We use the equation of radiative equilibrium and get the orbital semi-major axis in terms of the stars radius and the planets temperature and albedo. Then, according to the data of the planet and the definition of habitat zone, we can get the range of the habitat zone. We find that the relationship between the radius of the star and the planets radius is the radius of the stars surface, the temperature of the planets surface, and the albedo. We also discussed how the albedo, the star mass, the composition of the atmosphere, and the tidal lock influence the planets habitability. In conclusion, the only factor of the habitability of a planet is not the distance from the sun to the planet, we need to consider more factors and re-examine the habitability of the planets.","PeriodicalId":341023,"journal":{"name":"Theoretical and Natural Science","volume":"40 18","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141800212","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One key mechanism designed to mitigate the buildup of these misfolded proteins is the ubiquitin-proteasome system (UPS). In healthy individuals, the UPS marks these amyloid-beta plaques and neurofibrillary tangles with ubiquitin markers, facilitating their subsequent degradation by the proteasome complex. The UPS is critical for the degradation of the proteins, and its dysfunction has been observed in AD. In this paper, a potential treatment for diminishing dysfunction of the ubiquitin-proteasome system is composed for Alzheimers disease individuals. This research paper explores the correlation between impaired UPS and AD, focusing on its role in degrading damaged proteins. The paper also collects evidence suggesting that enhancing the ubiquitin-proteasome system can have a positive impact on clearing amyloid-beta plaques and neurofibrillary tangles. Additionally, potential UPS-based treatments for AD, such as PA28 activators and natural compounds, are investigated.","PeriodicalId":341023,"journal":{"name":"Theoretical and Natural Science","volume":"38 34","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141800277","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Beginning with its probabilistic foundations, the normal distribution is characterized by its bell-shaped curve, symmetric nature around the mean, and parameterization by the mean () and standard deviation (). Originating from the seminal works of Abraham de Moivre and further advanced by Gauss and Laplace, its theoretical underpinnings have significantly influenced statistical theory. Laplaces insights regarding errors and the normal distribution paved the way for its widespread adoption in statistical analysis. The normal distribution serves as a powerful tool in various applications, including estimating frequency distributions, analyzing student performance, establishing medical reference values, and forming the basis for numerous statistical methods. This paper explores the profound implications of the normal distribution, encompassing its definition, attributes, historical development, and practical applications, highlighting the enduring importance and versatility of the normal distribution in both theoretical and practical contexts.","PeriodicalId":341023,"journal":{"name":"Theoretical and Natural Science","volume":"42 17","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141800300","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It targets both genes, including sna, that are studied in previous researches, and genes that even their molecular function is still unknown, such as CG18269. Through examining both qualitative and quantitative data in this research, the absence of Zelda has proved to significantly down regulate the genes expression. The gene is also observed to have multiple Zelda-binding sites, which may or may not have correlation with its neighboring genes. The two main categories of procedure are online and offline analysis methods, which determines the causality of the system. Both approaches have their advantages and tradeoffs, and this article will introduce some examples of each procedure in an experimental setting, what are some specific processing methods they are using, what metrics are explained, how the two approaches performance compare, and how they produce and represent analytical data. One practical example on each approach, performed on a dataset from a previous experiment imaging neuronal activity in rats, is provided for better clarity and comparison measures. The offline example fits gaussian mixture model on high-pass filtered data, and the separate gaussian models are used to predict the status of the neuron given its relative fluorescence intensity. The online example uses an existing algorithm called OASIS, which uses an autoregressive model to reconstruct calcium trace and thus infers the spike. The main difference between the two is demonstrated to be their robustness and accuracy: online approach is more robust and can be utilized while recording the data, giving interpretable results with low latency, yet its accuracy does not depend on obtained sample number; offline approach is more time-consuming while fitting and training data to an optimal model. However, offline approaches accuracy will increase with large sample size. Both approaches provide deep insight into the acquired datasets, and while analyzing data they should be used strategically to fit the specific needs of the task.","PeriodicalId":341023,"journal":{"name":"Theoretical and Natural Science","volume":"14 17","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141800984","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The former outlines the basic principles of Markov chains, highlighting their utility in predicting word sequences in language modelling and text generation, despite certain limitations. Also, the former describes mathematical frameworks like n-gram models that enhance prediction accuracy by considering multiple preceding words. It acknowledges challenges in NLP such as oversimplification and emotional depth, as well as computational issues in higher-order models. It concludes by discussing the integration of Markov chains with other models to mitigate these limitations, and their enduring relevance in computational linguistics. The later investigates the MCMC methodology, a seminal development in the field of statistical inference, which is especially useful when analysing complicated systems when traditional statistical techniques are inadequate. Moreover, this later explores the fundamental concepts of MCMC, clarifies how it is inherently related to Markov chains, presents the three-pool model that is commonly applied to models of physical, chemical, or ecological systems, and discusses how MCMC can be used to analyse these models.","PeriodicalId":341023,"journal":{"name":"Theoretical and Natural Science","volume":"15 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141801550","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

CORT is proved to express FGF2, proteins found in critical glial cells named astrocytes. Increased FGF2 expression leads to higher rate of cell proliferation - including neurons. Theres been discoveries that newborn neurons, specifically those who have been exposed to FGF2, led to early neuron activation and enhanced neuronal function. Whats unclear is whether FGF2 played a role in somehow newborn neurons having enhanced function and activating earlier than usual (by releasing the early activation gene cFos). An experiment has been outlined in order to test the hypothesis that FGF2 does indeed play a role in altering some neurons. Using nanoparticles containing the micro RNA of NUDT6 - a gene that suppresses FGF2 expression - to target FGF2 in adult male Sprague-Dawley rats would directly test if FGF2 played a role in enhanced neuron activation.","PeriodicalId":341023,"journal":{"name":"Theoretical and Natural Science","volume":"19 10","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141801581","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Among the three types of Ultraviolet radiation, UVA and UVB are the two that can penetrate the epidermis and induce various symptoms of skin photoaging. Symptoms include wrinkles, reduced skin thickness, inflammation, and skin cancers in the worst situations. Skin photoaging is multifactorial. Excessive reactive oxygen species (ROS) and dermal extracellular matrix (ECM) degradation are the two significant features of skin photoaging. Ultraviolet radiation also induces cellular senescence and apoptosis of several skin cells like keratinocytes, dermal fibroblasts, and immunosuppression. Topical administration of natural-derived and synthetic products and laser resurfacing therapies are currently used to treat skin photoaging. However, topical delivery of drugs has difficulty penetrating the epidermis, whereas laser treatments have relatively severe side effects. Nanomaterials, including nanoparticles and nanofibers, can encapsulate drugs to achieve a controlled topical drug release system with higher permeability and efficacy. Nanomaterials are biodegradable, non-toxic, and have high biocompatibility, making them potentially less invasive and having good side effect profiles when used in therapies. Thus, nanomaterials have the potential to be applied in treating skin photoaging, but the optimal doses, efficacy, and safety profiles require to be reconfirmed and improved in future studies.","PeriodicalId":341023,"journal":{"name":"Theoretical and Natural Science","volume":"6 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141801782","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
