Therefore, it is necessary to study the fragmentation mechanisms of chemical compound that identified from avocado peel to study the rules of the fragmentation reaction that occurs Sample analysis was examined using Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) with ionization Electron Impact (EI). Two compounds foun in avocado peel are 1,2,4-trihidroksiheptadek-12,16-diyne and 1,2,4-trihidroksiheptadek-16-yne-18-ene following the principle of even electron positive (EE+) which tends to always form even electron positive (EE+) and even electron neutral (EE0). The fragmentation mechanisms in both compounds are σ bond dissociation reaction and i cleavage which forms even electron positive (EE+) and even electron neutral (EE0). The fragmentation mechanism of the compounds in avocado peel can be estimated through interpretation of GC-MS mass spectra with base peak m/z 87. Keywords : Persea americana Mill.; GC-MS; fragmentation; 1,2,4-trihidroksiheptadek-12,16-diyne; 1,2,4-trihidroksiheptadek-16-yne-18-ene ABSTRAKPenyidikan struktur ion-ion fragment serta reaksi fragmentasinya sangat penting dan perlu dilakukan untuk dapat merekonstruksi kembali struktur kimia sampel yang diperiksa. Oleh karena itu, perlu diketahui mekanisme fragmentasi senyawa kimia yang diidentifikasi dari sampel kulit buah alpukat untuk mengetahui kaidah reaksi fragmentasi yang terjadi. Analisis sampel dilakukan menggunakan Gas-Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) dengan cara ionisasi Electron Impact (EI). Dua senyawa yang terkandung dalam kulit buah alpukat yaitu senyawa 1,2,4-trihidroksiheptadek-12,16-diena dan senyawa 1,2,4-trihidroksiheptadek-16-ena-18-una mengikuti kaidah fragmentasi ion elektron genap positif (EE+) cenderung untuk selalu membentuk ion elektron genap positif (EE+) dan molekul elektron genap netral (EE0). Mekanisme fragmentasi pada kedua senyawa tersebut terjadi melalui reaksi dissosiasi ikatan σ dan reaksi pemutusan induktif membentuk ion elektron genap positif (EE+) dan molekul elektron genap netral (EE0). One plant that is empirically and based on scientific data has anti-acne properties is bitter melon (Momordica charantia L). In pare fruit extract contains flavonoids which are thought to be able to act as active compounds in the form of anti-acne. This study aims to formulate bitter melon extract as an anti-acne gel and determine the inhibition of bitter melon extract gel against acne-causing bacteria, namely Staphylococcus epidermidis and Propionibacterium acne. Pare fruit extract gel with 3 variations of extract concentration, namely 5%, 7.5% and 10%. Evaluation of gel preparations included organoleptic test, homogeneity, spreadability, pH, viscosity, and irritation test. Data analysis using Oneway ANOVA. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that bitter fruit extract (Momordica charantia L) can be formulated as an anti-acne gel, and the preparation of bitter fruit extract gel (Momordica charantia L) at a concentration of 10% has a inhibition of 10 mm against Staphylococcus epidermidis and 7, 1 mm against the bacterium Propionibacterium acne which is included in the medium category. Keywords: Acne, Extract, Gel , Stahpylococcus epidermidis, Propionibacterium acnes  ABSTRAK Jerawat merupakan penyakit kulit berupa peradangan pada lapisan polisebaseus yang dipicu oleh bakteri Staphyloccoccus epidermidis dan Propionibacterium acnes. Salah satu tanaman yang secara empiris dan berdasarkan data ilmiah memiliki khasiat antijerawat adalah buah pare (Momordica charantia L). Dalam ekstrak buah pare terkandung flavonoid yang diduga dapat berperan  sebagai senyawa aktif sedian antijerawat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  memformulasikan ekstrak buah pare sebagai gel antijerawat dan menentukan daya hambat gel ekstrak buah pare terhadap bakteri penyebab jerawat yaitu Staphylococcus epidermidis dan Propionibacterium acne. Gel ekstrak buah pare dengan 3 variasi konsentrasi ekstrak yaitu 5%, 7,5% dan 10%. Evaluasi sediaan gel meliputi uji organoleptik, homogenitas, daya