The research was conducted using the experimental model design or Quasi Experimental design, which this design has a control group but can not function fully to control the outside variables that affect the implementation of the experiment.  This study used the Nonequivalent Control Group Design, which the experimental group and the control group were not randomly selected. Based on the results of the analysis it can be concluded there is a significant increase on the ability to tell stories using CTL approach of 9.18> 7.82. Various efforts can be used for this purpose, one of which is through the Islamic literacy movement. This study seeks to reveal the Islamic literacy practice in fostering the religious character of students in RA KM Al-Hikmah through qualitative research methods with a single case study approach. The results of this study find the fact that religious character development is carried out through the practice of Islamic literacy that is integrated in classroom-based learning and school-based culture. Through learning activities that are subject to the content of religious material and delivered with various methods, religious values are not only oriented towards the accumulation of student knowledge but also become a habit to be religious. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan penelitian lapangan yang bersifat kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui angket terbuka. Masa Taman Kanak-kanak (TK) merupakan masa pertumbuhan yang paling hebat dan sekaligus paling sibuk. Pada masa ini anak sudah memiliki keterampilan dan kemampuan walaupun belum sempurna. Usia anak pada masa ini merupakan fase fundamental yang akan menentukan kehidupannya di masa datang. Oleh sebab itu, sebagai orang tua dan pendidik harus memahami perkembangan anak usia dini khususnya perkembangan fisik dan motorik. Perkembangan motorik sangat dipengaruhi oleh organ otak, melalui bermain terjadi stimulasi pertumbuhan otot-ototnya ketika anak melompat, melempar, atau berlari. Selain itu anak bermain dengan menggunakan seluruh emosi, perasaan, dan pikiranya. Pendidikan di TK dilaksanakan dengan prinsip “belajar melalui bermain, atau belajar seraya bermain”. Sesuai dengan perkembangan, oleh sebab itu diharapkan seorang pendidik yang kreatif dan inovatif agar anak bisa merasa senang, tenang, aman dan nyaman selama dalam proses belajar mengajar. The purpose of this study is (1) to determine the level of cognitive development of children; (2) to find out the difficulty of using card board puzzle media; (3) to find out the influence of the card board puzzle media. The subjects in this study were students in the Generasi Harapan kindergarten group in Sukodadi Subdistrict which were registered in the 2018/2019 school year. There are 23 children. The results of the study in group B in TK Sukodadi District showed that of 23 children who were the subjects of research on cognitive development in using puzzle board card media to get to know the names of land vehicles. The design of this study uses the experimental results of data collection techniques used are observation and documentation. Pada usia ini struktur dan fungsi otaknya sedang berkembang dan pengaruhnya bersifat menetap terhadap perkembangan perilaku dan kepribadian anak selanjutnya. Sehingga mereka sangat tepat jika  dijadikan komunitas awal pembentukan karakter bangsa. Pendidikan berwawasan kebangsaan  pada Anak Usia Dini (AUD) diharapkan dapat mempersiapkan mereka menjadi seseorang yang mempunyai identitas baik didalam masyarakat lokal maupun global, dan mempunyai visi untuk membangun dunia bersama dalam budaya global. Salah satu cara agar anak dapat menerima materi pelajaran (untuk TK materi pelajaran menggunakan tema), adalah melalui permainan. Permainan tersebut diantaranya adalah permainan tradisional. Didalam permainan tradisional, kita dapat mengembangkan rasa kebersamaan, gotong royong, mengurangi rasa egois, dsb. This research was conducted by pre-test post-test one group design. The subject of this research were 14 children’s TK A Ma’arif Payaman. Data analysis technique used in this research was Wilcoxon’s signed rank test. It was found that there was a significant difference between the ability of self adjustment at school score before and after treatment. Based on the Wilcoxon test it was found that T count = 0, N = 14 with 0,01 significant level so T table = 0,05. It means T count < T table (0<0,05). So hypothesis of this research was accepted. This research is a type of experimental research using nonquivalent control group design. This research was conducted at TK Islam Insan Kamil Tuban with research subject of 40 children divided into control group and experiment group. The research data was collected by observation and documentation technique. Data analysis using ANOVA test or F test.  The results showed that the science playing has an effect on the development of the mathematical logic intelligence of children. This is evidenced by the difference of mathematical logic result between experimental group that is equal to 70% and control group equal to 58,75%. Considering the importance of learning in early childhood that the main focus is to develop and develop all aspects of child development, sometimes parents still do not understand well the stages that are right for children, so it is certain that parents will force everything according to their wishes. This encourages parents to take shortcuts which they consider to be good especially for the good of their children in the future, so it is not surprising that parents include their children to participate in additional activities outside the formal activities that have become their usual routine, these additional activities are more popular with the term learning extra, which in turn is more focused on reading, writing and arithmetic or in short calistung. This study raises the phenomenon of the parents in involving their children in extra calistung learning activities, where the actions taken by these parents are a phenomenon of actions that have specific motives and causes. This research uses a phenomenological qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were children and parents from 2 different institutions, namely institutions in Gresik Selatan District, precisely in Kedamean District and Menganti District, which researchers deliberately took to express and understand the meaning behind the phenomenon of the actions taken by these parents. The instrument in this study is the researcher himself as a direct observer who is also a data collector.
