Using the structure of Assisted Global Navigation Satellite System (AGNSS) positioning system, UE is guaranteed to acquire navigation information of the three visible satellites rapidly, and with the compensation of range distances between UE and two adjacent base stations, which is obtained from the auxiliary services, the three visible satellites' data constructs a full-rank equation set to achieve positioning. By analyzing positioning results and accuracy, it is indicated that the confidence of this method's positioning error, according to 3GPP request of assisted satellite navigation accuracy error within 50m, reaches 94.56%. Some traditional channel estimation methods can not be applied to the NC-OFDM systems directly as its non-contiguous subcarrier. The improved time-domain channel estimation method which is different with the traditional LS and DFT channel estimation methods is proposed in this paper. It adopted the spectrum sensing based on CR context at the transmitter and receiver before the IFFT block and after the FFT blocks, respectively. Cluster heads are elected based on their relative speed and stability on the road with minimal overhead since all clustering information are embedded in control channel's safety messages. In wideband spectrum sensing scenario, since there might not be enough CRs in the network, or due to hardware limitations, each CR node can only sense a relatively narrow band of radio spectrum. Consequently, the available channel sensing information is far from being sufficient for precisely recognizing the wide range of unoccupied channels. Based on the fact that the spectrum usage information the CR nodes collect has a common sparsity pattern, in this paper, we present a compressed collaborative wideband spectrum sensing scheme in cognitive radio networks. Under the hypothesis of joint sparsity, the CRs need to randomly detect a very small number of sub-channels according to a measurement matrix and send the results to a fusion center. To make the compressed sensing more effective, the scheme uses LDPC-like measurement matrix. Then the whole channel status can be recoverd by the fusion center through a low-complexity message passing algorithm. However, the traditional PF technology is based on the sampling importance resampling (SIR), which has the inherent blindness. Therefore, its tracking performance in WLAN indoor environment is degraded. The auxiliary particle filter (APF) can solve this problem very well by making use of the current observation information during the production of new particles, so this paper employs the auxiliary particle filter (APF) for location tracking in WLAN fingerprinting positioning system to improve the WLAN indoor tracking performance. In the simulation, the weighted k-nearest neighbors method (WKNN) is chosen as the fingerprinting positioning algorithm. Simulation results show that APF based tracking algorithm performs better than PF based tracking algorithm. According to the properties of the primary synchronization signal (PSS) and the secondary synchronization signal (SSS), a modified algorithm is proposed in this paper, which processes correlation of the received samples only once with sum of local PSS sequences to obtain the position of PSS and detects the position of SSS previously to reduce the times of SSS detection. The theoretical derivation and complexity of both conventional and modified algorithms are derived and compared. It comes to the conclusion that the modified algorithm can reduce at least 60% calculation. It can optimize transmission parameters according to the environment, and obtain the desired communication performance through multi-objective optimization algorithm. In this paper, we analyze the Cognitive Radio decision engine based on OFDM system, and introduce a binary quantum-behaved particle swarm optimization algorithm (BQPSO), which has stronger optimal searching ability and faster convergence speed. Because quantum effect has the excellent characteristics of nonlinearity and uncertainty, it can reach better optimize performance than other optimization algorithms. Based on OFDM system, the simulation results show that BQPSO algorithm has a good performance in convergence, speed, and average fitness value. It has received a great attention due to the ability to improve the spectrum utilization. In such a CR network, power control can increase the efficiency by adjusting the transmission power of the secondary users (SU). In this paper, we propose an adaptive distributed power control scheme for CR networks where the conventional power control schemes used in cellular system are modified to be used in cognitive radio network to consider the QoS requirements of both the Primary User (PU) and the SU simultaneously. Since the transmission power of each SU is constrained so that the interference temperature at the primary receiver caused by all SUs does not exceed the interference tolerance of the PU. The uniform measurement of the system loads, the principle and steps of handoff-based load balancing algorithm are described for the heterogeneous systems with unequal user capacities. The load relation between TD-SCDMA and GSM systems carrying asymmetric services is classified into four cases. For each case, trigger condition of handoff operation, the traffic volume to be migrated and the criteria of selecting users to be migrated are analyzed. Selected mapping (SLM) scheme has good performance for PAPR reduction. It requires the transmitting data to be multiplied by random phase sequences. However, the sequences are pseudo-random which will decrease the method effectiveness. Exhaustive entropy is introduced in this paper which can identify the strength of random phase sequences property. Then an exhaustive entropy based SLM method is proposed. The scheme improves the effectiveness of random phase sequences by selecting the larger exhaustive entropy of them.
