The research methodology involves a qualitative analysis of the writings of Ibn Qutaibah and Ibn Sallam Al-Jumahi. The historical and cultural context in which these two scholars were writing is also considered in order to better understand their views on poetry criticism and how they reflect broader trends in Arabic literature. The data obtained are from books by the two critics, Al-Shi'r wa Al-Shu'ara and Tabaqat Fuhul As-Shu'ara. By comparing the two thoughts, the results of this study reveal that both Ibn Qutaibah and Ibn Sallam Al-Jumahi had similar criteria for evaluating poetry but differed in their emphasis on certain aspects of poetic form and content. Ibn Qutaibah concludes his assessment of the identity of poetry because his criticisms by looking at the suitability of its 'Arudh and Qafiyah. The ability to read is the basis for developing one's language skills because Arabic is always related to Arabic texts. The problem found by researchers at Madrasah Diniyah Almunawarotul Banat is the need for students' ability to read and understand the contents of Arabic texts. This study aims to improve the reading skill (maharah qiraah) of fifth-grade students at Madrasah Diniyah Almunawarotul Banat in learning Arabic using the Strip Story method. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) that focuses on action research, which consists of two cycles, with the subject being fifth-grade students at Madrasah Diniyah Almunawarotul Banat, a total of 20 people. The results of this study indicate that the method of story strips can improve students' ability to read Arabic texts. In the first cycle, only a small number of students could read Arabic sentences, with an average of 66.5%. In this case, the Arabic curriculum in Indonesia used the 2013 curriculum regulations or known as K13 (Kurikulum 2013), while Malaysia uses KSSR (Kurikulum Standart Sekolah Rendah) and KSSM (Kurikulum Standart Sekolah Menengah) regulations in its implementation. The curriculum is a series of plans to streamline teaching and learning. The Arabic curriculum is a set of Arabic learning plans, objectives, and materials systematically compiled to carry out the learning process properly. This research used a qualitative approach. The research method used is library research. The data used as a source for writing are archives obtained from the ministries of Indonesia and Malaysia. Data collection techniques are obtained from documentation by selecting, searching and analyzing data from the literature or sources related to the problem under study. Based on the study's results, it is known that the presentation of material in the K13 and KSSR/KSSM curricula has differences. In its production, K13 emphasizes more on memorizing Arabic vocabulary and grammatical and morphological abilities. In contrast, the KSSR / KSSM curriculum emphasizes four primary skills: listening, reading, speaking, and writing. This seems monotonous and makes the participants bored with learning. This study aims to explore vocabulary learning activities using the Charades game and participants' responses related to it. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative method with observation and documentation as an instrument for collecting data. Data analysis techniques with the Miles and Huberman model; data reduction, data display, and conclusions. This research shows that this game contributes theoretically and practically to the research. In theory, picture guessing is an attractive, easy, and straightforward game with positive results in vocabulary learning activities. In practice, there are five steps to the game; 1) dividing participants into two teams, 2) writing vocabulary, 3) flipping coins, 4) demonstrating vocabulary, and 5) adding up all points. Positive responses were obtained from the questionnaire given to 20 participants in the form of vocabulary learning with the Charades game was more interesting, more accessible, and more transparent and could increase motivation to learn vocabulary. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach using participant speakers. Three Indonesian participants recited Surah Al-Fatihah in the mosque environment. Data collection techniques are listening techniques using audio, observation, and interviews. Data analysis used is data reduction with raw data in the form of audio recordings and using a Praat Analysis Computer. This study obtained data on the characteristics and factors that influence the speech articulation of letters B and Ba spoken by Indonesians as non-Arabic speakers. This research used a descriptive qualitative method with Spadley's (1980) data analysis. The result of this research is the finding of 276 data of file muta'addi based on its relationship with maul bih (object), which is fill muta'addi bi nafsihi and fill muta'addi bi gharial. Based on time, Al-Ghulayaini (2007) divides fill muta'addi into mādhī, mudhāri, and amr. There were 343 