sebar, pH, viskositas, dan uji iritasi.Analisis data menggunakan ANOVA Oneway. The elemental impurity assessments have been based only on the heavy metal test, but ICH Q3D assessments requires specific method for each elemental impurity. To quantify the amount of the elemental impurities require a special instrument, The United State Pharmacopeia (USP) suggests the use of Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) as instrument in its tests. Indonesia National Agency of Drug and Food Control as the regulatory agency has not issued a special regulation related to the elemental impurities but some pharmaceutical companies in Indonesia who export their products to ICH member countries have conducted the risk assessment of elemental impurities especially the pharmaceutical companies with Foreign Investment. Keywords : ICH Q3D, Elemental Impurities, Analysis Method, Risk Assessment.  ABSTRAK Peraturan yang dikeluarkan The International Council for Harmonisation (ICH) dalam ICH Q3D membuat industri farmasi perlu menerapkan penilaian resiko terhadap unsur pengotor pada produk obat yang mereka produksi. Sebelumnya, penilaian unsur pengotor selama ini hanya berdasarkan pengujian terhadap logam berat namun ICH Q3D mewajibkan pengujian spesifik untuk tiap unsur pengotor. Upaya untuk mengetahui unsur pengotor yang merupakan unsur logam memerlukan instrument khusus, dan pada United State Pharmacopeia (USP) menyarankan penggunaan Inductively coupled plasma (ICP) sebagai instrumen dalam pengujiannya. Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan Republik Indonesia sebagai instansi regulatory saat ini belum mengeluarkan regulasi khusus terkait unsur pengotor namun beberapa perusahaan farmasi di Indonesia yang melakukan proses ekspor produknya ke negara anggota ICH telah melakukan kajian resiko unsur pengotor terutama perusahaan farmasi dengan Penanaman Modal Asing (PMA). Kata Kunci : ICH Q3D, Unsur Pengotor, Metode Analisis. Macapruinosin A (1) is one stilben derivatives with an irregular sesuiterpenyl side chain was isolated from the leaves of Macaranga aleuritoides. The structure of the isolated compound were determined by spectroscopic methods, including UV, IR, 1D and 2D NMR. The anticancer activity of macapruinosin A towards murin P-388 cells showed IC50 value of 1.65 μg/mL and showed high activity.Keywords : Macaranga aleuritoides, macapruinosin A, stilbenoid, anticancer. ABSTRAK            Macaranga aleuritoides merupakan salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Euphorbiaceae. Makapruinosin A, senyawa turunan stilben dengan rantai samping seskuiterpen tak teratur telah diisolasi dari daun M. aleuritoides Struktur senyawa tersebut ditetapkan berdasarkan analisis spektroskopi,meliputi UV, IR, 1D dan 2D NMR. The specialty of sea cucumber is to have the capacity to regenerate cells, so as to stimulate regenaration the cells of human tissue that had broken even decompose so that a recovered. The research is a research experiment using lab animals are in vivo. The purpose of this study to see the effects of hepatoprotektor of the provision of extracts of sea cucumber sea (Holothuria Scabra) in a variety of doses with parameters SGPT of test animals are induced paracetamol dose hepatotoxic.This study did Pharmacology and Toxicology laboratorium from mei until agustus 2017. Methodof  research using the extraction of sea cucumber sea of Holothuria Scabra the test is in vivo using mice are divided into six groups : group 1 the control of the negative (the Na. CMC 1 %), the two (extracts of sea cucumber sea 1000 mg / kg weight), a group of three (extracts of sea cucumber sea 750 mg / kg weight), a group of four (extracts of sea cucumber sea 500 mg / kg weight), a group of five control posititf (group kurkuma 2, 5 mg 25 g of the weight of mice), a group of six control paracetamol dose of 62, 5 mg/25 g weigth of mice). Analysis data in one way anova.The research, produce that the negative do not differ significantly with the two (1000 mg / kg weight) and the five groups kurkuma, 5 mg/25 g weight of mice). It is concluded that extracts of sea cucumber with a dose of 1000 mg / kg of weight had improved the sgpt to normal. Key words : Extract from sea cucumber, SGPT ABSTRAK Teripang laut sebagai salah satu jenis hewan laut yang berkhasiat sebagai obat. Keistimewaan teripang adalah memiliki kemampuan regenerasi sel yang tinggi, sehingga mampu merangsang regenerasi/pemulihan sel pada jaringan tubuh manusia yang telah rusak bahkan membusuk sehingga menjadi pulih kembali. