Furthermore, waiting times for free charging points must be short to enable a fast onward journey, and this also on days with heavy traffic volumes. To determine the required number of charging stations in more detail, a model was created that simulates the process of arriving and leaving cars at a charging park based on real traffic data. For the traffic data, a location and date in the Munich region were chosen that represent a peak demand and thus a “worst case” scenario. The ability to cover such scenarios as well seems to be important because otherwise severe congestion with long waiting times would appear on days with heavy traffic, which would make the use of EVs very unattractive. To achieve this goal, a survey was conducted to analyze changes in student mobility patterns before and during the pandemic. The research was conducted in March 2021, during the pandemic, and for its purpose, information was collected on various aspects of student mobility, including the form of study, destination, mode of transportation, and shopping location. The sample group consisted of university students from different backgrounds, and various features, including age, gender, residence, and driver's license status, were considered. In addition, the study examined the impact of COVID-19 on student mobility. More specifically, a mixed-objective and multi-objective linear programming model is developed to achieve a sustainable balance: at the economic level, to reduce the logistics costs associated with the production chain as well as to reduce the environmental impacts in the form of carbon dioxide emissions generated during transport, while at the social level, integration through job creation into a three-echelons fruit supply chain including producers, intermediaries and retailers. The model is applied to four scenarios, whose analyses determine the importance of supply chain costs that cannot be neglected but which lead to an optimum that also reduces environmental burden and increases social welfare. The absence of international agreements regulating the limit of the liability limit of freight forwarders makes it difficult for customers to find freight forwarders with the most favorable conditions. A large number of factors, such as the type of forwarding contract, the country of registration of the forwarder, the status of the forwarder, existing international agreements, etc. can significantly affect the degree of liability of the forwarder. In this paper, the legislation regulating forwarding and the activities of the multimodal transport operator will be considered. In addition, the standard conditions of the forwarding contract, the most commonly used in the selected countries, will be analyzed. The reduction in population mobility resulting from national anti-pandemic measures led to the fact that carriers in the Slovak Republic began to optimize and limit the rail transport performance. Several measures were also implemented to reduce the risk of the spread of the COVID-19 disease so that passengers feel safe while traveling by train. Globally, we are entering the third year of coronavirus, and the pandemic is expected to continue even this year. For this reason, forecasting passenger demand for rail transport is becoming increasingly important and it is necessary to take measures in public passenger transport that will consider the reduced mobility due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This applies to companies that produce goods as well as to those that provide services, and public transport is not different. Nowadays, people prefer individual transport. In the Slovak Republic, individual transport is perceived as an expression of personal prestige and freedom. On the other hand, however, it places a heavy burden on road infrastructure and has a great impact on the environment. In this paper, the authors aim to present the information obtained through a questionnaire survey focused on customer satisfaction and preferences in public mass transport in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. As part of the statistical evaluation, the interdependence of two quantitative variables (ownership of a passenger car versus the purpose of the public mass transport customer’s trip) will be observed. During the pandemic, the travelling public tended to choose private motor vehicles, bicycles, or walking as their mode of transport to work or other activities. This fact was also the subject of our research based on the analysis of data on public passenger rail transport in the individual regions of the Slovak Republic and based on data analysis performed, also in urban transport in the city of Žilina. Mobility in the city was investigated and analysed based on detailed monitoring of the use of the means of transport on a specific trolleybus line No. 67, where a hybrid trolleybus Škoda 26TrA Solaris was deployed. Innovative trends are identified through a comprehensive investigation, and their impact on individual jobs in the transport, logistics and postal services sector is determined. New methods and work procedures are expected, which require an educated workforce with new professional knowledge. The COVID-19 pandemic had a fundamental impact on the development of innovations, which accelerated the digitalization process in many areas. This is an analytical overview study. In the introduction, we offer an overview of the main historical milestones on the topic of drones. We then provide a classification and explanation of the main types of drones. The main part of the article contains structured information about the drone market, its status in terms of market shares and relative market shares. For a structured view of this market, we used the BCG method: we calculated the market growth and relative market shares. This market is dynamic and growing gradually. Established brands forming a strong competitive environment. In the photo-video segment, the Chinese brand DJI has a strong and dominant position.
