Pada awalnya penampilan mereka dikenal melalui media sosial TikTok. Keunikan dari pakaian yang mereka kenakan pada awal kemunculannya di TikTok adalah pakaian yang tidak bermerek, tidak mahal dan cenderung tidak lazimnya seperti pakaian pada umumnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan fenomena budaya pop ala Eka Satria Saputra alias Bonge dan Jeje dikomunikasikan dan dikenal serta diterima masyarakat melalui media sosial Tik Tok. Disini juga akan diurakan faktor-faktor yang dapat membuat masyarakat menerima budaya pop mereka. Untuk mengetahui elemen-elemen tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan paradigma konstruktivis. Ditemukan bahwa Bonge-Jeje dan rekan-rekannya melakukan konstruksi terhadap konten budaya pop yang mereka sebarkan. Konstruksi tersebut dimulai dari pemilihan media sosial, elemen visual, elemen audio dan gimmick. Diskusi berlangsung dalam bahasa Inggris, meskipun para partisipannya bukanlah penutur asli bahasa tersebut. Sebagai bagian dari masyarakat tutur Inggris-Indonesia, peserta English Talk berkomunikasi dalam bahasa Inggris menurut kaidah dan variasi linguistiknya sendiri yang khas. Maka tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pola komunikasi yang terbentuk selama berlangsungnya kegiatan English Talk tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi komunikasi. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui observasi dan wawancara mendalam. Informan penelitian terdiri dari Ketua Komunitas Ngabrink sebagai gatekeeper dan informan kunci, serta dibantu empat orang member lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa situasi komunikasi berupa diskusi kelompok membahas topik-topik yang dielaborasi menjadi tiga pertanyaan yang bertujuan agar member berani berbicara dalam bahasa inggris. Diskusi berlangsung secara kasual dan egaliter mengingat usia dan skema kognitif peserta yang relatif sama. Peserta diskusi juga berkomunikasi secara verbal dan nonverbal. The importance of mastering English language has motivated the Ngabrink Community in Bandung to initiate a weekly discussion program named English Talk. Discussion is conducted in English, even though all participants are not native speakers. As a part of English-Indonesian speech community, they have their own linguistic rules and varieties in communicating. So the aim of this research is to discover the communication pattern that is constructed during the English Talk activity. This study uses qualitative method with ethnography of communication approach. Data gathered by observation and in-depth interview. Informants in this research are: the chairman of Ngabrink Community as key informant and four other members. The result shows that communication situation in format of group discussion that discuss a topic elaborated into three discussion questions, intended for participants to talk confidently in English. They discuss in casual and egalitarian way, because they are almost in the same age and cognitive schema. Penelitian ini melihat bagaimana penerimaan budaya KPOP mampu mempangaruhi gaya hidup mereka dengan menggunakan analisis resepsi sebagai alat dalam penelitian ini. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan jika konsumsi konten yang secara terus – menerus mempengaruhi gaya hidup mereka, khususnya dalam hal pakaian dan hidup sehat. Selain itu juga menemukan bahwasannya dari kesepuluh responden yang di wawancara, mereka setengah diantaranya termasuk kedalam dominant – hegemonic dan sisanya negotiated code. Namun, penulis mendapati iklan SKM Frisian Flag Gold versi Susi Susanti dan Alan Budikusuma yang dipublikasikan channel youtube Frisian Flag Indonesia pada bulan Juni 2019. Ketertarikan penulis untuk meneliti dan mengkaji iklan SKM Frisian Flag Gold ini adalah untuk mengungkap komodifikasi makna sehat dan aktif serta ideologi apa yang dibangun dalam tayangan iklan tersebut, hal ini menjadi pembeda dari penelitian sebelumnya. Penulis menggunakan teori komunikasi ekonomi politik Vincent Mosco, serta pendekatan kualitatif data deskriptif. Teknik analisis yang dipakai adalah semiotika John Fiske, dengan mengkaji makna simbol pesan sehat dan aktif, melalui 3 level: (1) level realitas, (2) level representasi, dan (3) level ideologi. Di era 4.0 industri perfilman semakin berkembang pesat, salah satunya yaitu film yang mengandung unsur satire. Para produsen film berlomba-lomba menyampaikan makna film berupa sindiran kepada para politikus hingga pengusaha melalui perantara satire. Salah satunya yaitu film karya sutradara bong joon ho asal Korea Selatan yang berjudul Okja. Satire yang ditunjukkan di film ini bukan menyinggung soal politik dan pemerintah melainkan melawan kapitalisme pemilik perusahaan daging yang memproduksi babi hasil rekayasa genetika dan berupaya memperoleh laba besar tanpa memperdulikan dampak lingkungan yang terjadi. Peneliti melihat makna dan pesan yang tersembunyi melalui perantara satire yang akan disampaikan dari film Okja, dengan menggunakan teori semiotika John Fiske yang membagi tanda ke dalam tiga level yaitu level