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen yang menggunakan hewan percobaan secara in vivo. This research is a laboratory experiment using posttest randomized controlled group design with posttest randomized control design with 8 treatment groups consisting of 5 test animals. Group 1 (normal control). group 2 (negative control) was given a NaCC Na suspension of 0.5% w / v. Group 3 positive (simvastatin suspension) and (metformin suspension). Group 4 was given EEDS 150 mg / kg BW. Group 5 was given EEDPW 600 mg / kg BW. Group 6 was given a combination of (I) EEDS, EEDPW 150 + 600 mg / kg BW. Group 7 was given a combination of (II) EEDS, EEDPW 75 + 300 mg / kg BW. The results showed that; there is a secondary metabolite compound in soursop leaf extract and pandan wangi, EEDS combination, EEDPW can decrease total cholesterol and blood glucose level, the most effective dose in decreasing the concentration of soursop leaves leaf sole 150 mg / kg BW. In Minahassa, leilem leaf generally consumed as vegetables. The present study revealed that leilem leaf can inhibit the growth of escherhia coli because of the presence of flavonoid that can demage bacterial cell membranes. This study at characterization of isolated compounds from ethanol extract of leilem leaves (Clerodendrum minahassae Teijsm and Binn). Extraction was done maceration using 70% ethanol with the percentage of rendement was 10,19%. The phytochemical analysis of ethanol extract of leilem leaves showed a positive result of alkoloid, flavonoid, streroid and tanin. The ethyl acetate extract was selected and 2 grams of it was taken to continued to second conventional column chromatography and 5 fractions were obtained. Fraction 2 was choosen and continued to preparative and result 2 isolates. Isolate 2 that showed one spot on tlc with rf 0,66. Was continued for spectrofotometri uv-vis and ftir analysis. The spectrophotometer uv-vis maximum wavalength at 269,0 nm and 333,0 nm. The ftir data indicated the presence of functional O-H, C-H, C=C and C-O which is suspected ad flavonoid.Keywords : Isolation, Characterization, leilem leaf (Clerodendrum minahassae Teijsm and Binn)ABSTRAKDaun leilem (Clerodendrum minahassae Teijsm dan Binn.) dilaporkan yaitu sebagai obat tradisional untuk menyembuhkan beberapa penyakit, seperti sakit perut dan Ascariasis. Daun leilem biasanya dikonsumsi sebagai sayuran oleh masyarakat di Minahasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil (karakter) senyawa yang diisolasi dari ekstrak etanol daun leilem (Clerodendrum minahassae Teijsm dan Binn.) ekstrak diperoleh dari proses maserasi menggunakan pelarut etanol 70% dengan persen rendamen 10,19%. Hasil uji kandungan kimia ekstrak etanol daun leilem positif mengandung alkaloid, flavonoid, steroid dan tanin. Ekstrak etil astetat dipilih dan diambil 2 gram dilanjutkan untuk dilakukan pemisahan menggunakan komatografi kolom konvensional dan menghasilkan 5 fraksi. Fraksi 3 dipilih dilanjutkan kromatografi kolom konvensional kedua dan didapatkan 5 fraksi. Fraksi 2 dipilih dan dilanjutkan ketahapan kromatgrafi lapis tipis preparatif dan menghasilkan 2 isolat. Therefore the use of natural ingredients as food coloring needs to be developed. Anthocyanins in Bunny fruits are dyes that can be used as an alternative to synthetic dyes that are safe for health. In this study 3 formulas were made with extract concentrations of 1%, 2% and 3% using 10% maltodextrin. The lack of anthocyanin stability is formulated into microencapsulation which can provide protection against anthocyanins. The