriptive qualitative research combined with error analysis methodology using Surface Strategy Taxonomy. The research participants were 50 students of Bina Sarana Informatika University majoring Management. The result of the research showed that the most common errors made by students were misformation errors which happened as much as 54%. The second most common errors which appear in students’ descriptive writing were omission errors as much as 24% which number was not much different with addition errors as much as 20%. This research was conducted at the Daarul'Ulum Cihara school. The population of this study were students of class VIII Mts Darul Ulum Cihara which consisted of two parallel classes. They are class VIII A & VIII B. Each class consists of 25 students. This means that the total population of 50 students is taken as a sample. The data was obtained by giving the text to the students in the experimental and control groups. The data in this study were processed using Microsoft Excel and SPSS 25. The data was analyzed using the t-test formula. This analysis showed that t-count (-24.515) and two-sided significant = 0.000 <0.05. Many students have difficulty in the writing process. Based on the 2013 curriculum, which emphasizes collaborative and student-oriented learning where students can develop their thinking and knowledge skills by themselves. Based on the 2013 curriculum, there are four recommended learning models to be applied in learning English, one of which is Problem Based Learning. Problem based learning is the right model to solve students' problems in writing, especially in writing procedure text. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive case study research design. This study aims to investigate the implementation of Problem Based Learning in teaching writing procedure text and to investigate students' responses to teaching writing procedure text through Problem Based Learning. In this study, the subjects used were 21 twelfth graders. This study uses observation and interviews in data collection and research instruments. This study conducted observations for two meetings and conducted interviews with four students. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis. The result of this research is that the teacher implements Problem Based Learning in accordance with the existing stages. Another result is that students have a positive response to the implementation of Problem Based Learning, including Problem Based Learning (PBL) makes students feel comfortable, not bored, and having difficulties, Problem Based Learning (PBL) makes students more active, Problem Based Learning helps in developing students' thinking skills, and Problem Based Learning (PBL) helps students to write procedure text. Problem Based Learning model can be implemented in teaching writing procedure text.