using translation techniques from 11 translation techniques. In this study, 214 data were translated accurately, acceptably, and with high readability. The final assessment score of translation quality is 2.84 and is categorized as high-quality translation. This research will employ a qualitative approach to analyze the life and experiences of Nyai Ontosoroh using Bourdieu's critical reading framework. The study will utilize secondary sources to identify and categorize the different forms of capital available to the character and examine how they intersected with her experiences of postcolonialism and gender stereotypes, which provides a lens to understand how people can leverage different forms of capital to achieve their goals. Through this analysis, the study discovered that Nyai Ontosoroh was able to take advantage of the capitals provided by her illegitimate husband to navigate the difficulties of being a woman in the era. The findings of the research showcase the remarkable abilities of Nyai Ontosoroh in utilizing her capitals and highlight the critical role of social capital in shaping the experiences of women during this historical time. The topic of the news studied is the Kanjuruhan tragedy. The method used is descriptive method, to describe the use of a vocabulary and grammar in writing news. In this regard, the opinion of Roger Fowler et al. In developing his analytical model, Roger Fowler et al used Halliday's explanation of the structure and function of language as a basis. The functions and structures of this language form the basis of grammatical structures, where grammar provides tools to be communicated. Vocabulary and grammar used in several online media in reporting on the kanjuruhan tragedy tend to marginalize victims. The author focuses more on the perpetrators, while the victims are ignored. The vocabulary used tends to be classifying vocabulary, limiting view vocabulary, discourse battle vocabulary and marginal vocabulary. The grammar used is passivation and nominalization which results in the elimination of the perpetrator, and the victim tends to be the trigger for the events that occur.Keyword : Grammar vocabulary, news ABSTRAKArtikel ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan strategi penggunaan kosakata dan tata bahasa yang terdapat dalam berita beberapa media online.  Adapun topik berita yang dikaji adalah mengenai  tragedi Kanjuruhan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif,untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan sebuah kosakata dan tata bahasa dalam menulis berita. Sekaitan dengan hal tersebut yang dijadikan landasan pada artikel ini adalah pendapat Roger Fowler dkk, .Dalam membangun model analisisnya Roger Fowler dkk menggunakan penjelasan Halliday mengenai struktur dan fungsi bahasa sebagai dasar. Fungsi dan struktur bahasa ini menjadi dasar struktur tata bahasa, dimana tata bahasa itu menyediakan alat untuk dikomunikasikan.  Kosakata dan tata bahasa yang digunakan pada beberapa media online dalam memberitakan tragedy kanjuruhan cenderung meminggirkan korban. Penulis lebih berfokus kepada pelaku, sementara korban diabaikan. Kosakata yang digunakan cenderung  kosakata membuat klasifikasi, kosakata membatasi pandangan, kosakata pertarungan wacana dan kosakata marjinal. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk mekanisme pertahanan diri tokoh utama dalam novel Represi karya Fakhrisina Amalia. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan psikologi sastra. Data penelitian berupa kata, frasa, dan kalimat yang mengandung mekanisme pertahanan diri. Sumber data penelitian berupa novel Represi karya Fakhrisina Amalia. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa teknik baca dan teknik catat. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi teori dan triangulasi sumber data. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui empat tahap, yaitu persiapan dan pengorganisasian data, reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. The theory used is the theory of travel literature with the concept of representation of others according to Carl Thompson. Travel literature is a report about the world that is written based on the author's subjectivity and has a role in shaping the reader's knowledge. The results of the analysis show that the novel Geni Jora uses exploratory journey narratives and presents critical and courageous subjects. Morocco is described as a tolerant Islamic country because it succeeded in combining European modernity with past Islamic religiosity and Jewish culture. While Syria is described as a modern country, it is less religious and too Westernized. Likewise, Jordan is described as an Islamic country, but too westernized and inconsistent with Islamic ethics. The novel represents a contemporary travel literary genre that presents alternative and realistic narratives about the condition of the Middle East as a complex and diverse region.