realitas, level representasi dan level ideologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif analisis deskriptif. Tujuan penelitian disini yaitu untuk menjelaskan film Okja sebagai media penyampaian kritik sosial budaya kapitalisme melalui perantara satire kepada khalayak luas. The main question discussed is: how is the application of Narrative Theory in the context of health communication in the last four years. For answering this research problem using qualitative methode, a study based on a systematic literature review was conducted. The research was conducted using Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic narrative theory, communication in health (Results) Narrative theory in the context of health is considered to function effectively to prevent disease. This is because a delivery with this narrative is easier for people to remember. In addition, the narrative is also used to help the healing process by placing narration as a vessel to express one's feelings. The narrative is also considered motivating in managing emotions for healing. The use of narrative in the patient's healing process does not stand alone but is used as a complement to the healing process, in addition to medication and physical therapy. Currently, narratives can be mediated digitally. However, this competition can help the sustainability of MSMEs in formulating strategies and switching to selling their products online. Various strategies can be used in e-commerce, one of which is the flash sale countdown timer program. Social media activities and flash sales promotions were able to boost sales figures after the product launch. MSME actors who enter the world of e-commerce also interact with potential buyers by holding live streaming with the aim of utilizing technological developments to reach consumers more broadly. Thus, being able to bring changes to consumer habits, they prefer to shop from home because it is easy, practical, and there are many attractive promos. Therefore, this study was made with the aim of examining the relationship between flash sale countdown timer, live streaming e-commerce on the formation of impulsive buying which is strengthened or weakened by the presence of in-home shopping tendency. Hypothesis testing is done by analyzing Partial Least Square – Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS software. The method used in the research is qualitative method with phenomenological approach. The data collection technique in this study used in-depth interviews to five Covid-19 survivors who conducted self-isolation in Bandung. The theory used is the theory of symbolic interaction. The results of this study showed that the self-meaning of Covid-19 survivors who conducted self-isolation in this study was categorized as follows: a) fear; b) uncomfortable feeling and distrust others; c) feel sad to be temporarily separated from the family; d) feel bad for others; e) feel loved and cared for by others. Then the experience of internal communication of Covid-19 survivors with family, namely: a) maintaining physical distance and always using masks; b) communicate with electronic devices; c) communicate by shouting; d) communicate using the bell; e) given helpness in order to fulfill daily needs. This is due to the plurality and heterogeneity of Indonesian society which is reflected in the form of cultural diversity, religion, lifestyle in society which is quite complex. In the history of West Kalimantan Province, various horizontal conflicts have alternated, including 1997 and 1999, the Madura conflict with Malay/Dayak etc. The number of fatalities and material losses is incalculable. Singkawang is one of the 12 Level II Regions and 2 Cities in West Kalimantan Province. This city was included as the most tolerant city in Indonesia in two selections by the SETARA Institute. There were hardly any outbreaks of escalating conflict, even though the city is predominantly inhabited by ethnic Malays and Chinese from the Hakka or Khek sub-ethnic. This qualitative research with case study method was conducted with the aim of knowing and describing the potential of the people of Singkawang City from the aspect of harmony. The research was conducted by collecting data through interviews with three resource persons living in Singkawang and Pontianak, namely with researchers from the Institute of Dayakology, Malay ethnic leaders and Dayak ethnic leaders. Another data collection technique was to collect data from research sources, internet journals and from various books. The conclusion of this study is that there are several supporting factors that make the Singkawang people live in harmony. Namely, among others, regional leaders who are considered to represent ethnic groups in Singkawang City. Then the people feel that the city government treats them fairly. This political recognition can be seen from the celebration of religious holidays of each religion which is carried out lively. However, the period leading up to and after the Pilkada is one of the factors to watch out for that can trigger conflict.