resulting micrograph has almost the same color characteristics as the Buni fruit, which is red to purple. The best stability of microcapsules can be seen in formulas with 1% extract concentration, absorption efficiency value is 78.26%, after SEM analysis a uniform pore microstructure is obtained compared to other formulas.Key Words : Anthocyanins, microencapsulation, buni fruits, frezee drying, maltodextrinABSTRAKPewarna dalam makanan dapat meningkatkan penerimaan konsumen terhadap suatu produk, namun banyak pewarna sintesis dapat menyebabkan kerusakan organ tubuh jika dikonsumsi terus menerus. Oleh sebab itu pemanfaatan bahan alami sebagai pewarna makanan perlu dikembangkan. Antosianin dalam buah Buni merupakan zat warna yang dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif pengganti pewarna sintetis yang aman bagi kesehatan. Pada penelitian ini dibuat 3 formula dengan konsentrasi ekstrak 1 %, 2 % dan 3 % dengan menggunakan maltodekstrin 10 %. Kurangnya stabilitas antosianin maka diformulasi kedalam bentuk mikroenkapsulasi yang dapat memberikan perlindungan pada antosianin. Mikrograf yang dihasilkan memiliki karakteristik warna yang hampir sama dengan buah Buni yaitu berwarna merah hingga ungu. Kestabilan dari mikrokapsul yang paling baik dapat dilihat pada formula dengan konsentrasi ekstrak 1 %, nilai efisiensi penyerapan sebesar 78,26%, setelah analisis SEM diperoleh bentuk mikrostruktur pori yang seragam dibandingkan dengan formula yang lain. Papaya has antioxidant activity due to antioxidant components such as beta-carotene, vitamin C, lycopene. The purpose of this research is to know that methanol extract of papaya fruit can be formulated into gel peel off facial mask preparation, determining polivinyl alkohol (PVA) that used for gelling agent gel peel off facial mask concentration with physical, chemical, and antioxidant activity with the best IC50 value. The method used in the extraction is maceration with methanol solvent. PVA used with concentration are 2,5%; 8,75%; and 17,5%. The Physical test include organoleptic test, adhesion test, spreading test and the chemical test with pH test. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that the methanol extract of papaya fruit can be formulated into gel face mask preparation, the formula with PVA concentration of 8,75% fulfill organoleptic rules, with adhesion test 20,16 seconds ± 2,90, spreading test 10,2 cm ± 1,28, pH value 7,13 ± 0,06 with the physical and chemical properties of gel peel off facial mask methanol extract of papaya fruit, and formula with concentration 8,75% PVA has the highest antioxidant activity with IC50 value 80,52 µg/mL that include as strong antioxidant. Pepaya memiliki aktivitas antioksidan karena komponen-komponen antioksidan seperti betakaroten, vitamin C, likopen. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bahwa ekstrak metanol buah pepaya dapat diformulasikan menjadi sediaan masker wajah gel peel off dan menentukan konsentrasi polivinyl alkohol (PVA) yang merupakan bahan dasar masker gel peel off yang memiliki sifat fisik, kimia, dan aktivitas antioksidan dengan nilai IC50 terbaik. Metode yang digunakan pada ekstraksi adalah maserasi dengan pelarut metanol. PVA yang digunakan dengan konsentrasi 2,5%; 8,75%; dan 17,5%. Uji sifat fisik meliputi uji organoleptis, uji daya lekat, uji daya sebar, dan uji sifat kimia menggunakan uji pH. FFBA is a fraction that contains flavonoids and the andrographolide compounds has been removed. The antioxidant activity of FFBA was tested using the method of reducing free radicals from DPPH (1,1-diphenyl-2-pikrilhidrazil) and using quercetin as a standard. The results showed that FFBA has antioxidant activity with strong activity with IC50 value of 88.98 μg / mL while quercetin has a very strong activity with IC50 value of 3.42 μg / mL.Key Words : antioxidant, Andrographis paniculata, DPPH, flavonoidABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas antioksidan pada fraksi flavonoid bebas andrografolid (FFBA) dari herba sambiloto (Andrographis paniculata).
