Therefore, an animal-friendly and at the same time reliable method of collected of samples from poultry flocks is needed. A simple method would be a significant improvement in the control of avian influenza, especially in poultry-intensive regions. Swab samples in/on drinkers can easily be taken. When taking water, every animal with a respiratory infection leaves small amounts of its respiratory secretions (mucus) in/on the drinkers. Even before the first clinical signs appear in a flock, the influenza virus is already in small amounts of mucus particle in the drinkers present. By sampling swabs in/on many drinkers in the barn these smallest amounts of respiratory murus from infected birds in the flock can be detected by PCR-technic. In contrast to the faecal samples, the samples from the drinkers contain only a small amount of DNA and RNA from microorganisms \u0000The PCR results from this field study allow the conclusion that swabs from the drinkers in the barn yield very reliable and very important information about the presence of avian influenza viruses in a poultry population. However, it is important to take swab samples from many drinkers in the barn. An Influenza monitoring with swab samples from drinkers is rapid, sensitive, specific, reliable, inexpensive and can be taken easily by individuals, regardless of the age and the number of birds in the flock. Detecting the avian influenza virus in infected flocks with swab sampling in/on drinkers is an animal-friendly process with an improvement in the statistical significance of the infection status of a flock.

The research is descriptive and exploratory, with a mixed approach, the primary sources were taken in-situ and documentary information (PDOT and INEC), while the secondary information was through bibliographic information, a baseline was preliminarily made where surveys were applied to a sample of 376 citizens, later 47 indicators divided into 4 axes and seven surroundings were evaluated, and at the end a matrix of strategies was proposed. The results regarding citizen perception showed that citizens do not have knowledge about the issue of environmental sustainability and are still reluctant to receive informative training on the subject. The 47 indicators divided into four axes showed for: E1 6.94%; E:2 4.69%; E3: 13.29%; E4 12.50%. The total of all the axes reached a score of 155 points (37.52%), which according to the qualification equivalence is in the INSUFFICIENT range (25-49%), these results showed that the evaluated area does not present urban sustainability, for which 32 strategies are derived aimed at improving the problems encountered. It is concluded that in the La Maná canton, due to political, territorial, es and cultural factors, there is no social, economic and environmental sustainability that allows reaching the categories of sustainable urban city.

Marsupials represent a group of mammals with a long evolutionary history in this territory. Few species have been historically recorded in the province of Santa Fe, and most of these records come from the north and center of the province. In the present contribution we analyze the distribution patterns and habitat preference of didelphids present in the south of Santa Fe province. The study area corresponds to the Carcarañá river basin and the methodology used was: standardized line transects in search of signs of activity, camera traps and analysis of Tyto furcata pellets. In order to establish associations between the records of presence and the environmental variables studied (distance to roads and wire fences, ground cover, etc.), a geographic information system was generated. As a result, 3 species were recorded: Didelphis albiventris, Lutreolina crassicaudata and Monodelphis dimidiata. The principal component analysis showed that distance to urban centers, type of cover and vegetation heterogeneity are the variables that best explain the presence records of the species under study. Although the number of specimens is low, the results are relevant because these species have been little studied in Argentina and there are few or no records in the area. The transformation and degradation of the natural habitat due to the advance of the agricultural frontier is the main threat to these species.

According to consumers, coconuts, after being consumed in water, are mostly destined for dumps and sanitary landfills that accumulate material annually, with a very voluminous shell and a decomposition time of up to 10 years. Note the possibility of obtaining oil and biodiesel from the pulp, thus being able to obtain a low cost oil for the production of biodiesel. The project in question seeks to carry out characterization tests of the density and specific mass and oxidation time of the Biodiesel obtained from the residual oil. The extraction of oil from the coconut pulp was performed using hexane from the Soxhlet extractor. Thus, it was verified that the percentages of extractive yield between 35 and 37% in oil mass, the results of acidity 0.37 mg KOH/g, density 0.887 kg/dm3 and specific mass 75.78%, meeting the ANP parameters for oils, coconut oil was later used for the synthesis of biodiesel from transesterification with a basic catalyst (KOH), at 45ºC, the time of oxidative stability of biodiesel was measured in a rancimeter, obtaining a time of 6h, being considered average, necessary the addition of stabilizers, while the dry coconut biodiesel exceeded the maximum analysis time of 12 hours, being even more stable.
